To replenish the old sand with hundreds of tons of new sand they will have to either drage it from the bottom of the sea or bring it from elsewhere, thus creating a problem there in order to solve the the sand erosion of the more lucrative of Pattaya beaches...
They are already dredging off the Jomtien coast

If you were (or are) local, just go to the IO. Not too busy and takes about 5-10mins.
I got a C of E yesterday at Jomtien IO and it took 5 mins to hand in the paperwork and picked it up after breakfast at Simple Simon an hour later.

There is a second hand bookstall a few doors up from the Triangle bar in Soi Pothole. Can’t remember the name of it but it is an English name like Shakespear or something similar. They would be grateful for anything you give them.
Good luck
Just found out, it’s called Canterbury Tales.

Rich people are blessed by special magic not available to common folk which protects them from infections. Or does avoided direct impact mean: were insulated from economic consequences like the rest of you?
Yes I am

OP, as you say, you have medical insurance plus other investments so an emergency fund of 500k baht sounds fine.
I guess it depends on what you are classing as an emergency if your health is already covered?

Should look good when finished.
As for how busy it is, some obviously never visited the area the last 2 weekends. Beaches were packed and it was good to see.
