    - Book a flexible return-ticket and after arrival in Thailand change the return date from prior to the 30-days to the actual date you want to return.

I was worried about that last november since I entered Thailand on visa exempt then later asked for  a Non-O visa then extension.

I had a flexible return-ticket but Air France told me that I did not need to change my return flight (which was 6 monts later) and that, in case there would be a problem when checking-in, I could easily ask for a change at check-in counter or just call Air France to have a change made immediately. This is what I did and I wasn't asked anything at departure airport.

I didn't want to change my return flight if not necessary.

Even if my ticket was flexible, there were fees to change 2 times.

  2. When checking-in this morning, I told KLM staff that I had a Buddha in one of my suitcases with a license from Fine Arts Department.

They registered my baggage and I then brought them myself to the Oversize Baggage Check-in where they were scanned in front of me.

Had they ask me something, I would then have shown them the license.

    They asked nothing.

Better to follow the rules, as I did.

French inefficiency at issuing passports to their citizens is not the UK's problem. Maybe if they weren't all rioting over pensions it wouldn't take so long?

If they are only staying 2 nights it's no great loss. They can go to Estonia if it's so difficult to produce a passport.

It was just an explanation. After Covid-19 there was on rush on passports.
No need to get upset about it.

And with comments like yours, do you think it makes one want to go to Great Britain? I have never been there and have no desire to go there.

    Wouldn't call it a queue.

At DMK it's an office immediately other side of passport control.

Most times the office has zero people waiting.

    BKK might have a couple.

    Doesn't take long.

At BKK they even provide an optional service (fee 200b) and they do the paperwork and photo.

I was speaking of a second queue in case I buy a re-entry permit when I get a new extension. Not the same immigration officer, so I guess I would have to queue a second time for the re-entry permit or make 2 appointments both for extension and re-entry permit, planning plan enough time between both appointments

  5. Hello,

Yesterday I bought a multiple re-entry permit at CW while reporting for the 90 days.

I was not sure whether I really needed a multiple one.

My question : Had I bought a single re-entry permit, would have it be possible to buy another one (single or multiple) after using it before the expiration of my current extension.

Up to now, I always bought mutliple but never needed more than a single one. I bought a multiple re-entry permit just in case.

If possible to buy a new re-entry permit when the current one has been used, then no need to buy a multiple one is you do not expect to need it more than 3 times (3800 bahts for a multiple re-entry permit and 1 000 for a single one)

    Thanks

It should also be noted that the online 90 day reporting system can not be used if a foreigner is completing their first 90 day report, nor can it be used to complete the first 90 day report after receiving a new passport.

Hello when you leave Thailand then come back, is the report made 90 days after your entry considered also as a first 90 day report?

Is first report after new annual Extension considered as a first report too?

    Thanks
