  1. Audi and Porsche are recalling 6,676 electric vehicles due to a potential fire risk. At the heart of the issue is a possible leak inside of the battery that could lead to arcing and then a thermal event. Audi and Porsche plan to have dealers inspect each car and then go to the costly measure of replacing the entire battery if needed. According to Porsche, it first became aware of this issue back in 2022 due to reports of “reduced insulation values” in some Taycan batteries. https://www.carscoops.com/2023/09/porsche-taycan-and-audi-e-tron-gt-recalled-over-potential-fire-risk/
  2. From The Thai economics point of view ICE vehicles made in Thailand provide more jobs and generated more revenue than an EV made in Thailand as the local content i.e made in Thailand for a Toyota Hilux is 90% compared to an EV made in Thailand where local content is 30% majority of parts for EV's are imported in from China The domestic value added (domestic value add) that Thailand will receive from the production of 1 EV car is much lower than the production of ICE cars due to having to rely on importing key parts from abroad. Meanwhile, in the original product group that Thailand can produce, it is likely that prices will have to be reduced in order to compete with Chinese entrepreneurs. Because Chinese companies can import directly from China at a much lower cost than Thailand. As a result, even if an EV car factory is established in Thailand, the benefits that Thailand will receive from car production will be less than in the past. https://brandinside.asia/car24-layoff-2024/

  10. The ICC Prosecutor is part of the ICC The ICC Prosecutor has put forward applications for warrants of arrest before Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court in the Situation in the State of Palestine. Applying for an Arrest Warrant or Summons to Appear Based on the evidence it gathers during an investigation, the OTP can submit a request to the ICC judges, asking them to issue arrest warrants or summonses to appear. Once the judges determine that there are reasonable grounds to believe that a person has committed a crime within the Court's jurisdiction, the judges will only issue an arrest warrant to ensure the person's appearance at trial, to ensure the person does not obstruct or endanger the investigation or Court proceedings, or to prevent the person from continuing to commit the crime in question. https://www.icc-cpi.int/about/otp https://www.icc-cpi.int/news/statement-icc-prosecutor-karim-aa-khan-kc-applications-arrest-warrants-situation-state In addition there are a number of legal experts 5 British and 1 American-Israeli that support this application https://www.ft.com/content/aa2089c5-6388-437d-bf5c-9268f3a788ce
  11. You are living in fantasy land every time the USA tries to do something through the security council there is 2 parties which will just use their veto card The days of the US bully boy tactics are over
  12. The ICC would then become the World power , arresting anyone they disagree with . You mean like the dozen Republican senators who threaten the ICC prosecutor and his family “Target Israel and we will target you. If you move forward with the measures indicated in the report, we will move to end all American support for the ICC, sanction your employees and associates, and bar you and your families from the United States,” the senators wrote in the letter sent April 24. “You have been warned,” the letter concluded. https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2024/05/06/congress/gop-senators-warn-icc-on-israel-00156232

  16. During the ceasefire talks Palestinian prisoners including administrative detainee ratio numbers, age, male or female and can Israel hold a veto on who is being released and the timings of their release are discussed by Israel and Hamas 2023 Israeli–Palestinian prisoner exchange Israel released 240 Palestinian prisoners, 107 of whom were between 14 and 17 years old, and three-quarters of whom had not been convicted of a crime, although some were awaiting trial in a military court.[1] In exchange, Hamas released 105 civilians, which included 81 people from Israel, 23 Thais and one Filipino.[2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Israeli–Palestinian_prisoner_exchange In 2012 ICJ issued the following “Under international law, administrative detention is unlawful, except in narrow circumstances as an exceptional and temporary measure. However, Israel has routinely resorted to unlawful prolonged administrative detention of individuals from the Occupied Palestinian Territory, sometimes as an alternative to criminal proceedings,” said Saïd Benarbia, Senior Legal Adviser for the Middle East and North Africa Programme. “Israeli authorities must comply with their obligations under international law and fully guarantee the rights of persons arrested or imprisoned without charge to the presumption of innocence, medical assistance, communication with family members and full and unrestricted access to a legal counsel.” https://www.icj.org/israel-must-end-abusive-practice-of-administrative-detention-and-ensure-humane-treatment-of-hunger-strikers/ According to Haaretz, as of March, at least 27 detainees from Gaza had died in Israeli military facilities since the beginning of the war, including some at Sde Teiman. One of the most recent deaths to be confirmed was Adnan al-Bursh, a Palestinian doctor who was reportedly arrested in December at Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza; it was announced this month that al-Bursh had died in Ofer Prison in April. The Israeli authorities have refused to give details about the circumstances of his death. After the shocking images were exposed, Israeli officials admitted that approximately 90 percent of the detainees were civilians unaffiliated with any militant groups. https://www.972mag.com/sde-teiman-torture-prisoners/
  17. Hostages held by Hamas are not allowed to leave of their own accord Palestinian held by Israel as administrative detainees are not allowed to leave of their own accord administrative detainee is someone held in prison without charge or trial It amounts to the same thing Remember Guantanamo Bay detention camp In 2010, Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, a former aide to Secretary of State Colin Powell, stated in an affidavit that top U.S. officials, including President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, had known that the majority of the detainees initially sent to Guantánamo were innocent, but that the detainees had been kept there for reasons of political expedience https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guantanamo_Bay_detention_camp#cite_note-45
  18. How many Palestinian prisoners are being held without charge? About 3,660 Palestinians being held in Israel are under administrative detention, according to Addameer. An administrative detainee is someone held in prison without charge or trial. Neither the administrative detainees, who include women and children, nor their lawyers are allowed to see the “secret evidence” that Israeli forces say form the basis for their arrests. These people have been arrested by the military for renewable periods of time, meaning the arrest duration is indefinite and could last for many years. The administrative detainees include 41 children and 12 women, according to Addameer. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/4/17/palestinian-prisoners-day-how-many-palestinians-are-in-israeli-jails

  20. Not only Gantz Gallant also Mr Gantz's six-point plan comes days after Israeli defence minister Yoav Gallant, the third member of the war cabinet, openly said he has repeatedly pleaded with the other two members to decide on a post-war vision for Gaza. Mr Gallant said this should involve the creation of a new Palestinian civilian leadership. https://news.sky.com/story/benny-gantz-israeli-war-cabinet-member-threatens-to-resign-if-benjamin-netanyahu-doesnt-adopt-new-plan-for-gaza-13138944
  21. His name is not on the letter sent to the ICC Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas, promised to target the International Criminal Court and its employees if it issues a warrant for Netanyahu’s arrest—an act several Israeli leaders believe is imminent. “Target Israel and we will target you,” the letter reads. It threatens to use the 2002 Bush administration American Service-Members’ Protection Act—also known colloquially as “The Hague Invasion Act”—to compel the ICC to release any U.S. person or ally it detains. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/gop-senators-vow-ruin-icc-220322425.html https://zeteo.com/p/exclusive-you-have-been-warned-republican
