How is it that a foreigner with a car traveling out of province has no money? Why is it anytime an old Brit gets ill and ends up in the hospital they have no money and need help? At my age I can understand the inability to procure medical insurance but can not understand the lack of emergency funds if without insurance.
As you're so affluent, why not help the guy out? Surely you could raise a profit in organizing a 'go fund me' page. Your time is a worthy expense after all.
That said. How do you know it's not just a compatriot grifter?

What variant of a generic AT tire are you looking for? Some are biased for metaled roads with others biased for different off-road conditions. You don't specify which backroad you're willing to drive. Cost of the tires doesn't maketh the driver.
3 years back I dumped my Dueler 684's because I didn't like them for their highway or marginal off-road performance. My alternate choice was more based on cost than rhetoric.
I was offered Dunlop AT25's for 15,000 THB with a subtraction of 8,000 THB for the Duelers. A total cost to me of 7,000 THB.
Not being a tire expert I got the AT25's, just to trial them. They were far superior to the Duelers: lower noise, a more compliant ride and to cap it all, they took me to the Tiramisu Waterfalls during a few days of rain.
Last Saturday, bought a new set after 55,000 kilometers - 18,000 THB less 3,000 THB for the old tires.

Been here 25 years, and with the same mobile phone number since mobile phones were a thing. No-one is saying your data is perfectly safe all the time with every company you use, but I can count on one hand the amount of telemarketing calls I have had.
See? That's called answering a direct question - some of you guys should try it sometimes instead of just replying with an insult and not backing up anything you say or replying to questions or offering anything factual. So I'll try again, what evidence is there that the contact tracing numbers get sold to telemarketers? Even some anecdotal evidence - even a rumour - that you have heard of someone getting telemarketing calls since using the app to check in somewhere. One story? Anything? Please don't come back with "Joseph Bloggs is a sheep" or something, try answering an actual question. Not one fact stated in support of your position on this. Where's your evidence they aren't doing what's alleged?

Why worry if you have always abided by the law ? They can get your phone number from your TM30 or 90 day reports anyway.
I just don't get it ??
Some may have a concern that (at some time) immigration could facilitate a crosspatch into the system.
Your phone will give your position to within 3m of your actual location. Something they have wanted to do to foreigners for a long time.
Many reductions of civil liberties around the world are being promulgated under cover of "it's for the good of all," thanks to the virus.

So some guy crashes and damages a motorbike that you own. What would you want him to do for you?
Cover their expenses, I suppose. Because they have western expectations of justice. Mostly bike insurances here are worth Jack. Particularly with small rental bikes.
Ergo, the OP is liable.
Hopefully, others should research and learn from such experiences. Then again...

Hard to imagine why Thailand has lower tariffs and more expertise than other regional countries.
Interesting that you would wish to boost an Innova. Each to their own preference I suppose and wish you god luck.

Hope you get pleasure from whatever you get. Within my time here, it's noteworthy to mention that locals have little appreciation for the speeds you may be achieving at any given time. There's other ignorant folks also.
Ride safe.

In my experience the blacklight type devices have been next to usless.
The most effective for us has been the spiral design that you light and gives off smoke/vapour.
Indoors we have several UV traps which do remove a significant number of biting bugs. Outdoors they're useless. Because they attract many more bugs in comparison to the indoor environment. Placing banana leaves sprayed with cooking oil works wonders outdoors for many nocturnal bugs. Next day, just throw the leaves on the compost heap (if you're able).

Why would a company to commit to a low price when unable to assess the level of refurbishment needed?
Especially after you've played with it.

Awesome, Dorna has announced Thailand will run in October...hopefully the beer virus don't mess with the calendar anymore.
Am glad I did not cancel my accommodation !!
Doubt any had the opportunity to cancel the event booking.
Empathize with those that planned something special and can't be flexible in their plans.
October is a better time anyway. Fewer chances of 'rain stopped play' occasions.

Not the first report of such a 'reporting' recently. No doubt from an anonymous source.
While not decrying that the guy was on overstay and got caught, the rhetoric is probably a fake news story to spread uncertainty.

Of course they weren’t picking on me for my race. They were picking on me because of my car....and as Nyezhov says, my crazy hair and Andy Warhol junkie glasses. Can’t say I’ve ever listened to Nickleback. And if you think I’m trolling...all I can say is...thanks for contributing! ????
Would you like to hear about the time I was swarmed by clowns at a police checkpoint in Tak? ????
Guess you would have felt at home in Tak then.

if theres a power cut what happens? does the solar panels kick in keeping all my ground floor working as normal?
Depends on the switching arrangement as would be the case with a generator. A generator would be the cheapest option though.
All depends on your green credentials.

I would prefer to wrap my car for the same price as painting it. At least the idiots won't touch the original paint.
Nice to meet an optimist.

Where did I say it was racist?
Nowhere.
You stated that you were the only farang among many stopped. Ergo, they weren't picking on you due to race.
You do understand what you type, don't you?
Personally, I think you're trolling.

The search was a joke. All for show. They opened the center console and that was it. Didn’t look in the glovebox, the ashtray or even the trunk of the car. I looked around and one thing I noticed about the cars that were pulled over was that they were nice cars. No Civics or Camrys. Just higher end cars with respectable looking people. They weren’t targeting sketchy looking people....they were targeting rich looking people. I was the only foreigner.
So, not a racist thing!
Perhaps your crime was just driving a car that is easily affordable by some with ill-gotten funds.
Just cops doing their job.

Did you book the ride in, did you show them the damage and at the same time they looked under the hood for the paint code on a stamped plate, or perhaps they KNOW the code for that ride as there are zillions out there in that colour ......? ????
Color looks o.k. It's the finish. There's a distinct difference after the shut line to the fender. Looks like some overspray on the fender after the shut. Not sure if it's overspray or uncleaned polish under the headlamps.

The pearl paints don't seem to have much orange peel, or at least its less visible. Check out any dark car (especially black)- most have orange peel.
No color sanding on mass produced stuff as there's not enough paint to sand.

Great how does that explain how I took my lump in in the morning and it was finished the next morning. As I have said before get up to date on what they do now.
Just look at the finish.

Don't know if it's any good for you but I have just had a job done on my Tuna pearl white lump, had it done in Kamphaeng Phet at Noi Kahnchang. 055716496. They have other mobile No: N/B you will have to speak Thai.
Have just spent 2 weeks in Pattaya with family and some plonker marked the front bumper & a bit on the wing. Took it in yesterday 27th and they had finished it this morning 28th. They will not do a localised bit only a full panel.
What sort of job did they do well first class looks like new. Colour match perfect. They painted the full front panel wing to wing. Not a strait forward job as a lot of masking, cost was 3k BHT. Snap of the repaired bit.
Looks like you got a good deal if the orange peel was included.

We've always worn masks to counter the now normal levels of pollution throughout the land (and beyond) when not indoors or in a car. Using our eyes as a metric for the recent phenonium.
Have increased levels of cleanliness on arriving home and restricted level of access to our property.
Hopefully it will be proven that we're over-reacting.
