  1. I know exactly what you mean man. My girl also went out to vote for MFP whith such joy and optimism. Kinda sad to be honest when you know deeep down what the end result will be.. I really do wish the best for Thai people, but i think they're going to have to go through many more struggles over the coming years before things get better.
  2. I can't see them letting go of power anytime soon. And you think it's gonna be possible to defeat a whole army? I don't think so... I believe that it's going to take generations to come for Thailand to actually chnage.
  3. I also would like to see greater accessibility to quality education , particularly for families with limited financial resources.
  4. All sounds very well and good for the most part . However, people also ignore the fact that the issue with adding more tax for the rich is that it can discourage investment and economic growth. High taxes on the wealthy can reduce their incentive to invest in businesses, or start new ventures. When the wealthy have less disposable income due to higher taxes, they may be less likely to take risks and make long-term investments. In turn this can actually have a negative impact on job creation and economic development.
  5. I called the Mae Sot Border yesterday and they told me that the border is not open for visa runs. So i i take it things have chnaged since April.
  6. Yes he is very open and honest about it. he never tried to hide any of that. always said that he part of the corruption himself. At least he was honest
  7. Update. Called Tak immigration . The border is currently closed for any border runs and they have no idea when it will be open again. This is a rule set by Myanmar not Thailand.
  8. Chuwit has always been a propper nutcase. I see that nothing much has changed then ha ha ha ???? Love him or hate him, he's one of the most honest and straight talking Thai politicians you'll ever meet.
  9. Despite the challenges, those devides continue to thrive. However, people are now more reluctant to participate in protests due to the potential consequences they may face. The Move Forward Party is determined to unite the nation and alleviate divisions. Unfortunately, the dictator has failed to address this issue effectively, relying instead on instilling fear in the population to maintain submission
  10. Word are cheap. Let's judge him by his actions over the the next couple of weeks.
  11. Would no suprise me in the slightest. Sad but true..
  12. You do have good a point. Money talks at the end of the day. I'm an ex weed smoker, but i don't touch it these days as it has a tendancy to induce paranoia and anxiety. I'm just one of the unlucky ones that suffes such effects from weed. I have no issuies with people smoking it. i think it should remain legal but there aslo needs to be education around the potential negative effects from it.
  13. Honestly, this would not come at any suprise if it were to happen.
  14. Remind me again how he got into power in the first place?
  15. The votes from Thai people will tell you all you need to know.
  16. That'd be amazing to see. Or maybe prayut and his mates have already jetted off to hide 55555
  17. We'll have to wait and see if and when it happenes.
  18. Both Move Forward/Pheu Thai are anti weed for recreational use. So i'd guess it will become more of a controlled substance., I think Thailand has much bigger problems to deal with right now anyway.
  19. Congrats to Thailand. I'm happy for the Thai people. Hopefully this will be the start of a positive new change.
  20. Yes, and if Thaksin decides to return he will get a fair trial with a Move Forward/Pheu Thai colalition. Pita has already said that Mr Thaksin has the right to come back to his motherland
