  1. I know exactly what you mean
  2. Exactly when it next happens they will kill the tv and internet and block all the radio channels except Radio 2 lol Radio too oh forget it
  3. "For just a few hundred baht they make great presents so that the aged can listen to music and the lottery while in the fields as well as get important emergency information if necessary." Whilst their bone idle offspring lie in hammocks all day either drunk or playing on their smartphones waiting for their mother to come home so they can be fed
  4. do you have a fully fitted out underground bunker yet?
  5. depends what they class as elderly, but out here in the sicks there always seems to be some women gossiping to the mother in law about the errant ways of theirs or others' husbands many of whom are in their 70's My father in law was in the bad books a few years ago he was 76 (still has do do his own laundry lol) and his brother in law makes no secret of his mia noy ( who his wife is fully aware of, but blames it all on the existence of a tamarind tree in front of the house, that he won;t chop down!!) There's loads of them at it , and their kids , grandkids , and possibly even grand kids are no better lol There is also an oldish woman who is known to arrange "introductions" for a fee of course The young generation are obviously going at it bareback evidence being all the bloody kids they pop out, I doubt the oldies are any different after 1/2 bottle of lao khao ! so you might be surprised ! Must be something in the air maybe,
  6. "deleted Again" and you've only made 31 posts do you suffer from Tourettes ?
  7. most on here will be, but we can still moan about it
  8. It isn't actually that far from Bangkok to Hua Hin. does it really need to be "high speed" I mean what's the rush. At least It will bring the Orient express out of the last century
  9. I agree with the legalisation of all drugs , 99.9% of the problems faced by societies due to drugs are caused by the illegality once that aspect is removed most of the associated societal problems disappear Many people suffering from the effects of alcohol and cigarettes were hooked before smoking was considered to be so dangerous, and have also contributed to the system through the tax they have paid , although anybody taking up the habit today has really no excuse. Then there is the problem of obesity and heart disease, often self inflicted, and all the other ailments due to over consumption of fat, and especially, sugar which must surely place at least a similar load on health systems I am sure that the money wasted on the "war" on drugs could have paid for enough doctors and hospitals to look after everybody that requires treatment.
  10. plenty of people have rare skills and don't get paid so generously if they truly earn their money why are so many clubs in financial difficulties?
  11. Animals have no rights, except in the minds of a few weirdos
  12. I see no reason for them to be paid anymore than others
  13. If keegan was on £50 a week what were the rest of people earning, £10 ?
  14. And it would be well deserved, Cats and humans have coexisted for 1000's of years, this is hardly a step forward especially for cats, who ever is suggesting this is obviously "challenged|"
  15. Apparently its the subservient ones that prefer to bury it , the more dominant ones prefer to leave it exposed presumably to leave their mark and a as warning to the others. However it would need to be a very determined cat to dig through grass, Have you considered creating a sandy area in a remote part of the garden ideally adjacent to your neighbours plot if possible
  16. destroy is the correct word
  17. Common sense suggests that there should be some guidance regarding the maximum length of any leads that are required, but, unsurprisingly that has not been mentioned
  18. Perhaps you should establish what makes your garden so attractive to them, I have heard that spreading a bit of Rosemary around will repel them but not sure how effective it is , There also used to be some sort of ultrasonic device that was reputed to discourage them but again I;m not sure how effective it was, Failing that I believe Lion excrement keeps them away, so a trip to the zoo might be in order, then again Lion excrement is probably worse than cat's
  19. That is indeed a possible solution, a cat will always prefer an area that is soft and easy to dig, but to imply that cats recognise man made boundaries and defecate accordingly is clearly ludicrous, Dogs are a little different and will consider an enclosed area as their "own". but a cats territory is often far larger than most can imagine
  20. Until relatively recently one very rarely saw cats in Thailand , however was a surge in popularity recently which can probably be traced back to one or more of those moronic "internet idols" the novelty is wearing off now , these "trends" never last long so expect to see a lot of miserable abandoned cats in the near future. There is probably a good argument for a nationwide cull of strays, but in my opinion the stray dogs pose a greater threat. Pity they can't develop a disease like myxomatoses to deal with the problem
  21. they do normally but they probably find the sun baked clay "challenging" to dig
  22. They don't have "their own" garden , they are cats not people
  23. Probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever read in my life
