The only weed that grows well in Thailand, are the normal Landrace strains.

All the hybrids are very delicate and hard to grow in this climate.

You'd need air-con and humidity control.

Not to mention the soils and nutrients are very hard to source.

    (So a friend tells me)

Although Lazada does sell the 'Mars Hydro' range of kit.

I think not so difficult ... I will be going with an air exchange and keep the outside of my tent temperature controlled... extractor, humidifier and de-humidifier on controllers and already have nutrient mixes and microorganisms selected.

Doesn't sound silly at all and I consider myself a connoisseur in hiding I would love to grow some product with love and affection.

Me too ... I have been doing lots of research over the last couple of weeks and things hav'nt really changed too much in the indoor growing scene over the past 20 years, plus it is much easier to find information now. The thing I was concerned about was heat and humidity but pretty sure I have that worked out now. Now just need the all clear/license from those in charge... I have gotten far to excited at the prospect and now feel like a kid trapped in a never ending christmas eve.

It also seems a quite a bit stronger than now than when they first started selling it.Although it seems contrary to popular opinion Thais are capable of improvement sometimes.Happy blaze,I mean happy days!

I am very dubious about the oil, who knows what they mix it with and even when they start releasing flower from the labs I would still be cautious, will they even flush out nutrients? As silly as it may sound I think you will get a better product if its grown with love by connoisseurs rather than by scientists and rice farmers just for cash.

Yeah, Origene has a monopoly in Pattaya and there are currently issues on the supply side. So the oil is significantly lower strength, and much more expensive than what I'm used to. Call me a cheap charlie if you will....

I'm hoping once supply picks up and more clinics open their doors that the potency goes up, and the price goes down.

<deleted> ... I have my strains and quantum boards picked out and the wife and I are ready to go ... come on law makers, let us help the people!

As part of their campaign to improve road safety Daily News highlighted the dangers of motorcyclist going the wrong way on roads.

Not just bikes ...We have quite a busy/fast section of road near where we live. When I take the wife to the airport link for work in the morning one side often gets jammed. I have seen on quite a few occasions cars just go onto the wrong side of the road and drive at high speed to avoid the jam. I am waiting for a huge accident to happen, and just hope we are not involved.

After reading your post, I made a point of watching the song on youtube. I'm afraid I still haven't changed my mind about rap music.

I didn't say anything about crotch-grabbing or twerking. My comment was purely about the alleged 'music' content.

I am not the greatest fan of his music but i am guessing its not really aimed at me and by your "tone" I am guessing you are older than I, so not aimed at you either. I am sure he thinks val doonican or whoever you listen to is sh!te. For me, his lyrics are very clever and send a positive message for the youth, which makes a nice change as far as I am concerned.

Schools here are little more than indoctrination centres which teach conformity to Establishment norms while crushing creativity and ignoring children's innate curiosity.

I went to a grammar school in the uk in the 80's and to be honest most of the teachers didn't like you to question things. 90% of the teachers couldn't be @rsed to teach as they had been there too long. Copying passages out of their text books onto the board and if you could'nt copy quick enough you had no chance. I may of not been the best pupil but I do feel if they had put more passion and life into it I would have been more interested. It was all about conformity and obeying the rules and I hated every second of it.

I am under the impession that, upon getting a new passport, transferring the stamps, one has to leave and re-enter the country BEFORE successfully making an on-line 90-day report. I've seen some reports (on FB) that one must also make one in-person 90-day report AFTER re-entering the country.

I've aksed in other threads, if people have been able to make on-line 90-day reports, after having made them successfully with the previous passport, and after re-entering the country. Only got one (positive) response. I'll be able test the system the first week of May, as I just had an int'l exit/return. Previously I couldn't use the on-lone system, and have done two reports in person at CW.

I could tell you EXACTLY the same story from Jomtien. It was repeated many times. In the meantime I gave up.

I really hope this turns out not to be the case but I was surprised that it did'nt enter the system when you transfer your stamp. I mean how hard can that be in 2020. I wonder if data is still copied using floppy disks.

Could you really do this? I told them so often at 90 day reports to change the passport number in the system. After several years I gave up. Online worked with the old passport problem free.

Well hmm.... I have to do my first online attempt after changing my passport and reporting at CW immigration in a couple of weeks. When I went to CW, I did tell the lady that I was unable to do it online. When she gave me back my passport she told me I was now in the system again and can do it online next time.... we will see.

Ministers anywhere rarely have experience in the field they are in charge of. For example, the recent Chancellor in the UK, Sajid Javid, wasn't an economist, and the health minister has no medical experience.

The difference between countries like the UK and Thailand is that in the UK the Minister has staff and advisers, civil servants, who do know what needs to be known and they pass that knowledge on. Good luck in Thailand getting a Minister to listen to and take advice from his 'inferiors'.

Just look at Boris the UK Prime Minister ... He used to be a buffoon journalist that was put on "have I got news for you" just so people could laugh at him

If you got a new passport at an embassy here in Thailand it will not work too until you left the country and came back with it. Only then the new passport will be in this system.

Or if you dont leave the country you have to do your first 90 day report at IO and ask them to put you in the system.

I also noticed if you try to do it too early it tells you to report to IO and won't let you past the first page.

If the legislation to grow 1 Rai of cannabis plants passes he may still be seen to be heroic by some!

That is hemp, but by my calculations I think my wife can still get 600-700 grams of quality every 3 months from 6 plants.

EDIT @FarFlungFalang   check out "the thick of it".... yes minister for this century

  13. I can't give any specific details as I never sorted out the work permit myself but I did recently switch to a marriage visa although not worked on it yet...

Personally I never made any contributions to a provident fund, was never asked.

I thought the tor lor 3 was your marriage cerficate?!

and pretty sure you don't need to leave Thailand or change visa because as far as I know, the company can apply for a work permit while you are on a marriage visa.

EDIT : just seen Joe is typing ...he will know !!
