You want to see a light smear from a flaw in film or camera cool. You want to see a ghost or what ever cool.

I remember seeing some thing similar with a photo in a Taxi here in Bangkok where a smear of light that looked very close to the one in the above shoot was twisted around a monk chanting. Trick or not the driver insisted he just took the picture of a monk inside the Wat during the day using aviable light and was surprised by what came out when it was developed and considered it a omen of good luck.

Its all well and good to say lets not bash some on the visa question or to have the improper visa for what they are doing.

But really lack of knowledge is no excuse. The reasoning that saying I did not know when they get caught by the law enforcement is not viable at all.

What really bugs me is some who knowingly skirt the rules and know the laws and just disregard them till they are caught then its whoa is me its not fair as they being punished even when they are in the wrong.

I remember a few years back this english bloke came up to me and my wife outside the world trade center and gave us this sob story about 2 working girls robbing him in Pattaya of all his money and such and asked for thai baht to get home as the embassy was not helping him at all. My wife felt sorry for him and gave 500 baht if I recall right and that was it. But it does not end there around 3 weeks later he tried to hit us up again in almost the same spot with the same story and we refuse and he called us a bunch of names and stormed off when we refused to help further. Then finally we saw him begging at the Old DOn Muang airport in on the departure level for any extra Thai Baht people leaving had when we were dropping someone off last year just before they closed it.

So what rights do my Daughters have being born in Canada but maybe in the future would like to consider say getting their Thai citizenship/passport/Thai I.D and such? My Wife their mom is Thai.

Good: A new taxi with good A/C mid day

BaD : An old taxi with holes in the floor and the red check engine light stays on the whole trip as the driver makes his own lanes yet has no idea where you want to go

I think we all use nicknames to hide in one aspect or an other but I also hope there is abit of ones personality or reason when we pick the name we login under. That is enless they are just sneaking in to troll or flame someone or everyone. I have found with the standoffish of the internet some almost feel they are free of having to be polite and have some god given right to be rude as there is not direct penalties.

WHy are you not bringing this issue up with your landlord they should be fixing it as you are renting

But you did not answer my question which was have you mentioned this problem to your landlord as you are renting and they the owners should be correcting this situation not you.

WHy are you not bringing this issue up with your landlord they should be fixing it as you are renting ?

May he enjoy the cell with all his new friends..Do the crime serve the time. I can`t think of a better place for him. Why visit scum like this?

Its all or nothing. I feel that you started this and have taken on the role of them now being yours so you should bite the bullet and take them the mom and the remaining kitten to the vet for a checkup and for mom to get the snip snip to stop anymore. The big problem maybe that mom is not that healthy and she is not giving much milk to kitten.

I have talked with my wife about this a number of times. We have a friend and he wai`s everyone from kids to monks with out a real understanding why eh is wai`ing. My wife thinks hes crazy.

There are many rules to consider. Hand Position to start and then status and age and then there is who wai`s lower and shows deferal to the other and such. My wife said it is easier to just shake hands with who every it is as that is what the Thai person will expect and they will know as a farang I will not understand the rules.

In the end if you do want to Wai someone then do so as the Thai person will not correct you as they do not want to embarrass you for doing it wrong but they will secrety think your crazy.

The thing is everyone has a right to their opinion. The problem is where do you draw the line in the sand. I have found that Thaivisa has gotten to P.C in many aspects where if one person takes the slightest offence to something then it is blocked or banned. There are many types here and many characters. Some are burned out from questions being asked time after time while others just bitter. I have not noticed much a change in tone I have just noticed alot of questions without much of a Thai flavour and they are more in the personal realm with a Thin connection to Thailand and maybe would help the one person but really not help group here as a whole and when it gets to that point it should then move to the personal messages not the open form.

A few points to consider. You state you were taking care of the dogs. And as they are street mutts and nobody have taken ownership of said dogs and with that I feel in a small way then you are some what responsible for them like it or not. Also since it was your new boy friend talking to the owners of your rental unit not you how do you know he did not say they were o.k with the deaths of their pets just so he felt you were saving face which would be a Thai thing to do(IMHO)

Where we live there is not many Farangs and these I do see at Fashion Center, Carrefour and such really have made it not worth it to try and meet or chat with which is sad. I used to try and be polite and just say hello as we do stand out and for the most part and they look at me like I am from some other planet(which is possible I guess) Or i am trying to sell them something(Which I was not) Sigh... I was and still am just trying to be polite and when I say good morning or hello/Hi or just nod(Kinda like that driving a v.w bug thing you know where you wave at all these driving V.w`s as its our own little club sorta thing but just put the word Farnag in place of the V.w Bug part) I am not looking to be your best friend(Who knows they could get to like me I do not consider my self that bad a guy though my wife says my humour is warped) Yes I know there could be many reasons why the people do not say hello or nod and such or even smile. But to actually have a few manners would be nice. Am I asking to much?

Nok Air is a good example of this..I was checking ticket prices with them and it was around 1500 Thai baht for the ticket to Phuket which is excellent but with taxes it worked out to be around 4000 baht..Yikes
