  1. Get out the humble pie. Big servings needed.
  2. How many refineries or Steel mills are you powering? Look at the big picture I E. Grid scale. Home owner microgrids are great, I have my own, but no good for powering a country. A legal grid tie system should shut down if the grid goes down, at least in Australia. I guess you are different or special.
  3. I pay 200 for one month inclusive of solar rebates. But I live in a house not some housing commission flat.
  4. Skynet is a popular ( only one I know of ) satellite tv service in Myanmar. The name surprised me at first, but not as much as a shopping centre called the Big C in Thailand.
  5. Other countries can mass produce cars with robots, can't see why the USA can't. Unions perhaps?
  6. Can't answer your question about how many job sites require 100 bricklayers. But one machine can do the equivalent of 100 brickies based on time. I guess if it's looked at in another way the machine can do the work on a 100 sites of one bricklayer requirement each.
  7. The bricklaying robot has been around for a while.
  8. Why the the thumbs down. Try it yourself and you will see. Look at the screen shot I added. Read and weep.
  9. I've seen a demonstration of a tractor that can drive itself along crop rows, detect a single weed and spray it with herbicide while leaving the crop unharmed. Picking fruit and vegetables will be easy. It's happening now. What used to take a crew to pick fruit is now done by a machine that shakes the tree and catches the fruit in nets.
  10. Most of what you mentioned could be done by AI controlled robots. There are machines now that can lay bricks 100 times faster than a bricklayer. We have only scratched the surface of what might be. Glad I won't be around in fifty years.
  11. Even a Google search will give an AI response with a disclaimer underneath that it may contain errors.
  12. I find myself using a calculator and double checking the result mentally.
  13. Is that legit? Bill Gates was charging me around $180 AUD a year rent.
  14. I had to. My edition wasn't compatible. I eventually cancelled the subscription.
  15. You can access all your files anywhere.....so can Mr Gates.
  16. Yes and no. My desktop has Win 10 and I can continue to use Microsoft Office that I bought 20 years ago. My laptop has Win 11 and I need to 'rent ' office if I want to use it. Bill Gates has enough money and I don't want to give him any more I installed Libre on the laptop and it works with all my office documents.
  17. No you didn't, you really didn't.
  18. Quite a claim from a cushy mop pusher paid for by the taxpayer, milking Medicare as much as possible.
  19. I don't think so. Bob was not as naive and marginally more intelligent. GG is just plain stupid in a child like way.
