  1. I’m not in Jomtien but it is same everywhere.
I got my tax residency certificate  for 2019 year.  Now I have a question for 2020. My passport will expire this year and I need to renew my passport soon. But then my entry and exit stamps will be separated in 2 different passports. How revenue department will calculate 180 days ? Is it ok to give them 2 passports together , expired one and new passport together ?
because some stamps will be in old passport while others in new one. I’m confused about it.

Samui is not a girlie bar place. The nightlife here is mainly parties and clubs – even since the hippies invented the island as "tourist destination" – here's plenty of crowded nightlife available, including trendy pubs, but even there has never been that many girlie bars, there are less than before.

still much better than Ao Nang, khao lak, koh chang and koh phangan

Though having outpatient cover for Thailand is usually a waste of money.

Why you think this ? I think mrt,  X-ray, blood tests and CT scans will not be cheap. Therefore I think I should have outpatient coverage as well.
I live more than 6 month in Thailand already. I just asked 6 month condition for information.
And I am wondering one more thing. If I don’t tell my past operations and surgeries to insurance company correctly  , how they can find out my medical past ? Insurances in Thailand can get information from overseas, from my home country ?

Yes, I changed from Cigna to April for exactly this reason.

Make sure you get the international policy from  April global and  not the My Health Thailand policy.

You can get through AA brokers.

    hello @Sheryl

i want to buy also april my healt thailand essential, because i live in thailand and i dont need international policy. please can you give me more details about your post ? what is the differences between international policy from  April global and  the My Health Thailand policy other than zones they covered ?

  5. I read that some people have problem with Pacific cross when they must go hospital weekends or check out weekends because their claims service doesn’t respond at weekends.  I just read it in several places.
another thing is if you are not in Thailand more than 6 month in one year , you’d Policy will be invalidated  with PC according to their terms & conditions

taxpayer id is the number you receive when you visit your local tax office and apply for a taxpayer identification number (TIN).

if i recall, you need only your passport when you apply.  some have reported difficulty obtaining a TIN card, but no problem in bangkapi.  if they ask why, tell them you need to pay tax on your interest and dividends.

thank you for your answer. i have tax id already (TIN)
