  1. I can't now find any of my old posts (content). Appreciate some help where to now find them. Thanks.
  2. Has the forum search function and full list of past posts been removed? Or is it now accessed in a different process?
  3. where are all my previous posts/
  4. I'll add a few words in bold... ....allow entrenched corruption and the public (through their voting) have no hesitation to support the building of political family dynasties,
  5. Not all the rest, plenty more right wing news outlets. And yes, of course, some left wing news outlets.
  6. Interesting - three Thai grandkids continuously have colds / runny nose etc. Is this a packaged product available in Thai pharmacies?
  7. Note: Skynews (operates globally) is a wholly owned right wing news outlet owned totally by the Murdoch (Fox News) family.
  8. I have no doubt that you are correct and that in the near future he's repeat his claims that the election was stolen from him etc. Wonder if the my pillow guy got informed that trump has made a (another) statement that he did lose. Wonder where that leaves the my pillow guy, rudi and others in their various lawsuits claiming that the election was rigged etc., etc?
  9. Agree. He's been found guilty by a panel of well vettered jurors. All 12 of them found him guilty on all 34 charges. That part of the process is finished; he's guilty. Therefore what grounds are there to delay the announcement of his punishment? Let's have the punishment on 18 September as planned.
  10. Why would you assume that I have voted liberal all my life. In fact I always support workers getting a better deal.
  11. I never suggested that. There's probably folks who don't know members can select 'ignore' and /or need the details of 'how to ignore'. I made no suggestion that you don't know how to use the ignore function. Sorry If I offended you.
  12. I didn't, I've voted labour all my life, share the wealth, support each other ...
  13. And the easiest way to do that is to put him on your ignore list. How? Very simple, let your mouse float over his username, that will open another small document and near the bottom, right hand side you can see 'ignore'. Click on ignore, all done.
  14. And / or is the real Peter Smith still alive?
  15. Several times he's made criticisms about Aussies taking advantage of the OAP now he suggests breaking the law. He remains on my ignore list.
  16. And he also believed that he was smart enough to successfully stage deadly accidents and that so smart / clever nobody would discover his game.
  17. 'not really up to date...' Can agree with that. I've been through quite some pain to get my Social Security health benefits changed to the voluntary payments process after retirement (Section 39). Had to be done through the local Social Security regional office here in Chiang Mai. Local senior guy here is Chiang Mai (CM) asked for a copy of my visa showing the expiry date. I responded that I've had Thai Permanent Residence (PR) (for 27 years) which is for lifetime meaning it has no expiry date (but auto cancels on my death). Response from CM senior 'Thailand does not have PR but anyway send a copy with the expiry date. I called the Social Security hotline 1506 and eventually spoke to a polite pleasant lawyer in perfect English. She said she was not surprised at the comments from the CM senior office, because they receive no training or information whatever about any other aspects of Thai administration, policies, other ministries etc. She kindly called the CM senior guy and explained what PR is, it's for lifetime, no expiry date. I quickly then got an e.mail from CM guy asking for a copy of my PR book (expiry date not mentioned in his e,mail). Then fairly smooth sailing to get my membership changed to Voluntary Insurance / member pays every month.
  18. I've been on the 4 weekly international transfer of pension payments for many years, never ever had a problem. And I've always had very productive / polite calls on the Centrelink /Service Australia free call number. But a week back I called, the lady was polite but clearly lacking in even some basic information. I mentioned the 4 weekly pay cycle, her response was 'there's no such thing'. Then she claimed there's 'no process for Centrelink to send money abroad'. I politely disagreed saying that my pension entitlement appears in my Thai bank every 4 weeks. She, politely, finished the call saying 'I've given you the appropriate information I can't tell you any more'. There have been very long delays in gaining approval for the OAP and also mention from Centrelink re several thousand new staff. I guess I encountered a newbie still in the early stages of training because I did call back the next day and got an officer fully aware of the points above and very apologetic for the wrong answers I had been given the previous day. She mentioned she would report this to a senior officer
  19. Is his daughter an elected member of the party? Or is this just an old style attempt to create a family dynasty. Hope not.
