We just all have different requirements. Britman wants a pretty sex doll that leaves him alone and keeps the house going.

I prefer a gf to be a friend too with a good level of English and income. Always had Thai woman like that now a Singapore woman. English is perfect as expected. Makes more money then me and now i live free in a house that goes for 80k a month curtesy of her company.

It all depends on what you want and need. The only time i start to comment is when guys who lure the woman with money get upset when the girl takes the money and runs. Or find some way to separate the guy from the money without providing the service the guy wants. I mean what are you thinking using money to get a girl and then thinking she will not try to get the money an easier way.

Well, the chance you have to meet a woman in Thailand that speaks good english, is very low, unless you have something that interest her, and match her intelligence, education, and also solid financial.

The lady most likely been studying abroad, working in a international company, or been dealing with falanges a long time but still uneducated and have a poor background.  And thats the option we got, and most likely it is the third option we have as foreigners.

And I would say, have experience with falangs is not at all a bad background, since they already made their mistakes, and hopefully learned, and Im not talking about simple bar language, Im talking about english even educated cant compare with. I would say that shows some kind of strenght and quality.

Well the teenagers around here are indeed dealing drugs, that's a good example however I don't have much problem  if they like to hurt themselves, now getting poison by unscrupulous neighbors is a bit more problematic.

I will avoid doing as Roman do even in Rome given the life expectancy of Thai people in our area.

I'm aware of the lawlessness of Thailand but if there were any way we could refrain this pig farm from doing more harm I would be interested, otherwise just cross my fingers that the wind blow the right way.

Well, the problem is, it is the police who give teh tenagers to sell to. And thats the best example of how deleted things are here.

As Charlie say, go to the village boss with every neighbour, friend and family and deliver your concern.

Unfortunately you have only three choices in Thailand if you do not have family high up, and that is to go to your village boss,  look another way, or move if its to bad. I might be wrong, but my experience is that local village thais keeps their heads low, and hope not bee bothered with any undelicate matters.

Another good reason to not invest more than you can walk away from.

The list getting longer for good reasons the longer I stay here, to keep my investments on my limit.

My wife thinks that anyway they pay the police and the local politics. The drone is a good idea but they could sue me for it. I suppose that if it was totally legal they would not hide it like this. I'm quite tempted by the drone thing. Maybe it would worth to ask a lawyer.

I have to admit it was irony, and I have to say, listen to your wife and neighbours, and let them deal with it, if it is an issue. When i Rome, do as,,,,,,, etc etc even it is hard to do.

If the police dealing drugs to the teenagers, and you know it, you see it and every neighbour and everyone in the village knows it, what would you do?

    And a good job

Thats comes with some few issues as well, if she got work. For some who like to go on their own and travel in Thailand as going abroad home, since there is not easy to plan a longer trip when they are stuck working 5-6 days a week 10 hour a day, and only the short long weekends with budda days, father and mother days, and maybe 12 days a year holiday. Good work means they are either Teacher or working in a Western international company with western standard benefits.

Most men that come here for a woman end up with a 2-3, in my opinion. However, when I was new here, I'd have placed them over 5. The exoticism clouds the vision for the first few years.

2-3  and act like psychotic dragon.

You see all kinds of relationships. Love works in mysterious ways. Or loneliness, need, greed and blue balls if you like

In other words look for a good woman with the upper brain not the lower brain.

Or one who do know the gras is not greener on the other side, not only because she experienced it, but also because you treat her decent enough, so she have no reason to believe so.

Unfortunately many of us are to busy looking at the beauty of the packaging rather than the beauty that lies within.

Yes, and when you marry one everyone else wants, and who is a 8- 10, compare to the most men who come here to look for a woman, who at best is a 5, you know,  she know, she can do better as well. A bad circle.

    Most women know their price,

I see these Ducklings all over Korat , why would you come all the way over here to get an Ugly Pumpui Duck

If you are a decent human being, polite, respectful, not to stupid, not to easy, and you click with someone who appreciate you for who you are, and you both walk that extra mile to make both of you happy and secured. Then you maybe would have understood it.

So many girls become good partners, if you just treath them with respect, give them love (not only money) a bit of your time, let them be themselves as them let you have your things. But finding such a woman who is willing to walk the extra mile,  is not easy. Most when they find them, they think they are to boring, not good looking enough, to many younger, slimmer smiling girls around,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, end of story

it is all up to you, so stop complaining when you still in your end of your days, still searching and running around looking

Found them here up North,. GT-Riders. Then there are model specific forums for most bikes, for tinkering.

Still not signing up to FarceBook just for that ????

Yes, specific forums is the best, but now you are in Thailand, and not everything is that easy or cheap to buy online, if you do not exactly where to look. But bikerbitz is a good start for many things.

And they also happy to help you as well.

to defend fb, it is nice to see regulary updates from surten members in your feed, and it makes my day a bit brighter at least.

    Another reason to avoid FarceBook.

I said the more decent one ????

but thank you for your opinion, highly appreciated. Just thinking of all the hidden gems of routes you missing out. Once and awhile good tips between the regular <deleted> you find inside here as well, but trhere is 10 times of people who knows their <deleted> there, than here. At least out of those who take their time to post good advises as you might find one or two to great riders to hook up with close, by to have a blast for a day or longer trips. For som that is valuable when you are stuck in a country you do not really belong to. And remember I said one or two, since strange strangers appears there as well here.

I fear that faith ,especially one still is strong enough to slaughter infants and innocents ,as we see daily  in the newspapers.

And it doesnt stop with religion, politics, soccer hooligans/fans, bikers, you name it. People are willing to even kill for pride, a wrong put out of respect, misunderstandings, it is just some humans nature. Teached, genetics, life experience that lead up to dissaster, veterans who do not fit in the society anymore,. Many reasons why people is willing to kill, or send people out to kill.

The Fight for resourches and land is natural herritage from  before we even became homo sapiens. Religion just another tool.

Great story, reminds me of the Covid ladder that we are not supposed to question...

Except some of us understand the massage, and also have friends who work in the front line, and know more about the virus than most of us. Thats the difference. However, the Spanish flue took 5 years, and stayed more than a decade with us causing serious problems for people, and normaly it takes 10 years to develop a safe vaccine.

And the we in our time still struggle with poeple who do not believe covid 19 is a problem, that is a problem. So no, nothing simular to the monkey and the lather at all.

We will have to live with the covid 19 many years to come with or without vaccine, no matter what you believe or think.

What about Spain? Malaga? Cadiz?Almería? They have the one of the best weather in Europe, cold at winter, spring and fabulous summer.

Also have a plan B...I own a house in Cadiz, where in the future I have the plan to finish my days when the Health will do the face. By now, have house in Thailand, farm and family.

South Spain or from Costa del sol the summer being to hot. If you think Thailand is hot, then just experience spain in July and August, and to cold from Costa del sol and North in the winther. My family have house there since 1985, so I know the area very well, and seen how it have developed since then. House and land getting rediculous expensive, but food and general living costs not to bad still. I would rather choose the west coast of Portugal instead and deal with the cold there, than the hot summers in Spain.

Pattaya is great without a car or bike.

I hope this covid thing is a new fresh start for Pattaya when it start rolling again. At least can hope, because it is a perfect spot with many uppertunities and short way to airport as well.

Some few  things to do, clean up the drain systems, get proper waste handling, clean up the beaches and the worst bar districts and gogos.

The point I was making is that they DESTROYED the nice beaches. Short of putting the bulldozer through all the flashpacker hotels it's never going to get better, IMO.

Times changing every popular place, since money is the drive, and when they finely finding themselves at the point it is destryed, they have to rethink and rebuild again. But, one thing for sure, nothing will ever be like it was before.

The little bungalow at the beach with no electric to 150,- baht, and the water just a few meter outside had sharks, sea snakes, turtles and fish with all the different shapes and colours, the electric noise underwater from healthy corals, will we never see again. For sure. Not in our time at this planet. But there will be nice bungalows, hopefully better water quality and also some underwater life will finely come back sooner or later. One day

Even though this is obviously a great attempt at a troll it has brightened my morning.Thanks.

PS,you've nailed it with that feeling that you get when you first notice it going, hahaha.

I started to loose hair quite young, and still have hair, but better to let it go. The sad thing is all my relatives and friends who joked about it, now loose their hair to, and I can see how painful it is to them. And the good thing, they know what they joked with me every time we meet, and I do not mention it or their hair at all. Still they think about for sure ????

  18. Ai, one haircut style since 1996, and it saved me alot of money. Girls never minded my hairstyle, and I could not care less. I was more worried until I decided it was the end of having long hair, but at once, I felt relieved.

Seen to many who failed hair transplantation, and feel really sorry for those.

See this tatto style now getting popular.
