AGREED!!  That is one of the major issue myself and other expats discussed, its the final nail in the coffin after deadliest roads, mandatory medical insurance, dealing with horrible immigrations attitude...why bother when there are so many other amazing options in asia, and I can take my thai wife with me to live.  Choose the path of least resistance...

Let me be the FIRST to say, I wish I could say otherwise.  I/we/and many wish it was opposite - better!  But all i am doing is being real.  Thai immigration can improve but makes a "choice" NOT to for now.  Perhaps one day current reality will improve, but until it does it is best to see Thailand for what it is, and act in your BEST interest because nobody else cares.  TVF cannot save us, even with the best of intentions by some, or many. 

Take the rose colored glasses OFF ASAP...or just keep them on....

I’d say both but it’s a one two punch....just another requirement to force people to reconsider other better options...a path of least or less resistance.
