  1. And that is why you have the App. Never trust a Thai to do what you can do yourself.

And no I am not saying the buggers will rip you off but if they can not do the cancellation they will not tell you that.

My wife sees someone in uniform, has a badge, even a checkout chick and see goes to water.

    Sort it yourself.

As you wish. Your no doubt unsavoury comment, which appears to have been automatically deleted by those more responsible, appears to be pretty much alone on this thread.

Bankok Barry, the deleted word was not that bad and believe me I am being responsible in my intention of staying in this country for as long as I can.

Things are not that bad, yet, I have a Thai wife, daughter and a house we own, a block of farming land and life is good.

I have a Visa, extension and do not begrudge doing the 90 day report, TM 30 requirement or anything else the powers that be require of me, as yet.

What I do have a problem with is people representing themselves on my behalf, as an Expat, without my authority. I do not go around kicking hornets nests.

If people want to stay here legally it is still possable and not that hard to do. Maybe I am lucky or my paper work is up to scratch, we will see but please one and all, you will not win by fighting these rules. If you come across corrupt IO's, that is just part of living in this world.

    Do not panic.

    Regards

  3. Chiropractor , yes down Loh Kroh Road, across from Ramming Lodge. She sits with a group of girls doing foot massage and is cheap as chips.

Sorry mate I have little faith in chiropractors and am just having a crack. (Sorry)

Try a Thai massage though as sometimes some of these people can do wonders.

Some of the temples around town have good practitioners and also teach the art or whatever you want to call it.

Good luck fella, pain is not nice

  4. I could not give a Rats ass. I live in the village where all are asleep by 2000 hrs, or there abouts,

Where the hell did they dig these Ministers up from, dumb clowns.

Mind you, I wish I had there clout.

Saying that I sometimes liked to kick on in my younger days, not that long ago, but things did get a bit hectic as the night wore on.

Hope old mate has a good holiday. I think I would if I had my snout in the trough.

The meek are finding ways to inherit the earth. You can see it happening - put on BBC news and there will very likely be a female anchor talking to a female reporter interviewing females about issues arising from hurt feelings. Sometimes they are all from ethnic minorities. Every day they run 'news' stories about people apologising for this and that. It's blatant social engineering.

The movie industry has long been used to promote meekness, from the kindly presentation of Jews in early Hollywood, through Disney's default support of the underdog, to today's token inclusivity of all minority groups.

Is any of this a bad thing? Not necessarily, unless the existing culture is being attacked and forcibly replaced by outsiders seeking to erode that culture in order to keep themselves in their own comfort zone. Unfortunately that is actually happening in the west. And unfortunately that will produce self-declared 'defenders of culture' like Breivik, who was obsessed by Cultural Marxism.

I don't see much Cultural Marxism in Thailand, which in any case is in the grip of a right-wing government which, as we can see, is taking steps to prevent the erosion of local culture by keeping tight control on the freedoms of foreigners. Perhaps Thai men are getting fed up losing their women to foreigners, but that's nothing to do with Cultural Marxism.

That just about sums it for me also fella.

Too many bleeding hearts in this world and I personaly, have run out of bandages.

  6. Welcome to Thailand.

Coffee shop, a small one, watch it get smaller every day.

Mate. people sell old AC units because they are past their use by date.

Good luck and I am not trying to be a smart <deleted>.

  7. No a non-return valve at the pump will not fix your problem. If your foot valve is broken ie.. non return flap incorperated in the foot valve is stuck open then you need to replace the foot valve or repair same.
