We have a tank app. 2 m above the taps in the bathroom (on one side of the house) and the outdoor kitchen (on the other side). Water pressure in bathroom is okay,

We have low pressure water (tank) also, filled from the irregular town water supply, thus when they turn off the water we don't run out.

Tank (1000litre) is a 4.5m AGL (3m above taps), works perfectly to the bathroom/showers.
Kitchen 10m away was a problem till I changed the pipe (from tank) to 20mm inside diameter, (25 OD) now it''s all good.

BTW if you can use 20mm ball valves all the better, ceramic valves have small openings internally which reduces flow.

With low pressure systems it's about flow not pressure, ie: how much water can flow through any given pipe, tap or fitting, if you're using 20mm ID pipe everything else needs to be 20mm ID.

Their only concern is you overstaying your permit to stay.

    This may be correct.

Many years ago I had a little drama departing from Chiang Mai.

I entered on a VISA EXEMPTION RULE 30 day, assuming it was a month (some are 30 days), but I was there for October, 31 days.

The immigration officer indicated I was 1 day overstay, I said I was here for a month, he just looked at me as if I was a stupid farang.

Got a stamp in passport which I assume translated indicated I had overstayed 1 day, no fine, free to go.

It's probably on their computer but not in my passport now as I have a new one.!

If OPs situation amounts to a 1 day overstay then I assume the same 'stupid farang' attitude would apply from the immigration officer.!

dont want to get rid  of  it Im trying to tame it.

Well maybe you could feed it just near the door, and the next day about 1m away from the door, and the next day 2m away from the door, and so on until it's far enough away.

Then keep feeding it in that spot, eventually it will be trained to just go to that spot for food and not annoy you at the door.!

Thought about using my 3.2 Wildtrack as a donor, but I can't buy the same standard new. Even an upgrade to a Raptor (to replace) gives the same (new) poxy motor and gearbox, along with an additional tax disadvantage.

The Ford Ranger PX1 & 2 (P5AT - 3.2 engine) and other variants are the best Fords Ford Australia ever designed.! (avoid the new 2 litre twin turbo - unproven and probably over blown)
Powertrain provided by Mazda, another positive.

Chassis strength compared to Toyota probably much of a muchness as they are the same thickness and about the same size.

The huge upside from my experience is the P5AT engine, being a 5 cylinder it develops smooth constant power by overlapping the power stroke, something lacking in 4 cylinder engines.

My friends '3D' Toyota is left breathing my diesel fumes from the start, put a trailer on and he's back in the quickly disappearing distance.

Just because one brand outsells another does not always make them better.

Too obvious. Banging a nail in so that the wires are short circuited would take longer to find and fix.

Ah but the nail would short circuit all the speakers, not just the one on that pole, guaranteeing that someone would eventually find it and fix it, whereas if just 1 of say 20 speakers in the village was not working any more, maybe they'd never bother looking.!

Sadly the longer test run resulted in the same error, plus another related error.

You may wish to check a little further.

There is an airflow sensor on the air cleaner, also another on the intercooler.

And another related problem is the exhaust gas recirculation valve.

To comply with pollution laws there is a large amount that is recirculated, this can be a problem as soot builds up in the intake manifold, effecting parts within the intake system.

Often improvements can be achieved by inserting an oval disc with 3mm hole between valve and manifold.

The restriction still recirculates exhaust gass, just much less, thus slowing (even stopping) things gunking up with soot, like you photo of the MAP sensor.

Thanks but that doesn't really answer my question.

How many ounces of coffee maximum for one pass through?

I don't know the actual maximum, it's personal choice.

I like strong coffee, so I use 3 tablespoons of grinds in the filter, that's more than normal, the water strainer just sits above them, so I suppose that could be very close to maximum, but there's no reason why you couldn't put more and hold the water strainer up after filling with water.

The purpose of the water strainer is to distribute the water over the grinds evenly.

Filling the filter with grinds and pouring water straight on to them doesn't work.

You could fill the filter with as much grinds as you want, doesn't matter if the strainer is sitting on them, just fill it with water and lift it up, then when the strainer is empty, put it aside and wait for the water to pass through the grinds.

You can actually fill the strainer, let that pass and fill it again if you're using a big mug.

I often refill it and let it pass into another mug for the other half, they say it's no less strong or less flavoursome then a first pass.

Compared to electric/stove top or plunge filters these are way cheaper so it wouldn't be expensive to try, but you'd probably have to do Amazon as I don't know anywhere in Thailand to get them..

What is the maximum amount of the end result coffee in ounces?

It's almost as much as you want.

Swiss gold is a two piece system with the capacity of about mug size (with milk).

Fill the filter (bottom part) with as much coffee grinds as you want, more for strong, less for week.

Fill the water strainer (top part) with hot water, allow to pass through and refill if larger mug is used.

Two full passes should fill one of those super size mugs, with a little room for milk.

I use soy milk at about 30% to 70% coffee.

One fill of the water strainer will fill a standard mug that has preheated soy milk.

I've not found a better system.!

    a nice cup of coffee

A very nice cup of coffee can be had with the 'swiss gold' (Freeling) drip mug filter/pot.

Similar to the Viet coffee pot but much higher quality and larger capacity, mug size not cup size.

Obviously it all depends on the coffee used, but I would go as far as saying the Swiss gold makes a better cup of coffee than any espresso machine, dripolator, perculator or filter pot I've tried.

Another upside is they are completely self contained, no need for filters, screens or plungers, need no electricity, and very easy to clean as the fixed micro screen traps all the grinds, you just upend it to empty then wash/rinse.

possessed by the Devil as she showers daily stark naked

    Who doesn't.?

Why would you in your own home not shower naked.?

It's weird not to, and if this is the influence FB offers it's not for me, I prefer reality.

And with a boarder outlook, who has actually seen the Devil, prove to me he exists, and for that matter prove to me that God exists.?

I can prove that man created god, can anyone prove the opposite.?

These are just human constructs, it's all in the mind, probably of the week minded.!

This doesn't really make sense.  Thai's are entitled to Thai passports, period.  The dual citizenship and other passport is not a factor.  Your "work around" isn't really a work around, it is simply how Thai citizens and passports are administered.  Any Thai citizen knows they need their ID card.  And to get a Thai passport you present your valid ID card.

This is just how my partners friend (Pornchai) works it. I don't profess to be knowledgeable on the subject. He is Thai, what makes sense to them does not always make sense to us.

I would assume one of the difficulties would be leaving your country of residence/nationality on that passport and entering the Kingdom on a Thai passport, usually immigration like to see a port of embarkation stamp, or read in the biometric chip.
