I don't worry at all because Prayuth has the situation 100% under control.

A 24 hour curfew but with specific times for people to all go rushing to the shops for food , ensuring the maximum numbers of people are in the same locations at the same time.
It worked in China. Only 1 person per household authorized to go get food every other day. Not sure if they can implement this in thailand.

Like it or not they will have to implement this when they realize that they lost control. Some countries tried a soft lockdown and they don't work.

Thank goodness we got back from the USA on Saturday night just before midnight!
It's closed to foreigners unless you are a diplomat or you fly the plane.

okay, okay...
But at which age are we old ?
I'm 71 old and when I cycle with my MTBike, a lot of young 40 year olds find it hard to follow me ..
In some article I read they say less than 5 years and over 70 must stay home.

Anyone know what the actual measures are? Is there any type of curfew from tomorrow?
Mostly curfew from 19:00-7:00.

Either the chickens are on strike or they've been given the lock-down order by big daddy.
Went out to buy a tray of eggs this morning, dark side pattaya, local shops-none, big market on Soi CountryClub-none, KhaoTalo market-one small stand nearly sold out and selling at 50% inflated prices.
Otherwise, markets not very busy, many shops closed, not all that much traffic, some people wearing coffee filters on their face, others not.
Some poster yesterday said that some doctor said that virus can't penetrative egg shell thus starting a run on eggs.

But besides that is there a word for ‘hurry’ in Thai?
Seriously, I can't understand how their numbers works. It might be done on purpose. ????

Has anyone seen official reports of the number of test conducted?
They might have the capability but their own report seem to suggest they are not in a hurry.

Edit: I see that they don't even bother updating their stats.

Even if heat and humidity slow down the virus, sharing a spoon and a drink counter that. ????

What a lot of old nonsense.
The labs bolloxed it up. Or 2 tests were ordered by some numpty in governmenst because he did not trust the testing labs to get it right.
It must have been obvious from the beginning that the numbers were wrong, I knew it and so did many others on TVF. It seems the only thing you can reliably expect from a Thai is still a foul-up. Situation normal.
As far as I I know many countries use 2 labs. The difference is that they declare them as presumptive case without waiting for the second test result.

Virus spreads through sneezes and coughs with water droplets. They don't fly off individually but in clusters.
The N95 would be able to stop the droplets of water.
There is a study that found that these mask do in fact stop particules much smaller than virus.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2662779/
"3M industrial filters were able to capture over 95% of particles down to 0.007 micron. That’s over 10 times smaller than the coronavirus."

Please tell me where can I buy N95 masks or even surgical masks?
Because all the pharmacies in which I asked are out of stock.
And I definitely won't buy any (maybe used) masks from unknown suppliers on the internet.
Try lazada. If you are desperate then multiple studies found that any kind of tissue/custom facemask is better than using nothing. Simply bring more than 1 and clean everyday.

No they won't stop (I wonder if they use a seatbelt even tho they may not work) but I can add some links.

But in my opinion the reason some government don't recommend using a mask is this:
"Recommendations on face masks vary across countries and we have seen that the use of masks increases substantially once local epidemics begin, including the use of N95 respirators (without any other protective equipment) in community settings. This increase in use of face masks by the general public exacerbates the global supply shortage of face masks, with prices soaring, and risks supply constraints to frontline health-care professionals. "
"Universal use of face masks could be considered if supplies permit."

Sorry to be pedantic. Lack of details as usual.
The corpse maybe. This is assuming all clothing and any bracelets, etc., have already been removed?
For example anything plastic that may be on the body can survive 72 hours if it has the virus on it.
I'm pretty sure they forgot to specify that there is a waiting period or desinfection procedure... It's obviously safe to be incinerated by the monk if it's already in a body bag and coffin.

In other news, based on averages there has probably been 3500+ traffic fatalities on the roads. Time to shut down driving and stay at home.
To put this in perspective it's only 3500 on a 69,000,000 population. Roads are perfectly safe!

So the virus can stay on a cruise ship metal surface for 17 days but instantly "die" with a patient?

"Thailand’s Ministry of Public health explained today that the sharp rise in confirmed Covid-19 coronavirus cases reported in recent days is due to new testing standards. In the past, two labs have had to show a positive result before a case was confirmed, but now a positive result from one lab is considered a confirmed case. The situation was explained today by Assistant. Professor Walailak Chaiyasoot said at the Covid-19 daily report press conference on Tuesday."
