  1. Yes it has, innocent people are not being dragged from their houses and executed for simply speaking out against the establishment. Can I presume that your board name indicates that you do not have a dog in this fight?
  2. Back in the late 90s there was a Swedish visa agent in Soi Cowboy doing just this. You left your passport and it came back 2 days later with a stamp of a one year tourist visa from the Thai consulate in Honolulu or Brisbane. ????
  3. Let's not mention that this 'innocent' megalomaniac cut loose his death squads, giving them a free reign to gun down there opposition/foes, allowing them to cut down innocent civilians who spoke out. Yes, let's brush that under the carpet and pretend that he was just doing it for the Thai people and not for his own purposes. Personally, I would prefer that he didn't come back to finish off his job of raping the country, a man with no boundaries when it comes to grabbing more power, but there again, I'm not in the habit of hero worshiping an evil self serving narcissist.
  4. OK, onto the final 2 free samples that BMT sent: Bubble gummer: This was a nice smooth smoke, which had a decent enough strength but the effect wore off faster than the previous 2 samples. It might have been my metabolism on the day but the buzz was milder than the earlier test strains and only lasted a couple of hours. About the same strength as the Green Crack that’s currently doing the rounds. Red Diesel: Unfortunately, this weed seems to be dead, could only get a very mild hit off this. Maybe the same strength of the brickweed that was floating about before decriminalization. BMT did state that this was old stock though. BMT put his reputation on the line and overall, he has some pretty decent weed. Would I buy any of it, probably yes for the first 2 stains (Tropical Punch & CheeseLicious) but that would be dependent on my stock levels and the price. BMT, out of these 4 strains, which ones did you grow yourself?
  5. Does anyone actually believe this propaganda? A mega expensive watch slips off your wrist and you don't notice until later. What a crock...............
  6. They should replace it with 'Cocaine Blues', no knife crime in that song. ????
  7. I've seen them for sale in Mae Sai and in Narathiwat. You should be able to find them available somewhere between.
  8. Damn, and I was about to send you some links.
  9. There are specialist websites for that type of activity.
  10. In the past I soaked my bongs/downstems in alcohol but there was always some residue, especially with 'complicated' bongs. My current system is to have back-up bongs/precoolers/etc. and pre-soak the dirty ones in a bucket of Milton's fluid (available on Shopee & Lazada). After a couple of days soaking, I then clean the bongs (etc) with MRP glass cleaner (also available on Shopee & Lazada). MRP really does a great job but you have to really shake the bottle before using, so that the abrasive 'grit' gets mixed into the solution.
  11. So if you don't like it, don't do it then, your business and not mine.
  12. I was amongst the first four posters to take BMT up on his offer and good to his word, BMT posted the sample, as promised. Well done BMT for keeping your word, glad to see that you are a man of action and that you can back up your words. I received them on Sunday afternoon. As I wanted to have clear head before testing each strain, I am only trying one strain a day. So far, I have been able to test two of the strains, so the reviews of the other stains will follow. Before I review, I will state that I am a daily smoker and have been for about the last 20 years but I am no connoisseur, I prefer weed that neither stink my man-cave out and doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg. As long as I get a relaxing chill off my smoke, I’m as happy as. I have bought a few top shelf strains from one of the bigger Bangkok stores when weed was first decriminalized but I was not too impressed. They were overpriced, over pungent and made me too lethargic. The Green Crack that is being sold cheaply online is enough to give me a lovely buzz. All of the tests were carried out on my ‘current’ favourite bong, with a precooler, both filled with Listerine straight from the freezer. My reviews are based on the samples that I have tried and are obviously my opinion only, what works for me does not work for everyone. OK, on to the review of the first 2 strains: Tropical Punch: The first one that I opted for was the Tropical Punch. I picked this first as it was Sunday and I wasn’t working that day, so trying the strongest strain on my day off made sense: The buds smelled fairly strong/dank and sure enough, it did stink out the man-cave. However, it wasn’t as stinky as some of the exotics I have tried and the man cave was after an airing, fresh again by the next day. I can’t really review the taste, as the Listerine in my bong masks the taste. After smoking a full bowl, the product started to deliver. It wasn’t the strongest smoke that I have ever smoked but it was powerful enough to give me a lazy, chilled Sunday afternoon. BMT states that this in his view is the strongest of the samples but after testing the first two, I would personally disagree with him. CheeseLicious: This was my Monday evening test. Again, this had the dank pungent smell that the top shelf has but like yesterday’s sample, this was also easy to air out. Within 2 minutes of hitting the bowl with this one, I was climbing to a great buzz. The buzz lasted a couple of hours, so after refilling the bowl, I was chilled again. Rinse, lather, repeat. IMHO, this strain is stronger than Tropical Punch. If I bought this from a shop, I would buy again, dependent on the price. In fact, if any of the other reviewers are not up to the task of reviewing their sample of CheeseLicious, feel free to forward it to me and I will review it for you. ???? Overall, I’ve had 2 days of being stoned for free and both strains put a smile on my dial. I still have 2 more tests to conduct. ????
  13. Have you tried Tam Jai? I know it's only 65mg but they are available everywhere, including mom & pop shops. I believe (but cannot confirm) that they are also available at 7-11.
  14. The residents of Koh Tao will be miffed that they were pipped at the post again. Heads will roll.
  15. A missing gun, eh? Sound like a plot line from a movie involving rogue policemen.
  16. It was not only the Bangkok Post running the story in Thailand and the Thai media certainly did not under react on the incident. It was reported quite quite extensively by the Thai press, by both Thai and English language newspapers. I was living here at the time, so I don't know if or how this was reported by the international press. However, it does have it's own Wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samut_Prakan_radiation_accident, which actually states 'The accident became a subject of intense news coverage'.
  17. 2 places? S<deleted>horpe and <deleted>nal? Oh. Lord, Scu nthorpe & Ar senal are swear filtered.
  18. Those red buses were sheer hell in the rainy season with no air con and all of the windows closed. IIRC there were only a few oscillating fans to cool the bus down.
  19. doofootball.com probably is blocked, never used it. The reason why I quoted 'doofootball.com' was just to reply to your post where you asked 'pp Guy What is DF please can not work it out thanks'
  20. I would imagine it would be a regional thing. Those that said they'd never seen it possibly come from more developed areas and bigger towns. I think that it was a time-line thing, if you weren't here at the time, you wouldn't have seen it. It was very common in Bangkok in the 90s, so not regional. It did appear however to be a practice of Isaarn migrant workers and not the locals. Ladies used to attach their loose bus fare to their clothes with an elastic band.
