  1. Wow, twice in 14 years is too often.
  2. I hope not, but the petrol car on the other side of the pump could cause problems if a leak occurs. Why don't you simply be a responsible adult, turn your engine off, put your ciggie out, or even better, stop smoking. Have a nice weekend.
  3. Will a Ford Anglia run on lead-free petrol? 555
  4. So will the Thai authorities have access to the UK and other databases with this information?
  5. I did say 'an intelligent person' so you are obviously not in that category.
  6. I would have thought that a Narrower aorta would be more dangerous
  7. We are off to there tomorrow, dealer in Phitsanulok. Thanks.
  8. I know this is off topic, but started with my finance quote for the Sealion. Went to Honda for a Wave i125, cash price 57900 plus registration and insurance, all in 61160. As soon as I mentioned finance, the basic price went up 11,000 before interest was added, at however only 1.1%. Still costing 80,000 for 42 months. Rip off eh?
  9. And in England's case, many more entering daily.
  10. Thanks. Yes this is because they add on the full 7.92 interest at the start, not taking into account the instalments you have already paid. 780000 + 7.92% = 841.776 divided by 48 = 17,357.
  11. I recently looked at a BYD Sealion, beautiful car, only Bht 1,040,000. A finance paper showed that with a 25% deposit of 260k, the interest rate would be 1.98% PER YEAR for 4 years, = plus 7.92%, leaving 780k to be paid at 17535 per month. Correct. Asking at a Honda dealer for a Wave i125 for my Mrs costing 60,000, they said 2% interest PER MONTH = 24% per year = 96% over 4 years. Payment of around Bht 1200 per month. Who's fooling who please.
  12. An intelligent person would turn off his engine whilst refuelling without being asked.
  13. If you stop at the pump so you can see the gauge on the it, the pipe is long enough to reach your filler, unless you have a 20 foot vehicle. Luckily for us Vigo or similar owners, the filler is halfway down the body, so easy to see the pump.
  14. I bet you're glad you got rid of that Morris Minor then. 5555
  15. If you always ask for Bht 500 or Bht 1000, you cannot be short changed.
  16. Just turn the engine off but leave the ignition on so you can see the gauge, and still listen to the radio.
  17. Is it not problems with R Royce as opposed to Boeing?

  18. I think this is the first time I have put a LIKE on one of Bob's posts.
  19. You can buy SIM cards from almost every phone shop, 7/11, Lotus etc. The card costs about Bht 50 and you top it up via phone app, bank app or one of those machines. At the airport, they will possibly try to sell you a rip-off tourist SIM. Of course a passport will do for ID, what else do you think will do?
  20. If driving in a straight line, does the diff not drive both wheels equally. Only when cornering, and one wheel is going further and so faster than the other, does the diff kick in.
  21. Would that not make it more susceptible to flipping, higher C of G and all that?
  22. This speaker, in a suitable cabinet, will go down to 23 Hz, so it says. Anything below about 40 Hz could be heard as just low rumble noise though. You would only need one of them in addition to your 8 inchers. But you would have to be careful about them interfering with each other's output phasewise. Low pass filter in the box too.
  23. So is it Travel Insurance, or Health/Accident cover.
