  1. Why the the thumbs down. Try it yourself and you will see. Look at the screen shot I added. Read and weep.
  2. I've seen a demonstration of a tractor that can drive itself along crop rows, detect a single weed and spray it with herbicide while leaving the crop unharmed. Picking fruit and vegetables will be easy. It's happening now. What used to take a crew to pick fruit is now done by a machine that shakes the tree and catches the fruit in nets.
  3. Most of what you mentioned could be done by AI controlled robots. There are machines now that can lay bricks 100 times faster than a bricklayer. We have only scratched the surface of what might be. Glad I won't be around in fifty years.
  4. Even a Google search will give an AI response with a disclaimer underneath that it may contain errors.
  5. I find myself using a calculator and double checking the result mentally.
  6. Is that legit? Bill Gates was charging me around $180 AUD a year rent.
  7. I had to. My edition wasn't compatible. I eventually cancelled the subscription.
  8. You can access all your files anywhere.....so can Mr Gates.
  9. Yes and no. My desktop has Win 10 and I can continue to use Microsoft Office that I bought 20 years ago. My laptop has Win 11 and I need to 'rent ' office if I want to use it. Bill Gates has enough money and I don't want to give him any more I installed Libre on the laptop and it works with all my office documents.
  10. No you didn't, you really didn't.
  11. Quite a claim from a cushy mop pusher paid for by the taxpayer, milking Medicare as much as possible.
  12. I don't think so. Bob was not as naive and marginally more intelligent. GG is just plain stupid in a child like way.
  13. What did you do to help him?
  14. Many wind farms are not being proceeded with. The financiers are pulling out.
  15. Works where the uptake is relatively small. I get 44 cents per kw/h that I export to the grid as I was an early adopter - 18 years ago. That number is around 8 cents now for new installs and likely to go lower. In some jurisdictions they are charging people for export when supply exceeds demand. You pay them. The Australian government has a battery subsidy in place where they pay part of the cost of purchase and installation. The catch is they will use the battery to prop up the grid when required. Quite an admission of a failed system. The batteries will derate much quicker than normal use. I bet the government won't be paying for their disposal and purchase of new ones. As mentioned I have PV power and it has it's place. Grid scale generation is not one of them.
  16. Coal burners are not expensive. The can be built on existing sites using existing infrastructure. Solar and wind cannot. Read recently that Australia will be building around 43,000 kilometres of access roads just for pv and wind sites. Scars on the landscape.
  17. Oh, the irony. AI (very basic AI, not much more than a search engine) commenting on an AI thread. I don't think we have seen real AI yet. The world will be very different in 5 years or less.
  18. Programmers will be a thing of the past. True will develop of its own accord.
  19. Get rid of the LM laws and modernise the defamation laws. Both are used as a political force to hold Thailand back. Bring equality to all and you might see ordinary Thais start to excel.
  20. If you looking for ladyboys you will find them. You do you.
