Bangkok Bank App Sending funds to UK
KannikaP replied to jasonr3255's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I seem to think that you CAN send THB to say GBP IF it is first converted into GBP , at THEIR rate, and then THEIR fees are applied. Try Dee Money. -

You can cut the Debit Card in half and throw it away. The account will still be active. And yes, Wise will still send money to it. -
workaround to install Win11 on 'Unsupported' PC
KannikaP replied to gamb00ler's topic in IT and Computers
So install Bluestacks, and ANY Android app can be installed and run. -
Exactly what I learned at hygiene/cooking course many years ago. But here, my Mrs cooks dishes and a pot of rice for the family first thing in the morning and it is left out on the table for folks to help themselves as and when they want. No-one seems to get any tummy problems, but I give it a miss. I heard that at KFC they discard any chicken over 4 hours old. A tub was left on the table for over 24 hours. At Thai fried chicken stalls, I wonder how long since it was cooked, and what happens to the un-sold stuff.

My Asus Vivo running W11 weighs 1.4 kg. Not the most inconvenient to carry as opposed to buying ANOTHER Chromebook laptop. -

Both a top-level Private hospital, and the local Government hospital asked me not to eat or drink 8 hours before a blood test.
-
Does drinking water really thin your blood down? And it is taken from an artery, not a vein.
-
What a load of baloney. Blood for testing is taken from ARTERIES.

I was told as a rule of thumb, that a conventional, old style 18000 BTU a/c takes 1800 watts when running, which is about 8.2 AMPS. It can take double that to start up, so 16.5 amps maximum.. Inverter models do not need the high current to start up. Your 30 amp breaker should be plenty. The breaker is there to protect the wiring, not the a/c.

The Police Box in my village closed down two years ago, closest is now 12 km away. Never had need to call/talk in over 12 years.
