  1. In Thai politics, words are easily interchangeable. For example, you could describe a 5 star hotel room inside of a hospital as a prison cell and 'do not interfere in politics' means 'run the country through a proxy'.
  2. Wow, what a rare find. One of his posts that wasn't removed for taking the thread completely off topic. 🤣
  3. Thank you Will. At least someone has enough manners to answer a simple question.
  4. I did a quick Google search for 'Thai drug dealer' and nothing stands out. You are calling someone a drug dealer and I am asking who. Why can't you just answer the question?
  5. So are you going to answer my question or run and hide AGAIN. Is that how you usually talk to veterans, questioning their service while hiding behind a keyboard?
  6. It is British military slang, which is widely used on civvy street as well. In fact, I would say that most educated adult Brits know what a Walt is. Am I a Walt? As an ex member of the British army, who served in 2 theaters of war, I find that question very offensive. Is that how you usually talk to veterans, questioning their service while hiding behind a keyboard? Remind me again, where did you serve Trannie?
  7. Yes, unfortunately Bernard no longer gives a hoot. I used to look forward to his column every week. His archived stuff can be read at https://www.oocities.org/doxyblue/alltrink.html
  8. I just completed this quiz. My Score 60/100 My Time 111 seconds
  9. Really, how did you gauge this? Is their a double haters poll, did you speak with all of the double haters? Where are you getting this information from or is this something that you made up to fit your narrative?
  10. In the BP. You were seriously here 20 years ago and don't know about the legendary Trink?
  11. before that kind of information was on the internet, or general knowledge, had to find out for ourselves then, the hard way Didn't you read Trink's Night Owl column on Fridays for your bar related research? Nuff said.
  12. I think that he's confusing minors with miners.
  13. Good to see that the local plod are amused rather than bemused by the situation.
  14. Boxing is a man's sport that women should not be allowed to participate in. They should introduce events such as speed crocheting, balancing a household budget during a recession and basic daily duties, to appease the competitive fillies. They should have never been allowed to leave the kitchen.
  15. How is this racism? There are many countries in the world that have discounts/concessions for residents, including Los Angles and the rest of America ? It's sad how easily people cry racism just because they don't agree with something.
  16. Sheryl posted a link and some good info on this, earlier this year.
  17. and future tax payments are fact, not just 'possible' Are you suggesting that every ex-pat will have to pay tax???????????? Again babbling on and not making no sense. You really should learn when it is better to shut up and let the adults talk, lest you show how dense a person can truly be.
  18. Seriously, WTF are you taking about? The OP was talking about current concessions and you are babbling on about future changes to match 'possible' future tax payments. And you had the Cojones to tell me to keep up.
  19. Your post makes no sense. You are suggesting that expats should get concessions just in case they may (or may not) pay taxes in the future. I am keeping up, 'you have until March 2025 to pay' in no way suggests that the OP has paid tax, especially as the 2024 tax year has not yet finished. How many ex-pats do you know that have started paying this new tax rule?
  20. You pay tax on items that you purchase in every country you visit, yet no country offers confessions for this. As for 'we are expected to pay an income tax on money remitted to Thailand', has the OP paid tax on any money remitted to Thailand? I know many ex-pats in Thailand who have not paid tax.
