I don't think anyone can give you an idea of the resale value of any vehicle once its out of warrantee as there is so many variables that you need to take into account before stating a potential resale value. If you are interested in EV take a look at the USA or European Market Nissan leaf have been on sale there since 2011 and I see Nissan leaf cars 2012 being sold on Auto Trader Nissan a few years ago did give owners the option to upgrade their battery packs if they wanted extra range or more power

You must know that when you approach lawyers they are always cautious and rarely come out with Slam Dunk 100% guarantee to win The short answer is yes there is a possibility. Obviously the fact that The Sun hasn’t named the individual in question makes it far less clear cut Mr Campbell said it would probably be difficult for the presenter to pursue a libel claim when the story first broke as “nobody would know” who the article was referring to. https://inews.co.uk/news/bbc-presenter-accused-photo-scandal-legal-action-not-named-the-sun-2470192

Sun has 'no plans' to publish further allegations The Sun has no plans to publish further allegations. We must also re-emphasise that The Sun at no point in our original story alleged criminality and also took the decision neither to name Mr Edwards nor the young person involved in the allegations. https://news.sky.com/story/huw-edwards-bbc-presenter-latest-police-teenager-explicit-pictures-12917955 The sun has the same get out of jail clause that the BBC and other media outlets use on a regular basis the article is published in the public interested

I assume you know that overstaying in Thailand for any amount is not a good idea currently Here is recent reports of people being arrested for overstaying 6 days or 9 days https://aseannow.com/topic/1288545-immigration-arrest-three-overstaying-foreigners-on-koh-phangan/ If you get arrested and the overstay is less than one year it comes with a 5 year entry ban last post of this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1289322-swedish-man-arrested-on-samui-island-for-75-days-of-overstaying/page/5/#comment-18168172 I haven't overstayed but I was asked different requirements from airlines flying to Malaysia flying one way from Thailand to Malaysia no requirement from airline for hotel reservation or outbound onward flight flying one way from Europe to Malaysia airline wouldn't let me check in unless I produced both hotel reservation and outbound onward flight -

BBC presenter sent abusive and menacing messages to second young person The presenter reacted by sending a number of threatening messages, which BBC News has seen. BBC News has been able to verify that the messages were sent from a phone number belonging to the presenter. https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-66165766

So what you saying is the BBC should have referred the matter to the police shortly after they received the complaint about a BBC presenter on May 18 rather than wait until July 10th before making contact with the police 18 May: A family member of a young person attends a BBC building to make a complaint about a BBC presenter 6 July: The Sun informs the BBC via the press office, of allegations concerning a BBC presenter On the same day the presenter is spoken to by a senior manager and then taken off air while the allegations are investigated https://www.bbc.com/news/live/uk-66159469

I do recall a few years ago where the BBC and South Yorkshire Police filmed a raid on someone private house in Sunningdale Live footage from a helicopter which took part in the raid was beamed around the world. repeatedly At the time the BBC legal team made a statement "on behalf of the BBC, Gavin Millar QC said that "XXXXX" position meant that he did not have a reasonable expectation of privacy." as XXXXX was a well known public figure He also stated "He went on to argue that the BBC reporter was "exercising a fundamental human right of freedom of expression". At the time the BBC line of defence was "The BBC is defending the case, arguing that there was a “legitimate public interest” in its coverage." Do you expect to see an similar raid take place complete with Helicopter on the BBC presenter that has recently been suspended
-
The director-general and the executive directors were informed and an incident management group was launched. The presenter was spoken to and once the complaining family provided material to the BBC, he was suspended and the police were contacted. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/uk-66159469 Clearly a difference of opinion between the lawyer and the BBC

The price war on EVs may harm interests of customers
vinny41 replied to Social Media's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Of the nearly 850,000 new cars registered in Thailand last year, only around 1% were EVs, according to government data. But between January and April this year, that proportion rose to more than 6%. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/china-led-ev-boom-thailand-threatens-japans-grip-key-market-2023-07-09/#:~:text=Of the nearly 850%2C000 new, rose to more than 6%. For some brands that sell both EV's and ICE I suspect they are not fussed on what you buy so long as its a vehicle from their Brands I suspect when EV's reach a total share of the market of 25-30% of sales that we will see a fightback from ICE brands a major cost cutting promotion to undercut EV sales EV price cuts occurred today in China GM cuts Lyriq EV price in China by 14% as market pressures intensify https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/gm-cuts-lyriq-ev-price-china-by-14-after-vw-discounts-2023-07-10/ -
