You missed the irony.
He is giving a speech, spraying his germs to all and sundry without the mask.
I really hope you missed the sarcasm rather than him missing the irony. Come on the blues!

there is also Yippon, plus I can also think of what some refer to black and brown people as and its not falang. I think its pretty safe to assume he meant white.

If what you say is correct, what could be the underlining reason for that?
Some people wouldnt suddenly start to hate other people, without any rhyme or reason.
I would say there are a**eholes in all races. Can't treat everyone the same.

WOW! Talking about racism on this thread... it's flowing freely.
I'm really not sure if your comment is sarcasm? I can't see anything racist in that statement and pretty sure I would be the same if a random ANY sort of guy in a suit was handing out masks. How many tourists will know hes the health minister?

Anutin later apologised on Facebook for his comment, insisting the government is doing its best to tackle the situation and deserved respect for trying – not the kind of rejection he experienced.

easier to blame farang than to actually really try to stop the spread then?

did you not read the advice of the WHO? I believe it is you who maybe ignorant and naive

Uff, I finally did it yesterday but very long day guys. Thankfully the officer I spoke to at CM immigration was very nice and she helped us a lot.
I got there at 7 AM and got number 60, at 10 AM I got the real queue number L50 or something. At 1 PM we got to the desk but there were a few problems. My company didn't terminate my work extension last year and even if I got out of the country on May I had to visit the immigration to cancel the extension first... Luckily I got a letter from my company in no time and they terminated my visa.
Afterwards they wanted a copy for any single page of my bank book. One page one sheet of paper and only on the front (I did front back copies). So back to the copy shop once again.
Finished at 3 PM and they will come to visit me in the next 10 days... what kind of questions are they gonna ask? Also during the interview they asked about my income and my wife's but I applied using 400.000 baht in the bank so I don't really understand the meaning of this question...
I had the same run around cancelling my work permit with BOI at sam yan... I was lucky had 15 days left to get it all sorted.
I never had the "visit" and we applied with 400 000 but we had already been married 6 years. I don't think it is anything to worry about though. They are just checking you are a legitimate couple.
EDIT : I hate that L queue! they stuck me in that one to change my stamp into a new passport aswell...which of course I was over the moon about.

There is no salary requirement to get the work permit. Your income would be any profit the partnership has.
thats great news .... thanks again Joe!

Set up a 51/49% partnership and register it with 1 million baht of capital. Then get the work permit and bill your customers in the name of the partnership.
thanks Joe ... will definately look more into this! Does setting up a partnership still mean you have to pay a salary? Or is it different to setting up a company? We are fairly okay financially, so if I was to freelance it would'nt be a monthly income just a few times a year.

I have lived here for around 17 years and up until a year ago I worked legally for thai companies as 3d technical artist. I have been offered a lot of freelance work but have never taken any of it due to legality. I am now on a marriage visa and allowed to work with a work permit. Can't get a work permit as a freelancer though. It seems rather silly to me that they don't issue work permits for freelancing as I am sure many would be happy to pay tax and I am also sure there are many working with offshore accounts to avoid this issue.
As for iglu it just seems like a massive rip off to me.

Most growers would have topped the Sativa, and it would end up the same shape as the Indica.

Even a lot of strains back in the 90s were crossed with ruderalis for their fast growth
