  1. Or could it be if the customer had followed the recommend action and removed the accessory that was the source of the issue they wouldn't be able to find further problems
  2. Majority of Thai media outlets do name the Brand The dealership /brand has investigated and found Due to the customer's concern about the display of the tire pressure monitoring alarm system incorrectly. The company did a preliminary investigation and found that the customer had installed an air purifier as an accessory. The operation of some car air purifiers may transmit frequencies that affect the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The company therefore recommends that customers remove such accessories.
  3. Some many factors to consider Driving style Tire size Engine size Cargo area loaded or unloaded engine size Model year Number of passengers weight of driver and passengers Here an example of some figures Compare the consumption rate of 9 pickup trucks sold in Thailand 2022 https://chobrod.com/tips-car-care/เปรียบเทียบอัตราสิ้นเปลือง-9-รถกระบะที่ขายในไทย-2019-7142
  4. I agree with you about joining the facebook groups as people always post what deal they have been offered and ask is this a good deal the op should seperate what the brand is offering in terms of discount or extras and what the dealer is offering Brand offers Free Insurance for 1 year and 0% or low interest rates free servicing for x number of years ( check does it include parts and labour as normally its just labour) Dealer Offers Glass tinting, carpets, maybe glass coating If Op is not in a hurry wait for motor show in December
  5. You should ask the question how many condo owners have formed an association or committee and submitted a detailed business plan including costings to the building owner or management committee detailed business plan should include number of chargers, type of charges, number of dedicated parking spaces required, who will pay for installation and ongoing maintenance of such chargers, how usage will be charged back to each person that uses the facilites and the unit cost taking in all of the above
  6. Potential Fraud claims you might want to check this page out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla,_Inc. Best Electric Vehicles for 2022 and 2023 1) Electric cars 2022 Chevrolet Bolt 2)Luxury Electric Cars 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 3) Electric SUV 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/hyundai/ioniq-5 The Tesla Model 3 was at the Moto Expo 2020 priced at 2.99 million baht Ev prices in Thailand range from 325,000 baht upwards The Thai auto market is more significant than most people would think; over 750,000 cars were sold in the market last year, and it is expected to ramp up to 800,000–900,000 this year. However, most of those vehicles are not in the same price range as Tesla vehicles. https://electrek.co/2022/05/25/tesla-preparing-enter-thailand-market-evs-batteries-solar/ Tesla loses electric car crown to Chinese rival backed by Warren Buffett BYD, a Chinese firm backed by Warren Buffet, dwarfed Tesla's sales in the first six months of the yearhttps://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2022/07/05/tesla-loses-electric-car-crown-chinese-rival-back-warren-buffett/
  7. With some many doubting thomas's around it makes you wonder why people bought EVs from a relative newcomer brand such as Tesla If anyone is asked to name 5 automotive brands that have been selling vehicles for more than 50 years Telsa wouldn't be in the list. As for car companies going bankrupt the majority of brand's only build a small number of components, majority of vehicle components are built by tier 1 suppliers and quite often use carry over components from previous models example variants. of the Ford Kent engine developed in 1959 were used in many vehicles until 2002 I purchased a Rover 75 built by MG Rover before they went into administration in 2005 parts are still available today via Unipart ( parts and service division of British Leyland) and shared parts of the BMW 3 series) Most Chinese electric-vehicle (EV) manufacturers, except BYD Company Ltd., remained unprofitable in 1H22 despite strong volume growth. BYD’s strategy to produce batteries and certain types of microchips internally also helped it to better weather supply-chain bottlenecks and cost inflation. https://www.fitchratings.com/research/corporate-finance/few-chinese-ev-makers-are-profitable-despite-volume-boost-13-09-2022
  8. Yes Byd have announce they will have a factory in Thailand in 2024 The factory is expected to start operation in 2024 with an annual production capacity of about 150,000 vehicles. EVs (BEVs and maybe PHEVs) made in Thailand will be sold locally as well as exported to neighboring ASEAN countries and other areas including Europe https://insideevs.com/news/610066/byd-electric-car-plant-thailand/ Many countries have high import dues, primarly to protect their own production lines. USA applys a 25% duty on trucks and commercial vehicles(Chicken Tax) It seems that Byd does have a partnership agreement with Tesla for battery supply and according to this report as already sent batteries for Model Y https://electrek.co/2022/08/11/tesla-model-y-byd-blade-batteries-gigafactory-berlin/ Any car brand that exports will be subject to the same testing requirements as any other brand that sells in that region
  9. Not every garage in Thailand is open 24hr and your travelling in the sticks sometimes you can go 20-30km without seeing a petrol station. I myself normally refuel when guage is showing about 20% but I do know people that still drive when the fuel light is on and your trip is showing 2-3km left. I know people that have had a flat battery in the morning in ICE vehicles and yes if petrol station is refilling their tanks normally they close access to all the pumps
  10. You can use the same excuses with ice vehicles, left lights on all night battery drained. Many countries where petrol stations only operate 08:00-18:00 if your petrol station is in a remote area are you going to stay open 24/7 for the off chance of maybe 1 or 2 cars so you need to plan. Ever been to a petrol station where all the pumps are closed because they are refilling the tanks I have many times Petrol Stations across Lochaber Lochaber is a remote and wild region. Petrol stations are few and far between. Plan your journey beforehand to ensure you are well topped up with petrol. https://www.wildlochaber.com/travel/petrol-stations
  11. Neta U pro 610 is being launch in December with extended battery 610km (NEDC) so you should get 700km easy with 1 stop to recharge
  12. If we focus on EVs with a price tag of 1.3 million baht or less then you are looking at approx 7 EVs ( I believe Nissan Leaf is no longer for sale in Thailand) https://www.headlightmag.com/full-review-2019-2022-nissan-leaf-ev/ https://www.facebook.com/Techhangout/photos/a.1576235062687531/3178652879112400/ A few years go Brands would build up stock before they would launch a new model not sure if they do that anymore and its simply build per colour batch At the moment its Catch 22 for the car buyers that ordered in March at that time and at the price point of 1.3 million or less there was only 2 brands to choose from and if you were looking for a type example suv only 1 model available From next month there will be 4 brands to choose from and on the b-size suv front 3 models to choose from So March buyers that haven't received their order's the choice is to stick with that brand or cancel their order and go with a different brand I can't seen it happening but it would be good if when a customer goes to a dealer to view and order a car they show you the approx wait times for different paint colors that way you know if you choose an unpopular colour the wait time will be x number of months longer than one of the popular colours
  13. Details of Haval H6 opening offers on facebook page Haval H6 Club Thailand ( public group) Price will be released in October
  14. I think you will find the major issue of adoption of EV's in Thailand right now is supply and demand of EV's some people that ordered ev's in march this year haven't received their vehicles yet. Some brands are coping better than others some brands seem to just refused to answer customer queries on delivery dates
  15. How long will ie last I think that depends on many factors When a ceramic or graphene coating is on your car, it is there for good. It may wear a little thin and not repel water and dirt like it did when it was fresh, but it's not gone. https://cars.newagain.co.uk/blog.asp?topic=How-long-do-ceramic-coatings-really-last&tag=&id=39#:~:text=Ceramic Coating Guarantees,%2C comfortably for 5-years. I had a red car in the uk not ceramic coated left in years in the sun after a few years paint looked dull and part of the bonnet was a different colour due to oxidation
  16. Itw worth doing some research on the brand of coating I came across one that was product of Germany but unable to find anyone in Germany that had used it or for sale anywhere. You don't mention what size of car as that affects the price I paid 12.5k baht for a malaysian brand for a double cab pickup 5 year warranty , wash inside and out and top up if required every 6 months for 300 baht Most places offer an underseal service(rust proofing) for 2-3k useful if where you drive the roads are flooded often I did find coating prices range from 10k to 50K depending on the how long you want the warranty for
  17. Normally you will get this when language is set to English or your web browser is translating Thai to your language if you change language to thai or turn browser translation to off then search will appear
  18. Look at the service intervals, some require a service every 6 months or x number of km which ever comes 1st Ford service intervals are every 12 months or 15,000 km which ever comes 1st
  19. Thai government in February announced that it will provide subsidies ranging from 70,000-150,000 baht depending on the type and model of the vehicle. https://techwireasia.com/2022/04/thailand-expand-incentives-to-further-spur-ev-adoption/#:~:text=To begin with%2C in an,and model of the vehicle. A number of ev's the price was reduced in March by up to 150,000 baht
  20. As I understand the costings will be released later this month and its for a 2 year period Labour recently announced a plan that was limited to 6 months at a cost of £29 billion and they hoped to get £8 billion from an extra windfall tax. They also planned to withdraw the planned £400 energy rebate So if we cost Labour plan over 2 years that does come to £116 billion
  21. In the UK family pets normally buried in the garden In Thailand there are a number of temples that do offer a pet cremation Service
  22. UK Goverment doesn't agree with you The Energy Profits Levy is an additional 25% tax on UK oil and gas profits on top of the existing 40% headline rate of tax, taking the combined rate of tax on profits to 65% https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/cost-of-living-support/energy-profits-levy-factsheet-26-may-2022

  24. Can't provide you with boot storage capacity, Most reviews tend not to provide that information. I do recall my father used to own a Toyota Yaris Verso ( not a very good looking car) not much larger than a standard size Yaris 3.86m long, 1.69m wide and 1.6m tall with back seats stored into the floor and 3rd seat removed it did provide 2160 litres of storage space. When you do your research I suggest you compare the Byd blade battery vs everything else ( Given that the most expensive component in a BEV is the battery)
  25. Or wait until December 2022 NETA U Pro : 4,530 x 1,860 x 1,628 mm / wheelbase 2,770 mm. Can run up to 610 km. per charge (NEDC standard)
