Not sure where you got that. I am in favor of individual homesteaders building things that r are more attractive. This is my homestead based upon a Balinese villa. It is small. It is unrestricted in Hancock county WV. Alll land for residential applications should be inrestricted.

The zoning laws are why we have a housing crisis in Florida specifically and the USA in general. Let the small guy build on his own land. If there is an endangered or threatened species the town helps move it, or the state offers a trade. You can not camp on your open land there and a I get that. It would become some dystopian landscape full of campers and junk. Anyway I would campaign based upon land rights. I am sure some of the people living in Thailand that read this would love that concept.
