To be fair, If a large thuggish looking guy was trying my front door in an attempt to enter my home, I might shoot first and ask questions later as well. Especially if it were after dark and in a gang problem area of town.

Obviously that wouldn't be the case in a car park (cheerleaders), or a child knocking a ball into my garden.

5'8" and 140lbs mousy musician = "large thuggish looking guy"... Uhm OK. ????

It's no nightmare for him as he is used to the mistreatment of women, including his wives. Some say show me the man and I will show you his vast number of crimes. Trump 2024!!! The guy will crush in GOP primaries, then be crushed in the general... We've seen this show before.

    Why the confused smilies?

Over 20 years of military action have failed to put down the southern insurgency. Perhaps it's time to have a serious go at a negotiated settlement. I don't support the use of violence, but understand the reasons why a minority have resorted to it.

"Put down"... Interesting phrasing. Living in the South I have yet to see a concerted effort to "put down" anything. Mostly I have seen atempts to maintain civilized order.

Do you believe every "minority" needs to "fight" for "freedom" whether repressed or not?

He is using the exact same argument I read on here many times from pro gun posters. There's no point in a ban if you can go next state to buy what you want.

Imo all steps in the right direction are welcome, but a federal bank would be better. No chance of that happening now though.

Well at least it works for the 11% of Americans who never leave their home state... Small steps ????

Nice point. Is this an indication that folks now employed in the FBI, CIA, Secret Service, various police agencies etc., have little hesitation to reveal classified information?

Why would a leak from the Department of Defence be an indication of anything happening in "police agencies"? I don't get the connection.

When asked if they would prefer to pay off their bank overdraft or go to the pub for a pint on their credit card, a clear majority voted in favor of the pub. The priorities are all wrong, for me at least.

Many countries have this problem because of an aging population. The UK chose to increase the retirement age, France has done the same, the US needs to do similar, at least, they can't maintain the status quo.

A standard deflection. Any economist will confirm that national debt IS NOT comparable, equivalent or even vaguely related to, household debt. Can you print your own money?

Legit question, when it comes to guns and Americans not all but some would like to keep his gun collection the same way i would like to keep my motorcycle or car collection not have them taken away.

Come on American guys here you know the mentality of gun guys in America I just assumed it.

Cummin bro... Do you really think people in countries with logical gun laws do not have gun collections? You do reside on earth, right? Logical gun laws DO NOT prevent collections.
