Exactly. a vast majority of tourists come here because of the nightlife. Even the ones that don't come here for that reason would still want to enjoy a glass of wine a bottle of beer with their meal.

just open the country up properly. as long as people here have had their chance to get vaccinated then i don't see why there should be any restrictions

And BTW don't bother with emailing, you're probably wasting your time. They most likely have a huge abundance *& backlog of emails. When i fist reported the missing money at my local branch, they had no idea what they were doing, so i called customer support while i was in the bank, and they sorted it out right there and then. 5 hours later they called me back to say that they refunded my 17,000 THB

Yes, customer service. Did they provide you with a reference number after you reported the missing money?

Get on the phone to them and demand a response. it's completely out of order that they're making you wait this long

Which bank are you with? I had money stolen from my K-Bank account 3 weeks ago, but they refunded me 5 hours after reporting it.

I'm not sure, but, I was a victim of this crime 3 weeks ago. After contacting the bank, they paid back my money within 5 hours. First they had to do an investigation, but they soon fond out that the withdrawals were fraudulent.

Yeah, good idea.

Also, I would like to add, the withdrawals started occurring around 24 hours after i withdrew some money from an ATM , so it's a possibility that there was a card skimming device on that ATM machine. So, something worth being aware of.

Yes, this happened to me 3 weeks ago. I had around 18,000 THB stolen from my Kasikorn Bank account. I hadn't checked my account for around 8 days, but when i did, i realized there was some money missing. When i looked at my bank statement, i could see that there were some very unusual withdrawals over a period of 8 days, mostly a lot of small ones ranging from 300 THB up to three thousand THB Anyway, after i realized, i went straight to the Bank and reported it & they returned my money to me 5 hours later that evening. So yeah , make sure you check your accounts every day guys!
