  1. For reference (Wikipedia):- APG has two Co-Chairs: one permanent and one two-year term rotating Co-Chair. The permanent Co-Chair is Australia, represented by Deputy Commissioner Ian McCartney (2019), Australian Federal Police, and the current rotating Co-Chair is Malaysia, represented by Mr. Marzunisham Omar (2020), Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Malaysia [1]. Members;- (some interesting ones when it comes to money laundering!!) Afghanistan Australia Bangladesh Bhutan Brunei Darussalam Cambodia Canada China Cook Islands Fiji New Zealand Hong Kong India Indonesia South Korea Laos Macau Japan South Korea Maldives Marshall Islands Malaysia Mongolia Myanmar Nauru Niue Pakistan Palau Papua New Guinea Philippines Samoa Singapore Solomon Islands Sri Lanka Taiwan Thailand Timor-Leste Tonga United States Vanuatu Vietnam
  2. Should the color be yellow - referring to the Chinese and not his shirt?? A yellow shirt would be advantageous rather than a red one!!
  3. As a diabetic, especially an insulin dependent one like me, very difficult to get life insurance - if at all! I tried on several occasions when I was living in Thailand without success. I was also refused medical/health insurance. All I could purchase was accident insurance but not here in Cambodia, where I now live, as I am too old at 77 and I was also refused Covid-19 insurance. So now I am uninsured, having to pay, where required, from my personal funds.
  4. Yes indeed and for all Civil Servants at special festivals etc.
  5. Quote:- "after six layers of plastic bags were wrapped tightly round his (the victim's) head" I know what my assessment report would state " ordered to be detained in a mental hospital at .......................... pleasure!
  6. From the photo - some idiots not wearing facemasks, including the Czar of Covid!!!
  7. Interesting and thanks. When I read the OP and saw Air Aviation, I asked myself who are they? According to Wikipedia, it is the holding company which includes Thai Air Asia. It will be interesting to read their response.
  8. Yes indeed and certainly in the UK. Electric locomotives, multiple units and trams either use electricity from overhead wires or from ground level side rails. However, back in 1958, British Railways introduced a "one off" experimental battery powered multiple unit for use on the Royal Deeside Line between Aberdeen and Ballater. The two units were withdrawn in 1962 when the line closed and are now preserved. The huge batteries were slung between the bogies under the units. I believe this is what SRT have in mind. Photo:- (I have travelled on this train)
  9. Does this contravene the "Trades Description Act"? It is NOT chicken and should, in my opinion, be called "Fried chicken flavored soya bean nuggets" (yuck!!) Give me genuine meat any day.
  10. Oh really, but not, in my opinion, with local "Ma & Pa" family run businesses out in the sticks - almost impossible to check and police!
  11. Just like us volunteers with the Thai Tourist Police.
  12. Yes indeed and I must also offer sincere thanks to him for helping to organize (pre-covid) the Royal British Legion's Remembrance Day Service at the Foreign Cemetery in Chiang Mai.
  13. I wonder where this stolen Cambodian crude oil was destined - North Korea by any chance?????
  14. What if the new palm trees are of the coconut variety?????
  15. For reference, the latest in "Breaking News" in The Nation so all the cars could be "legit"! "The Customs Department said on Wednesday that Pol Colonel Thitisan Uthanapol had helped seize 368 illegal cars since 2011 and should have earned some 400 million for his work. The department has sold 363 of the 368 cars Thitisan helped seize and has earned 1 billion baht from the sale. ............ said officers are given 40-per-cent of the proceeds earned from the sale of cars they seized, and in this case, Thitisan is entitled to 400 million baht." https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40005301
