Yes, I went to the bottom of the page and I downloaded the "User Guide" and I clicked on the "ACCEPT" button and nothing happened. The "Accept" button was grey and the "Decline" button was blue.

You didn't say that you ticked the box that says "I have read and fully ......".  Not ticking that box will cause the accept  button to be grayed out.  If you did tick it, it indicates that you need to try a different browser.

Why the Thai system needs to fingerprint all 10 digits is beyond me. Malaysia & Singapore seem happy enough with a pair of index fingers, that requires a single scan. Thailand needs 3 scans; 4 fingers right, 4 fingers left, and thumbs together. Trying to explain that in broken English to people who probably only speak broken English is just asking for trouble.

They should be shown just one finger!

And if you can’t afford to buy it, then stay in your own home country until the day you die. Forget about your dream of travel or living in the tropics.

Such people should not be even allowed to get on a plane or ship. Who do they think they are???

They are people who have the cash to pay for their medical care or are prepared to return to their home country for advanced care if needed.

This may be a difficult question to answer briefly, but do you need an agent to mix airlines like that or how does one do it? Thanks.

No agent needed.  You can use the airlines website or just use a search engine such as skyscanner.  I just booked a flight to the Philippines from CM.  Skyscanner made it very clear which flight combinations were code share/alliance flights and which were not.  On their website they will prominently list list non-code share flight combinations as "self transfer" and require two separate tickets.  In my case, I used Cathy Air Dragon flights with a layover in HK.  The flights were actually listed three different ways with a small difference in fares but they were all the same physical aircraft.  I actually booked directly with Cathy Pacific.  It cost me a couple of hundred baht extra but for me the convenience and peace of mind was worth it. Other search engines will list the "self transfers" differently but they make if obvious, in one way or the other, what the combination actually is.

Caution has to be used when using the "self transfer" option.  I was offered significantly cheaper flights with transfers in Hong Kong, Macau or Taipei but the layovers were in the 2 hour range.  The problem is that I would have to collect my checked baggage, go through customs and immigration then return through immigration and security.  I did not believe that 2 hours would have been doable.  With a single ticket code share, this would be a simple transfer and automatic baggage transfer.

  5. I am about to book a ticket through TPE.  Thai AirAsia and then Philippines AirAsia.  This has to be two separate tickets for some reason.  I have 2:39 to self transfer my checked bag and probably go through immigration and check in again.  Can I make it that time?  My other, nearly same price, option is a 9.5 layover with one ticket. Return is not an issue.

As you can see, US immigration is much like Thai immigration. However, US immigration might be harder and they don't explain why. Yet some knock Thai immigration constantly. Why?

Because once they are granted a visa, either immigrant or short stay, they are pretty much done.  With the immigrant visa, as long as you didn't commit fraud, you are pretty much done except for two years into a green card.  Otherwise, if on a time limited visa, you leave before your permitted stay and you are good to go.  The US does not have any TM28s, TM30s or TM47s.  Many years ago there was a simple mail in card that would have to be sent in for immigrants but that is long since gone.  Becoming a US citizen, once there on an immigrant visa, is pretty straight forward.

The difference is that a Thai visa is initially much easier than a US one.

Swiss Air and ANA were booked through United? How do you do that?

Could I do something similar with EVA?

It is a common code share..  Swiss Air and ANA flights were booked with United flight numbers.  Or, it could be the other way around. On flight search engines you will often see flights with the exact same times and destinations but different airlines.  These would be code share flights.  You have to do a bit of research to figure out who the actual carrier is.

EVA air is Taiwan based so it would probably be hard to find a code share through Europe.

They put my refund in a wallet but upon trying to use it they said farang cannot now have money in a wallet. I've had to send them a photo of my passport and the first page of my bank book. In fact I wanted the refund put into my wife's bank account. To have that done I also had to send them a photo of her ID card.

Been a month now and I've still not got my money refunded. Originally they told me a refund would take 7 days. Customer service on Lazada stinks.

If the wallet was never activated, would/could they still put refunds into it?

If the new address is "registered", then you/owner would use that property's username and password to file a TM30. If it were not already registered then you/owner could register it, and if approved, file a TM30.

Or you could file a TM30 in person or by the post.

To clarify, I was asking about the situation where you are already registered online and you move.  Do you have to register again using the new address or can the information be changed online.

I'm attaching screenshots below just to spread this useful info.

Thank you for providing the screenshots.  However, the last screenshot with the example is missing one column at the right which is on the actual xls form.  That column is the one labeled "Check Out Date" .  I still don't understand what is supposed to be entered in that column.xls.JPG.969eaba4bdfc4159d02ce4df9021b4b4.JPG

Those, visa type, country of passport, port of entry (00S07 is Suvarnabhumi, 00S08 is DMK), are detailed in the tabs on the bottom of the spreadsheet.

I would imagine if one files a paper TM30 in person or via the post, that you get the bottom-most portion of that form, with various garudas, stamps, signatures as your "receipt". Keeping that "origonal" seems wise. For those filing online or with the app, we're left with screengrabs. These are equivalent.

OK, I see in the tabs the entries for visa type and country of passport.  I do not see my point of entry anywhere which is CNX Chiang Mai.  And I am still unsure of the meaning of "check out date".  There are dates entered in the sample but I still don't understand their meaning.

  12. I don't know the format for three entries in the XLS file.  "type of Visa", I think they want a number filled in there and I don't know what numbers correspond to what visa type.  "point of entry" I know the airport that I entered at but what format do they want that information in?  "check out date"  What do they want for that?
