  1. The problem is that I can see the point. In Thailand it is illegal to sell alcohol on certain dates, The law is very clear and everyone with half a brain knew that Tuesday (August 1st) was one of these days. If you break the law you could be prosecuted. Now, do you see the point?
  2. Well if you are so dependent on alcohol, go back there . Don't forget to pack you Chang wifebeater.
  3. did you remember to get your cannabis fix yesterday Yeah got my cannabis fix, but only because cannabis sales are legal yesterday. If it was against the law to buy cannabis on a Thai holiday, UI definitely would not do that. you'll be on the heroin next. Lol Wow, H is legal now? Anyone got any links to sites selling it?
  4. No, I am very much on point. Just because you don't like a law, doesn't mean that the law is wrong. If you can't survive for one day without your alcohol fix, you are the problem, not Thai laws.
  5. So your country has never had half day closing on Sundays? (also religious).
  6. Jeeez, seems like the alcoholics can't go one day without their fix.
  7. do NOT leave any valuables hanging about. Or horse sized vibrating rubber toys, or an industrial sized vat of KY jelly, etc.
  8. How so? It is his property and they are paying no rent. Where did the poster 'J Branche' say that his tenants were paying no rent? He simply stated that he uses his maintenance card to access his tenants property, there was no mention of non payment of rent. If you were renting a property, would you be ok with your landlord entering your property without your permission or presence? It is the owners business and not yours. I'm voicing an opinion on a forum in the same way that you are. Therefore, let me state to you, my opinion is my business and not yours.
  9. And that's not what was stated, He stated that he used the card to inspect the property. If the tenant was present, why would he need to use the card?
  10. And if the tenant is wrecking the place. If the tenant is wrecking the place, the owner should be able to go in and inspect the place but only with the tenant present. The poster stated 'As a landlord I use the Maintenance card to access and inspect my properties'. The fact that he is using his maintenance card to access suggests that the tenant is in fact not present and therefore, most likely unaware. Note that the poster did not mention any special circumstances for the illegal entry, just that he does this to inspect his properties. If you were renting and your landlord searched your house without you being present and without your permission, would you just accept this? I agree but this is not what the poster
  11. If the guy is illegally entering someones domicile, without their consent or knowledge, it's deserved.
  12. As a landlord I use the Maintenance card to access and inspect my properties. Are you stating that you let yourself into your tenants property without their permission? You do realize that even though you are the owner, besides being a douche, you are breaking the law.
  13. Then he would have to change his name to Bob 2-dogs Smith
  14. If I was the owner of that house I would have added lots of sexually related paraphernalia to the picture that was posted online. You know, some horse sized vibrating rubber toys, an industrial sized vat of KY jelly, etc.
  15. You should stamp down on this errant postie. Maybe tell Mrs. Smith and letter deal with it. Please do keep us posted on the outcome.
  16. the overall market value remains extremely promising, he stated. Of course it does, the new constants are death, taxes and smartphones. Markets will rise and fall but smartphones will not fall out of fashion, there's always someone who wants needs the latest model.
  17. My visits are free, through the Thai welfare system.
  18. Agreed, I have never had to wait for more than an hour whenever I have been to Thai government hospitals using the Thai version of the NHS (Thai welfare system). Always had good service as well.
  19. There was no facelift for the Ford Ranger in 2006, the 2006 (to 2012) Ford ranger was a new model. The vehicle that you have is the 1999 to 2006 model, it may be a facelift version but not from 2006.
  20. Yes, England is a declining country I left the UK 29 years ago and it was a very different place back then. If I go back to visit, by the end of my short trip, I am near enough Micheal Douglas in 'Falling Down'. I would never be able to live there again.
  21. I am reminded of the time the Philippine dictator did something similar Already happened here under the Toxic one but it was re-branded from 'thinning out the competition' to 'war on drugs'.
  22. From the linked story: police netted tangible assets linked to the illicit trade. Nine cars, 16 motorcycles, and 52 firearms, along with 359 other objects of significant value were confiscated, rounding up to an estimated worth of around 6,233,695 Thai baht in total. That's seems to be a rather low total for the amount of goods seized.
  23. Wow, you got all this from reading her tea leaves? ????
