  1. I bought the Rebonding kit myself from a local Beauty shop in Pattaya and got my friend to do it for me.

"My friend" hahaha Ohhh come on...Give me some credit and just admit that I'm a brilliant hairdresser.. :D

OK OK Meg, your Boyfriend did it for me, and you helped. :D

Seriously though, if you can get someone to do it for you who is trustworthy, you will save a lot of money for the same job done.

*UHUM* Actually, to save time, we did half of your head each.. So just admit it.. That we are both brilliant hairdressers :)

Back on topic: If you do decide to do it yourself, get 2 people to help as you must be fast and can't leave it on for too long.

  3. Maybe you should try the hair salon on 2nd floor Carrefour. I have heard a lot of good comments about that Salon. Also try in the new Central mall. A lot of professional looking hair salons in there but never heard any feedback on them.

I did mine myself at home (BF helped me do it! LOL) Because I do not trust any salon touching my hair. Mine turned out great. This was over a year ago now, and I am planning to do it again soon this week because I have wavy roots! Having my hair re-bonded was definitely one of the best things I have done to my hair. I love it :)

If you go to a Salon, Expect to pay around 3-5,000 baht. Me, I bought the solution myself, and needed 2 packs since I have long hair. Total cost = about 600 baht. :D

    Good Luck!

  4. Hope you find a nice home for him soon!

It's so nice to see such kind hearted people. He looks such a cutie and I'd love to help but my house is already beginning to look like a zoo!

I recently had to do the same and take in a Soi dog because the people who used to feed her moved house and she was left in the soi hungry and had no where to go. She'd come crying for food every night and had no where to shelter from the rain.. Now, She's learnt how to jump through our gate and she's made herself at home in our front garden. Since we have been taking care of her, her fur has become thick and long, and shes becoming quite fat! Looks like a different dog :D

Ahh, Im such an animal lover, and proud of it :) Good luck and let us all know how it goes! :D

  5. Never had the pleasure to try on of these delights in LOS, they look like they could come with a guarantee of food poisoning.

You should give them a try... Been eating from the Kebab stalls for years and never been sick from them.. I know a lot of people who eat them often and never heard of anyone getting food poisoning from them.

  6. OMG, groan ... who took my Sunday ... I can remember Beergarden and Blues Factory, then a visit to the ice bar and after that things become a bit hazy. I vaguely remember being in Secrets and FLB ... wonder where else we were ... and have no recollection of how we got home either... What a party!

...and I told you NOT to follow KDF's deviation from the official trail...som nam naa... :D

Myself and Meg also followed KDF, he bought us shots in the Ice Bar...

Ooh ooh yes, I remember that white chocolate flavored shot! mmm aroy maak! Thank you again KDF.. I don't remember much after that shot.. But I remember Pattaya_girl dragged me to a bar down 3rd road.. :):D

Raro - you missed out on all the fun! :D :D

  7. P.S. Raro, I didn't read your card when you gave it to me, it was too dark, laughed like a drain when I got back to the hotel though.

Me too!!! Hahahahaaa, I didn't read it until I got home! :D :D

Liar !! You read it out to me as you were downing the Sausages !!!!! :D

:D Ok ok clever clogs... Its all a bit of a blur with all the free beer... But Ok ok, I didn't read it when Raro gave them to us and couldn't remember exactly when I did read it...

    Happy now? :)

    :D :D

  8. (examples, just last week the police found a foreigner's head hanging from a major bridge in Bangkok......

Huh? Case 1 was imho weeks or months ago and a suicide.

No time to look it up for you.........but the head from the bridge was recent........

Sorry but the head hanging from a bridge WAS months ago.

    http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/1213...rom-city-bridge

around 22nd February to be exact, Almost 5 months ago... Definitely not last week.

  9. Also need to thank Monty (Eric) for the work he put in organizing the party. Well done. :D Also, how did it go at "The Blues Factory". I was the first one there at about 2130 and there was no one there. Hung around at the bar outside "The Blues Factory" so I could smoke and had one Jim Beam and Coke. The reason I only had one was because in normal Thai style, no customers so overcharge, it cost me 130 baht for a Jim Beam and Coke in a small glass! :D That is with NO atmosphere at all and unresponsive 2 Thai's that work there. It was only 80 baht for the drink at "The Beer Garden" and loads of atmosphere. The rest of you guys had just started to show up at around 2200 and Mary also showed up to sing about 5 minutes before that. Instead of going back inside, I stumbled off to the hospital for treatment of the heart attack I had after receiving the 130 baht bill for one drink! :)

So how'd the party go after you guys showed up?

We arrived at the Blues Factory at around 21:40 and everyone followed shortly after that and the place was almost full not long after, although we left at around 23:30 so no idea how it was after that but it was great the time we were there.

  10. Interesting story, Thanks for posting.. Lucky the guy didn't plant something on you.. Sounds like a dangerous trouble maker who we need to watch out for :)

Luckily, It seems like hes only interested in guys, So I'm safe :D :D

  11. Meg,

is the Shabushi in the Pattaya Central...and how much baht for all you can eat ???

    Yes!

Its in the new Central mall on Beach Road.. I think its somewhere around 270 baht for all you can eat and drink (not including beer though! ha). It certainly works out a lot cheaper for us than eating at MK. Hope this helps! :)

  12. I used to be a regular customer of MK, however, I have never stepped foot in the place since 'Shabushi' opened in Central. Similar style of food but Shabushi is all you can eat. MK can get pretty expensive if you are to fill yourself up there.

  13. Aww meg, I thought this thread would have been hot by now, everyone excited ect.....

I hope a lot will turn out on the night.

Come on lads, don't be shy now !!!!! We gonna party hard :)

:D You've started the drinking early, haven't you?!

    :D

  14. Me! Me! Me!

    Sign me up!

I think name badges are a really good idea too, so that people who have never met any other members before, can easily see who is who..

The more people who come, the better.. C'monnn everybody! :)

  15. Maybe I can do one in the near future with a buffet etc.

    :D

Great, let us know where and when, and i will iron my Dress ready for the event. :)

No need to be formal - the dress is not necessary!! :D

    Now now Brit. :D

    :D :D Oh dear!

Would love to attend another TV party. Sounds like fun if we could get enough members to attend!
