Yeah way more times than you have. Several times this past week as i am building. You are exaggerating based upon stuff you have only read on the internet. When is the last time you were in a Home Depot parking lot if ever? Now please provide evidence of your claim that illegals do most of the trades work in the USA.
-
Do you have anything that backs up the claim that most of the trades are done by illegals? I have done many projects over the years and have never hired a single illegal to do anything for me. Is it truly your assertion that more than 50% of trades jobs are done by illegals? Maybe in some states that is true.

The left is absolutely in love with what amounts to slave labor. Those brown skinned people toiling in the fields to provide cheap avocados. Not insisting on them learning English is like when the slave owners used to prohibit slaves from becoming literate. The only solution to it all is keep picking avocados. If you didn't know as Schumer so eloquently explained guacamole is made from avocados.

The problem with the dems is they call people all kinds of names and spew vitriol. Some of it may even be justified. However they used to take about being professional and preserving decorum and keeping up appearances. They have completely lost it. Their messaging and image is so terrible. It was so bad they tried the less is more approach and tried hiding. That actually was probably the best thing they could do. When all you do is rant like some lefties here do people lose interest and once they do they don't regain it. Some people have 3 decades and 100K post counts that could be reduced to about 6 posts. The acting out at the speech didn't gain the dems support. Nobody can even name a dem policy that they really like. They have talking points but nothing behind them. I know it is like that on both sides. However when you are out of power the onus is on you to prove yourselves. The fact that Trump got a second term is entirely the fault of the inept dem political apparatus. There is nothing that happened at the speech that gained even a single new normal persons vote. They seem unaware that the only people more unpopular than Trump is they themselves. People are sick and tired of all the crying all of the time. Get back up put together a party and do something. These silly signs and outbursts do nothing at all. If this is resistance expect to lose every time. It's like in the movie Tombstone when Wyatt takes the dealers chair and slaps him and asks "are you going to do something or just sit there and bleed?"

US Economy Races Ahead While UK Struggles to Keep Pace
Cryingdick replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I am talking about Joe Schmoe that simply wants to build a 1,200 sqft house for less than $250,000. It can easily be done and strong for around $50,000. I am not suggesting regulations should be cut for big developers. They already get around them or just buy their way out. I am saying let the guy who has a few lousy acres build his own home however he wants to. You can make it so if it is deemed to unsafe that it can't be sold without giving notice, doesn't qualify for insurance or mortgages or whatever. Take Thailand and apply Florida or California law in a place like Isaan. You would have an instant housing crisis. So long as you don't harm other people with your land use such as having a septic system or even a holding tank you get pumped out they should leave you alone. It is to a certain extent that the big developers love these laws because they get around them, build deed restricted communities and swallow up the land. That doesn't help anybody or save endangered species. For the rich there is a variance permit for anything. America was originally built on the idea of anybody can homestead. Back in the day the sodbusters lived in holes in the ground. People let them do what they wanted to. It's how we were able to progress across the west. America has plenty of land there is no excuse for the price of housing being this high. -
Ukraine’s Fate Was Sealed Long Before Aid Was Cut

I agree about not fighting a war forever with no end game. However I remember the narrative being when it started was, Russia would take Kiev in a week or less. The world was surprised he didn't storm in and conquer it quickly. Now they are saying the Russian army is pathetic, because it is. The fact is that in three years Russia has had little to no progress. There is not a single military advisor anywhere that is impressed by the Russian army. It doesn't matter because of the nuclear card. The west can't really truly attack Russia. -
US Economy Races Ahead While UK Struggles to Keep Pace

The reason I made the post in that tone is the fact that you just had to make out like my reason for the FEMA thing was that I am somehow evil or uncaring or trying to do people harm. It wasn't a reasonable critique when it would be something people do to ease restrictions. If they didn't want to they can do it the old way and go through all the regulations. You seem happy that people are unable to build being kept safe for their own good by the local councils. There are hundreds of thousands of people that could afford to build a house with cash if they didn't make the costs insane. -

That is also happening. However my point about them making the land you own unusable stands. Somebody with money can destroy an entire area with condos and the average guy can't build a modest shack. They always cite safety and hurricanes. That's why I suggested you could sign something saying you would not seek FEMA help. It would take the excuse of the taxpayer having to pay for shoddy housing away. There are tons of people trying to jump through hoops to build a small home or tiny house. They should let them. There is no reason the USA needs to have a housing crisis. Unfortunately it is at the local level. It varies by county. Basically they are making something that could cost $50,000 into something that costs over $250,000 at least it isn't California where they were building studio boxes for $500,000. -

Okay the alternative is to blow people and sell crack in the Walmart parking lot. I am suggesting you open land to lower income people that has been made impossible through imaginary rules. FEMA only pays $750 these days you arrogant knob. -
It isn't specific to Tesla. All American car makers are facing a huge problem if cheap Chinese cars are the new norm. Watch the tariff tweets and people trade based upon it these F GM will go up and down. Volatility is your friend. It is the only reason to invest. It goes up it goes down. Otherwise there would be no opportunity. I traded Trump's tweets last time and will do so again.

UK Chancellor Plans Multi-Billion Welfare Cuts to Balance Budget
Cryingdick replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Somebody is trying to avoid a credit downgrade. That's a good thing. -
People get idiotic when they start posting about the stock market and using charts. Tesla is doing terrible. It is only up 21,153.13% since it was listed. As far as Buffett isn't he one of the evil billionaires that steals the candy right out of your babies mouth? Libs sure are scitzo when they talk money.

North Korea’s First Tourists in Five Years Share Surreal Experience

It sounds like not much has changed in 5 years. Tour sounds identical to those I have seen on YouTube and other media over the years. I don't think many people do it twice. -

It always comes when you artificially restrict construction. In the UK planning permission is insane. In the USA it has gotten just about as bad. I have some land in Florida and am only allowed to camp on it 2 weeks at a time. Before i get a building permit I need a complete impact statement and inspection. It's fine but land is very cheap here and there are people sleeping in parking lots. If you have land you should be allowed to do what you want as a small land owner. In West Virginia for example I was given a building permit for $3 with a simple hand sketch not to scale with an approximate square footage. They said they would just come measure later. I get hurricanes and disasters but they are so worried you might lose your house that you can't afford one in the first place. Make a stamp for hurricane compliance and that can be mortgaged and insured etc. Make a zoning designation for others that want to build simple structures and have them sign a paper they wont ask for FEMA assistance. If you want to stay in a camper for example you need to dispose of sewage and maybe you should sign a paper you agree to evacuate if there is a storm. I have a camper and will simply move it if a storm threatens. The zoning bodies should be there to help you navigate the process not hinder you from making yourself a home. In Laos I was in a typhoon one time and read 2,700 houses were lost. I laughed because many were just bamboo huts that were rebuilt while having a party and drinking Lao Lao in less than a day. The problem is by design and intentional. Can you imagine General Washington showing up and saying he had found a fine camp for hunting in the winter? Sorry General we are only allowed to stay 15 days and if they discover that tortoise on the edge of the camp we won't even be allowed that. Even a tiny shed needs approval. I mean one with no floor and is like 4' x 6'.thats feet not meters, It has gotten crazy. The good thing is when i go through all the trouble it makes my place more valuable as many people don't have the skills or vision to pull it off. -

Nobody has 3 jobs. Some people do three different gigs but nobody has 3 full time jobs that is impossible. Somebody might drive Uber, do a couple days at Walmart or somewhere and sell things on Etsy. That isn't three jobs. Some people probably have 7 jobs if we don't take into account a day is only 24 hours. The other myth is people driving like 90 miles to work at. A fast food place that is also pretty much impossible. -
He is for practical purposes no longer the leader of Ukraine. He should be booking a ticket soon.
