How about some DIY optometry (yes I'm in the right forum)
I think most Varifocal lenses now have three zones, all blending into each other. As I said in a previous post, I now have gone for just my long distance prescription, which is fine for PC and telly, and take them off for reading or phone. Seems to work for me.

Fake Tefal pan at Lazada?
I have just bought 120 Omega3 1 a day capsules from Lazada, and it says 7 days return allowed. How would that work?

An Idiots Guide to the Retirement Extension process at Samui Immigration Office
How can a Printer/Scanner scan both sides of a document without you turn it over? Put side 1 in your scanner and press COPY. Put the printed copy back into the paper feed upside down, turn the original over, and press COPY. Done.

Fake Tefal pan at Lazada?
OK, I stand corrected. So if the Spot does not change, the pan IS NOT genuine. A simple reply instead of the Confused and now this silly emoji would have been more acceptable, thanks.

Fake Tefal pan at Lazada?
Somebody put a Confused emoji on my reply. An aluminium or copper pan WILL NOT heat up on an induction hob. The pan must have some magnetic property such as iron or steel in order to work. Some Al or Cu pans have a magnetic Fe base welded on in order to work. OK?

Fake Tefal pan at Lazada?
No, but if I had bought a 'genuine' Tefal frying pan, and the Red Spot did not react as Tefal says it should, I would return it saying that it did not operate the way it should, possibly fake.

Fake Tefal pan at Lazada?
That's possibly because to pan is aluminium.

Fake Tefal pan at Lazada?
Why do pans have a red dot? It's simple. Inside your pan, you have an indicator that turns red once the ideal cooking temperature is reached. Before heating, the Thermo-Spot® pattern is clearly visible. As the pan heats up, the colour begins to change.

Last Will and Testament
I have used this, but changed the English one into Plain English instead of the way it is, repeating things over and over. Then I translated via Word, into Thai, got my Mrs to read it and she said all was understandable. Signed and witnessed by my Englis bro & wife on both languages. I shall never know if it is completely legal, but my Mrs will find out !

Fake Tefal pan at Lazada?
I have returned stuff to Lazada after obviously unpacking and trying them out. How else could you warrant returning it.

How about some DIY optometry (yes I'm in the right forum)
After years of using varifocals with long, computer and close areas, and paying a lot for some with Essilor lenses, I went for Zenni a couple of pairs ago, and I was amazed at the quality and price, and speed of delivery (1 week). Had several pairs from them since. After noticing that I had to bend my neck downwards in order to watch telly in bed through the top part of the lenses, I first raised the TV up on the wall, but did not look aesthetically good. So I ordered a pair with just the long distance figures from Zenni for £30 as they are single prescription lenses. I now only use my varifocals for very close work, as I can see the Sudoku on my phone if I hold it at arms length.

What is the current cost of 1baht jewellery in Thailand?
I don't know how long you have been out of Thailand, 12 years on AN, but EVERY gold shop displays the daily price to buy or sell Gold jewellery or bullion. And how often do you travel through Bangkok Airport? There are MANY.

Making a single story house into a two storey house.
Most houses here are all built on pylons, which support the roof and upper floors. The walls are non-loadbearing but still are laid onto concrete foundations in the ground. In the first 2 years of my 12 year old house, some minor cracks appeared, which were rectified by the builder who put it down to 'settlement'. Correctly. No further problems.
