I for 1 am glad there will be no 24 hour curfew. Why becauuse most thais i see in Ubon are complying with the present curfew 10-4. 24 hour curfew. This only causes panic buying Geez we dont need that because many more Thais will starve to death than the virus will kill. As for that cop standing on looking for curfew breakers might be a great idea if you did the same thing for all the bad drivers On thai roads

surely up to the GOVERMENT to help money wise???!!!
But they spent billions on a sub that will never get used....and some tanks (I think) !!!
by the way I have NOT seen the SUB, has anyone else seen it??
You wont see them for 2 years because they have no crews to sail them Takes about 2 years to train them apparently

The army is in control of Thailand right? Therefore the army must accept responsibilty for Thailand. Next thing they will be proposing is that the Thai army must be expanded from 350,000 men to 700,000 men to cope. Then they can justify the 1400 generals they got. By the way has the Laos navy attcked Thailand yet ?Lol lol lol oops the Mekong River is nearly dry thanks to the Chinese building so many dams on it. No need for those outdated subs then

In Ubonratchathani. The people are doing mighty good and i praise the Thais for this. My wife runs a shop closes at 10 and she said the streets are deserted. I think the Thais are doing what they are told Most of them are Just afew idiots who are not but you get that in every country

Sadly he wont be the last one. The longer this goes on the more crime you will see. As they say "You aint seen nothing yet folks" Donald Duck said that by the way

We all agree they are crying poor. They have an army of 350,000 men and 1400 generals and 3 subs on the way . The big question is? Who is more imporant? Your people or military? Not a hard question is it? We all know? Yeah look out for Laos. There Navy is in the Mekong river right now LOL 2 sampans and a couple of canoes. Hope the Thai subs can stop them?

Yep the army should shine in getting out in the streets imposing a curfew. Thay have had lots of practice at it 2014 ring a bell to anyone

Why are some local Governors issuing these orders now, if the figures issued by central Government are correct including the claim that the virus is plateauing? Where is the PM? Most other nations have daily broadcasts by leaders or top politicians on the current state of play, but not Thailand!
Buying more subs

He has been very quiet of late, his last outburst was too much for some to tolerate, I think he's been told to take some "home leave" as he was feeling "stressed" from all the health issues!
Perhaps he should go back to building roads.
Dont wish he go back to building Roads. Thai roads are bad enough and just recovering after he left

2 more deaths from virus. 62 more dead on the road. Thailand has 2 problems Not 1 But one of the problems they will never do anything about. Both in my mind are very serious problems
-
Sure they will drop some aircraft. The only thing they wont drop is there salaries. Thai airways was in trouble way before the virus. So i guess in this case the virus willl help them save face and downsize there bankrupt airline.

Whatever happened to her? I heard she got asylum in the UK or something.
Yep she is safe. Got plenty of cash she stole off the Thai people and living in England But saying that she has plenty of mates in Thailand who do the same. They just have a problem with what Robin Hood stood for. You know Thai misunderstanding. Robin Hood stood for steal from the rich give the poor The Politicians here took it the another way Take from the poor give to the rich Total misunderstanding i can see. Honestly do you ever think the Thai population would ever get sick of being robbed? You think something has to give soon dont you?

I agree on this one.
There are idiots online of all nationalities spreading all sorts of stupid rumours, conspiracy theories, false outbreak reports, misinformation etc that could potentially go 'viral' (pardon the pun) and generate mass panic.
Yes, governments are not perfect and will make poor decisions, but the end game is to nip the 'Wuhan' virus in the bud.
Australia where I am stranded is the same with poor decisions made such as allowing infected ship load of people on shore causing mass infections. And airport border control not temperature testing anyone arriving (albeit not perfect method), etc etc.
Hooray mate i agree with you Some people like spreading stories to cause fear Yesterday a guy says to me we are in Lockdown nothing open Pigs <deleted> The supermarkets are open the transport is running The post office is open The banks are open weeks days Just non essential services are closed This talk causes fear So the minister is right what he says

Thai banks are 20 years behind the rest of the world in the way they trade. They love paperwork. You see one person walk up to teller to do a deposit. 20 minutes later they are still standing there You think they are buying the bank or something.Paper work Paper work

One good thing Covis did was save lives on the roads Songran. 49 dead from virus is not a lot compared to 60 dying on the roads every day. They still do nothing about 60 dying every day
