Has anyone here filed tax paperwork with Thai Authorities??
From Mike Lister's Simple Tax Guide 10. Because you are Tax Resident, YOU must review your inbound overseas Funds Transfers each year to determine if they represent income assessable to tax in Thailand, nobody else will do this for you. Our current interpretation of the RD rules suggest that if your assessable income does not exceed 120,000 baht per year, you do not need to file a tax return (60,000 baht if your only assessable income is bank interest paid to you by a bank in Thailand). If your assessable income is over 120,000 baht per year, you must file a Thai tax return between 1 January and 31 March.

I found No 3 to be the easiest. But even so, a question like 'How many days between 6th April 2015 and 14th June 2023.......' takes some working out. (Putting the dates in Excel helps). And thankfully it came up with a figure of ZERO to pay. Any CGT must be paid within 60 days of disposal, and yet there are instructions as to how to go about reporting the disposal if it was BEFORE April 2020. ????

So you must be better educated than me and some other members here, Well done. No capital letters and inappropriate punctuation says it all.

I had to look at gov.uk regarding Capital Gains Tax. What a confusing, hard-to-understand load of bilge, and I am a well educated person. How a 'normal' person can understand their pages I fail to see, needing and pay for an expert to explain things in plain English. A bit like the forms needed to re-new your passport or get a UK Visa for your partner. Totally unacceptable, but what can be done? In plain English.........NOWT!

Document Requirements For Non-Thais Taking Domestic Flights
Does a Thai not have to present their boarding pass together with their ID Card? In your second paragraph, the documents/cards you mention are classed as ID evidence

Classic? This is an actor? pretending to be funny. Funny? I know I was brought up with The Goons, Round the Horne, Benny Hill, Monty P, the Home Service & Radio 4, so much really funny and clever humour. And then of course The Comedians on ITV. Now THAT's Classic for me.

And your sense of humour is non existent with such replies. (Oh, 'sOPHistcation knowS' by the way) Your spectrum of music is obviously different than mine. Flanders & Swann were so clever & witty. Look them up on You Tube. Paved the way for Fascinating Aida etc.

I Agree............see no emoji, it's ME!- Rats
I guess that spray is what the car wash guy used. My truck is used daily so hopefully no problems.- Rats
Thank you. Fortunately, my 11 year old Vigo has never needed anything fixing in 230,000 km. Always go to main dealer, and of course, pay over the top. But the results speak for themselves. Just examined under the dash. No evidence of rats. Whhhew. Bang Rakam is up near Phitsanulok.- Rats
Thank you for the advice.- Rats
Of course they were. Car cleaning and servicing are jobs restricted to Thais only.- Rats
Took my Toyota Vigo for car wash yesterday, under, inside, outside for Bht 200. However the guy said there was evidence of RATS under the bonnet (hood), sprayed it, and told me to leave it open all night. Charges an extra Bht 100. The previous week the truck had been to Toyota main dealer for it's 230,000 km service, and no mention of any form of rodents on the vehicle, only that it needed a new battery, which was only 1 year old. In proper English it would be 'The issue at HAND '. Or should this be in the TOSSER thread. 555 OK, Ezzra, no more Tit for Tat. Cheers. - It seems that this forum has many members who's intellectually challenged
