  2. Doesn't matter what you think I can see in your posts this view doesn't fit your agenda If you read the Gov link that I attached in my previous post you would have seen illegal migration was covered in the Thematic issues section. Finally, managing illegal migration is a global challenge facilitated by organised crime and exploiting vulnerable migrants.

Dont think the Albanians can be classed as refugees Albanians accounted for nearly four in 10 migrants crossing the Channel over a six-week period this summer, despite the Nato member country being at peace since 1997, https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2022/08/15/albanian-migrants-exploiting-modern-slavery-law-loophole-record/
  4. Incorrect again Taking back control of our borders Free movement will end, with our own Parliament deciding our domestic immigration policy in the national interest. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/759792/28_November_EU_Exit_-_Taking_back_control_of_our_borders__money_and_laws_while_protecting_our_economy__security_and_Union__1_.pdf Taking back control of our borders was never anything to do with illegal entry
  5. The large numbers coming in by boat are using a loophole that allows them to stay without claiming asylum So even if the UK was still part of the Dublin agreement that agreement can't be used when people are claiming they to be trafficked https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2022/08/15/albanian-migrants-exploiting-modern-slavery-law-loophole-record/
  6. Not according to the Home office he Home Office noted in February 2019: "There were 1,215 transfers into the UK under the Dublin Regulation. The majority (946) of these transfers came from Greece. There were just 209 transfers out of the UK under the Dublin Regulation. A quarter of these (51) were transfers to France." https://www.migrationwatchuk.org/briefing-paper/444/transfers-of-asylum-seekers-from-the-uk-under-the-dublin-system#:~:text=There were just 209 transfers,) were transfers to France."

  13. Shell said it did not yet owe any taxes under the new levy, having not made a profit in the UK since 2017 because of its investments. Ben van Buerden, chief executive of the oil and gas giant, said he accepted the case for higher taxes https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2022/10/27/talks-government-ministers-consider-new-windfall-tax0/ Rishi Sunak plans to expand windfall tax grab The Prime Minister could target energy firms as he tries to raise billions of pounds to balance the books https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2022/10/27/rishi-sunak-plans-expand-windfall-tax-grab/ Seems Shell are expecting an increase on the windfall taxes
  14. Shell doesn't seem to be bothered about their PR While this move is likely to please shareholders it is likely to bring down the red mist elsewhere when it comes to what Shell is doing with its excess cash. $18.5bn in share buybacks so far year to date and a 15% rise in dividends
  15. Shell says it has not paid any windfall tax this year despite record profits – business live Oil giant expects not to pay levy in 2022 because of North Sea investment relief; Labour, Lib Dems and Greenpeace call for ‘proper windfall tax’ on energy firms’ profits https://www.theguardian.com/business/live/2022/oct/27/shell-profits-double-95bn-european-central-bank-hike-interest-rates-lloyds-profits-slide-business-live Its Catch 22 If the Uk Gov takes the money there will always be new Investments in area's that there a guaranteed return, what you will see is in area's where there is a 50/50 chance of finding oil or gas then these area's will not be explored

  17. Not sure which country you are referring to can't be the UK as the majority of greasy spoon burger vans are usually parked in lay-by have no access to electricity. Given that some charging outlets are now charging £1 per kilo watt where depending on what electic tariff your on you can charge for £0.075p per kilo watt Home charging would seem to be the cheapest option unless your going somewhere long distance and you need to charge away from home. Most UK councils I know don't give anything for free so they wack up the rate that you pay for charging and say we wouldn't charge you a parking fee while your charging your vehicle but they do its just hidden in the rate cost per kilo watt
  18. Thailand's EV registrations in 2021 No. 1 is the MG ZS EV. It must be admitted that it is the best-selling EV of the year with the 2022 MG ZS EV (MG ZS EV) registering 660 vehicles The second place is the MG EP (MG EP) , an electric van with sales of 436 units The total number of new EV registrations in Thailand for the full year 2021 is only 1,643 vehicles, https://www.autofun.co.th/news/ยอดจดทะเบียน-ev-ของประเทศไทยในปี-2021-นำโด่งด้วย-mg-แต่ยังไม่มีข้อมูล-ora-good-cat-39726
  19. The justification for leaving the single market is simple a majority vote took place in 2016 to leave the European Union. In practice if a employer is paying their workers £525 for a 35 hour week and then they find out they can imported cheaper labour elsewhere and pay them £250 for the same 35 hour week then they are going to do so Cheap labour and poor working conditions isn't just a UK problem Its an EU problem Invisible workers: Underpaid, exploited and put at risk on Europe’s farms "At the moment we have this crazy situation where we actually have better protection for animals than for some of these workers on our farms," said German Green MEP Daniel Freund. https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2020/07/17/invisible-workers-underpaid-exploited-and-put-at-risk-on-europe-s-farms Most of these workers are cross-border migrants which would be in the UK if the UK allowed unrestricted access
  20. Majority of countries worldwide have working visas requirments so the UK is no different to any other country Unrestricted labour access mainly benefits SME and businesses that are not unionize they drive down wages and working conditions for everyone thats works in those business sectors
  21. If you want labour shortages to be removed employers need to pay better rates, better working conditions some sort of job security not these zero hour contracts Both in the UK and Europe it seems the same business sectors that have a huge problem with labour shortages Since covid and people returned home they have found better paid jobs together with a better homelife hence they have not returned to their former jobs Airlines let a large number of staff go during Covid at the end of covid some airliness came up with a brillant idea Why don't we rehire them but with less salary and worse working conditions before they left
  22. Labour shortages felt all over Europe One of the reasons for the shortage of workers in the richer EU countries might lie in the disruptions that the COVID pandemic brought to intra-EU migration. Gerhard Huemer of SMEUnited said: “What we see most of is Eastern Europeans having returned home during the pandemic and choosing not to head back to Western Europe now.” https://www.euractiv.com/section/politics/news/labour-shortages-felt-all-over-europe/ Spain has passed laws in July that allow Non-EU nationals ( Including UK nationals) will be able to obtain a work visa to come to Spain more easily and take up jobs in areas facing labour shortages i.e. tourism, construction, agriculture.
