show me the words in your Health Insurance policy that say's pandemic's not covered? Now a Travel Insurance policy is different and can exclude pandemics, but for a regular health insurance carrier I will believe it when I see it.
Just checked mine. Covered. AETNA, bought inside Thailand. Health ins.

As the subject keeps coming up about Insurance coverage I just checked my health insurance policy, purchased inside Thailand. AETNA and there are no exclusions for pandemics, corona virus, new viruses etc. and I have coverage if needed.

Guess the ones that survived the infection and are now immune should be welcome.
Proof of immunity: 2 test results - 1st positive, 2nd negative.
What are you talking about? There is no immunity. This isn't the chicken pox. It simply means you currently do not have the virus.

Quite honestly, we know that Governments can grind the world to a total halt, and they have.
Fair enough, I wonder if they can judge when to turn it back on?
Tourism is now zero. Trade shipments are curtailed. And its very bad.
What are the parameters to start back up? that is what I want to know.

Thailand's MRT and BTS are absolutely awesome systems the cleanest in the world, safe, and efficient. What shall I compare to? London? NYC? Sure not as large, but do people here really want say they think MRT and BTS are run by idiots? Obviously not people who ride the trains here, or if they do and are unhappy, they have never experienced being an everyday train rider in Manhattan.

No problem it refers to the process where investment banks and other entities such as hedge funds create instability in the world by creating a multitude of financial products, processes and services which are engineered to make them as rich as possible whilst diluting the social nature of capital and 'normal' investment. It's money making money rather than money making things. Essentially these guys are parasites on the normal productive nature of society and yet they are the richest guys on the planet. When the dust settles they will be targets as the scramble to defend their ill-gotten wealth. They will fail.
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/financialization.asp
Understanding Financialization
In the United States, the size of the financial sector as a percentage of gross domestic product has grown from 2.8 percent in 1950 to 7.9 percent in 2012. Financialization has also caused incomes to increase more in the financial sector than in other sectors of the economy. Individuals working in the U.S. finance sector have experienced a 70 percent increase in their incomes relative to workers in other sector since 1980.https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/the-great-american-bubble-machine-195229/
But this is it. This is the world we live in now. And in this world, some of us have to play by the rules, while others get a note from the principal excusing them from homework till the end of time, plus 10 billion free dollars in a paper bag to buy lunch. It’s a gangster state, running on gangster economics, and even prices can’t be trusted anymore; there are hidden taxes in every buck you pay. And maybe we can’t stop it, but we should at least know where it’s all going.
The italics come from your links? Why do you do that when you post the links?
So you are opposed to forex trading? Commodity trading? You draw the line on certain derivitaves or all? You are against futures trading? Stock trading on puts? Day trading for short term profits? Against trading options? Paper gold?
Others are not opposed.
I don't see this instability you are talking about. Its what people wish to do. It's not only done in the USA, it's done in London, Tokyo, Sydney, etc.

Do you only vilify socialism and communism with this description of change, or do you also include fascism and democracy, as those too, have been enabled thru force.... most change is, right... including the system you support, or have you forgotten about the revolution? Lol... any of them.
Im supposing not, or your point would be self defeating.
My understanding of the 20th century is that attempts at socialsm/communism went very very bad.
Fascism, another attempt from the left, that likwise always morphed into totalitarianism.
As for Democracy, this is what is precisely extinguished by these systems, although if you read the writings of the proponents of these systems they always claim to be the best examples of Democracy.
I suppose ultimately your pitch is that all the other attempts were failures because they just didn't do it right, and we should give it ago once again. No thank you. I have nothing but contempt by the way for those who owe everything in their lives to capitalism, but are so unsatified with their own results, compared to others, that they decide that taking from the most successful will make everyone's life better. Not gonna happen.
Throw all the insults in the world, your revolution gets smacked down everytime!

And I read: "The president’s political instincts, which have been demonstrated to be acute on many occasions, "
555 Please forgive me when I didn't read any more of that BS.
Are there really people out there who believe that kind of <deleted>? Really?
A bit of an obvious deflection which is so much so as to make me laugh! Let me get this straight: Your rebuttal to the argument presented is to quote a half sentence from a non-related article having no bearing on your own position. OK, no further comment needed. Goodnight!

Nothing will change the working people of USA will wake up one day but it will to late ,, stooopid idiots
It isn't very nice to call average working Americans stupid. Are you American? Consider yourself an elitist above the mass? Or from a far superior Country on this planet yet obsessed with American politics. Which is it? Where you from?

I think that global leaders are doing the best they can. Their collective wisdom is better then mine. So many experts, 2nd guessers, and conspiracy theorists, posting here. Mostly blaming for political purpose, or general hatred of Thai, or Thai gov, or of President trump, and to lessor degree other global politicians.

You are welcome.
Maybe you can used your wisdom to help those other 60 million Americans who still have difficulties understanding these terms.
Or maybe they just can't read. Or maybe they can read the words but don't understand what it's about.
I know it's a huge task to do that but maybe you can help them. Thanks.
Sorry man, they are all busy with far more important things then trying to plunge the world into a dystopian darkness hinging on oft repeated failed ideas. Talk to the Chinese about it, or North Korea. They are in to this sort of thing. They claim it quite successful.

You do have a flair for drama! Trump will cruise to victory, Biden is doomed by his international money grubbing, which will be a slow drip of ugly obviousness!

WHAT?
They are both the same, really?
Socialism CONVINCES people and Communism FORCES people....
So...apart from you, having no clue what either one is and that neither Nort Korea, nor the USSR (or others) EVER practized Communism more than calling their facist state by that name: there is no difference, if people are CONVINCED about or FORCED INTO a polital system?
Man...seriously...
It's a rather convenient way to excuse the death toll and overall failure of socialism or communism (the terms appear on slogans interchangeably by states identifying with either term) to say that communism only exists in the theoretical. Therefore, all failed attempts at this madness can be explained away for their totalitarianism only. But it is the idea itself that leads to totalitarianism!
An idea that at its heart takes away from one man, by force, to give to another. The wielder of that force are those who have decided to make it so. To remake a world in a way they decide. Force is always their tool!

It's funny. On the one hand you are going to support Biden because you don't want another 4 years of Trump.
On the other you think he's going to need a lot of luck to do it.
Don't you think that most Sanders supporters will ultimately come around to supporting Biden because the alternative is just too awful to contemplate.
Or do you think your case is special?
That will be the unanswered question going in to November, can sleepy Joe bring out the vote. My guess, is that heading into the election we will see so much Barack Obama on the campaign trail it will look like he is the one running

Trump is a demagogue. It may make you feel better to call those who voted for him ignorant, but it does nothing to help understand the situation. Trump voters aren't ignorant. They are being influenced by a very powerful personality who has chosen a highly sensitive subject on which to divide the American public. If you want to beat him, you have to understand the emotion he has tapped into. Biden is simply incapable of doing this. He represents exactly what those supporting Trump are rebelling against.
Once a demagogue emerges, you have to do something drastic. Wars and coups are not unusual. Ask the ancient Greeks who coined the word and basically concluded democracy was an ineffective form of government when confronted with an individual like this. It is possible to remove the demagogue democratically, but only by addressing the underlying issues the demagogue is exploiting.
Biden is the kind of politician that caused people to vote for Trump in the first place. It is sad the Democrats learned nothing from Hillary.
Yeah Trump put a spell on me!
But..let me give you the truth. The policies of the democrat party, and their hideous twins the neoconservatives hiding in the GOP frighten me.
I would vote for a mannequin with a name tag over any Democrat candidate, provided his VP was a real paleoconservative, espousing anti globalist, nationalist isolationist leaning policies!
The personality called Donald Trump just happens to be pushing a basket of policies that I support, that doesn't scare the living daylights out of me!

I find it almost funny when some people like to show off their ignorance regarding socialism and communism.
Did you watch too much right wing propaganda? Or are you in general uneducated and ignorant?

Thanks man, I've been searching the internet for months trying to find the answer to that often asked and ever puzzling question that often gets tossed out by the amazing intellectuals on the left. If only I had the wisdom to search wikipedia.
Thankyou. I've got them written down and ready to use should someone dare question my knowledge of socialism or communism the next time I accuse some old half wit socialist of being a Trotskyite!

I admit this caught me unawares, although I never paid much attention to the polls. I thought Biden was appearing sufficiently incoherent enough to secure his failure.
Surprisingly, he has done quite well, and even more surprisingly Bernie looked like he was the one in need of meds during the last debate.
The appearance of Obama at Democrat convention will send Biden off to battle on a huge high for sure. Off to the sunset soon for Bernie.

There is no vaccine. You dont become immune by getting a case of this. You can get the flu again and again. Just like this.
