Looked on the Debit Card app, and it says that PENDING means that the company from which I bought has earmarked the money but not taken it yet, but it has been deducted from my balance. I think (hope) it will be sorted this week. Lazada are onto it.

I recently made an order for about Bht 9k paying with Debit Card, then I cancelled it. The amount is showing as a Pending transaction on my card statement, and Lazada are 'looking into it and say it could take up to two weeks. I would have been better paying CoD.
I cannot understand why it is slower at weekends. When a transfer is instant, obviously no humans are involved. So why longer at weekend.
Just as a test, I transferred 150 quid from Barclays to Wise via online banking. Will take á few hours'. Why?
