OP, its a right of passage to move here and act like a 20 year old for a few months, drink to much, hang around with girls half your age, subsidise a village in issan etc. Thats how you finally find and appreciate where and how you want to live.

Bang Saray would probably suit as its literally the southern end of Jomtien beach, Jomtien without the crowds and development

Lolol yes.......good way to put it.

My first 3 weeks in Pattaya 15 yrs ago........thought I went to heaven.

    Fortunately.......for me......it became old n boring after 3 weeks

  2. I lived in Jomtien from 2005-2014.........they never stop building.......its crazzzzy.

15 yrs ago there was no 7-11 on Soi Watboon.

Now you have 2 7-11’s and a Tesco within 50 meters of each other and I think now......there is a 3rd.

I definitely advise against living in Pattaya.

Best think I did......was leave that area and move to small village 30 mins outside Chiang Mai.

If you are coming here for girls n night life......then live in Jomtien and u can be in Pattaya in 10 mins when the urge rises.......so to speak.

If u want a nice quiet life without all that goes with that area.......then consider Chiang Mai.

It is night n day difference to living in Sexpat Central.

  3. My daughter is a Stewardess for Japan Airlines.

Every time BEFORE she gets in the Taxi, takes a pic of license plate.

Once in the Taxi takes the pic of his ID and license number and makes sure the driver face matches the I D.

THEN she send that info in Line and calls us and we talk to her until she gets out of the Taxi.

Many stories of cabbies raping women and doing other things.

  4. Why all the concern and drama?

Just use a credit card or just do C O D.

I buy a lot with Lazada and very rarely ever had a problem and if u do.... contact their Customer Service.

I found them to be outstanding~!!

    They handle it quickly.

Very good about keeping you informed.

    Very good about follow up.

You can also link your Thai Bank ATM / Debit card to it.

Stop making a mystery out of it

  5. Of course I feel bad for the guy.......to a point.

There is a never ending supply of Buffa_RO ATM's..........I have told myself many times I should open a business or write a book, a handbook, a Brochure........something for guys that are coming to Thailand for the first time.

If you are that stupid to put all your eggs in the  basket of a Thai lady less than 1/2 your age and think your bargirl loves your wrinkled up old self........you are an idiot...........but there is a leat one similar story here every week.

There......but for the grace of God and my good sense.....go I

Will they ever learn?  ABSOLUTELY NOT~!!!

  6. Didn’t u get the Memo?

Didnt u read the Brochure on the plane.

Visiting the Village is in the “NEVER DO” column.

YOU.....will be paying for the biggest party you ever say while they all sit around joking in Thai.....what a Buff-aRO......you are.

Relatives (that are not related) will come from far n wide and you will be continuously asked if you can help this uncle or this aunt.......and u can’t say NO.

IF you are smart........just walk away now, better yet RUN.......it only gets worse n worse and worse.

Only a bar girl less than 1/2 your age would expose u to this.

it gives here and her family great prestige in the Village to bring home a trained Buff-aRO..........but his only trick he is trained to do is go to the ATM as directed.

LEAVE NOW.......or continue to suffer financial drain

You forgot the other three factors ...........

    1) No Thai lady will sleep with any man for free.

    2) 75% of Thai men are broke.

    3) 10% of Thai men want to be Thai women.

Leaving only 15% of Thai men available to satisfy the remaining 110% of Thai 'women'.

*well put........any of these guys saying they never paid are ____________~!!

    Fill in the blank.

3 weeks or so of 3 different ladies a day was all that crap I was interested in.......been here 14 yrs.

I am 66 my wife is 60........ had a job in const building materials for 23 yrs when I met her.

Happiest 12 yrs with her and paying a monthly premium was never part of the deal.

If your wife or GF is less than 1/2 your age and u got her at a bar.......you are doomed.

I would disagree, the worst relationship I ever had in my life was with a woman who loved me and married me for 30 years. All the women I paid directly (by the night or by the month) have been totally enjoyable and satisfying.

Tales of woe only ever happen to those whom enable the woman to get control (or entitlement) to their assets.

Control your feelings, control your money.

Then u were in the .1%.......99.9 End in failure........overwhelming statistics verify it

  9. If you listen to NOTHING ELSE.........listen to this:

Any relationship were you are required to pay a monthly fee.........for whichever of the many reasons she chooses from the list..........IS A DEAD END STREET.........and that street leaves YOU broke and hopefully still alive.

NEVER justify it to yourself or let any bargirl or massage girl justify it for you.

If u fall into that trap.......YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING U WILL GET.

There is at least one poster a week Telling his tale of woe.

    DONT BE THE NEXT ONE.

  10. Don’t forget Pattat’s purpose.

It is a great place if you just got off 28 days on  Rig in the middle of the ocean

Its a great place for Arabs who tell their wives they are going to Haj in Saudi.

Its a great place for young and old with limited funds on a sexpat holiday.

Its a great place for Indians coming to visit their tailor relatives.

And there is a few other reasons I didn’t mention..

I lived in Jomtien for 9 years, left in 2014 and could not possibly care less to return........but if I said why......T V will put me on the bench for a week........so use your imag8nation.......
