I now rent a 2-bedroom condo in Q condo Sukumvit. The rent is almost $3K USD. The price of the condo is 30 Million BHT. Can I get a nice condo for 10 Million BHT? If so, please post some suggestions. I need a two bed room, preferably 2 bathroom condo close to BTS not too much inside sois. 

I live in Q-condo, Sukumvit, Bangkok. Was scouting for a new condo in Pattya for week-end gateway. Spotted a condo at Laguana Beach Resort - Maldives. The agent assigned to me says I could buy it in my name or a company name. For a company name, they need an additional 50K BHT to form a company. What are the pros and cons for each option?

Most units are sold. Not sure I could wait for a few months. A similar condo (Grand Solaire) is being built on Thepra road but it will be completed in 2022 December). She says I could buy the condo in my name or company name and she will form a company for an additional 50K to buy the condo. What is the advantage of buying a condo in my name vis-a-vis company name. She said if I have a company, in the future and I want to do a business, it will be easy for me. Any inputs?

Also I asked her if I can buy the condo in my newly born baby's name (my 19-year GF is due next week). She says she will find out and let me know. 

Thailand needs massive investment to clean up environmental concerns, improve garbage collection in cities like Bangkok and Pattaya. Builders are only building condos while polluting the environment. May be they need Chinese help in building clean cities, roads, bridges, etc. Then Chinese and Indians will come for short visits to improve the economy. But Thailand has to to pony up the initial investment.

I know/ 50/20 is fine for me. They said 3BB but I don't understand why when I called 3BB to confirm, they said they don't provide connections in Laguana Beach 3 Maldives. That bothers me.

Great thanks. It is a relief as I like the condo for week-end gateaway. Do they have phone line in the condo? I did not see during the inspection of the room. Is it ADSL? If so, what is the speed? Is it possible you can send me a pic of your installation in your room (as a PM). I want to go the 3BB office and talk to them. When I called, they say they don't provide in Laguana Beach 3 Maldives.

I live in Bangkok but planning to buy a one bedroom condo in Pattaya to relax with my GF during week-ends. I looked around and found Laguana Bech Resort III Maldives have a decent size one-bed room for 1.5 mil. I deposited the purchase agreement fees (20K). While walking out of the show room, I realized the they have wifi boosters in all the hallways. I asked about getting my own broadband from 3BB, True, or TMN (what ever is available). The customer service girl assured me I could get 3BB she also said that the wifi is free. I need my own router with at least 50/20 speed as I use a secured VPN to connect to Amazon cloud to run simulations that are proprietary and  can't be accessed with out an approved VPN service. 

Now my dilemma before I send the contact deposit (close 300K) is if at all possible I could install m y own internet in the room. Is somebody living in Laguana Beach III - Maldives condo can confirm that for me. If not, what is the speed of their free WIFI?

I have four passports (US, Trinidad and Tobago, Anigua & Barbuda, and Spain). I used my Antigua and Barbuda passport for EV. Thai immigration does not know about my other passports because I have never used them to enter Thailand. It took them 7-week to get my EV. The girl I talked to said it takes a little longer if you don't have any history of entering Thailand which I did not have using any of my passports. I was not in a hurry to get it so it did not matter. I entered Singapore using A&B passport (visa exempt) and then stayed in Singapore for three weeks, Got a TV in Singapore using the same A&B passport and entered Thailand (no visa exemption for A&B passport holders) with two months permitted stay. Waited in Thailand for one month and got my EV in CW before permission to stay date expired.
 

As you have a Korean passport, you will get 90-visa exemption. I will think that is plenty of time to get an EV before your permission to stay expires. 

Round trip but you have to book it in advance. They picked me up multiple times from Q-Condo Sukumvit,

"Even if". That is the main thing. Once you have a billion BHT, you would know what you would do. If you have a billion BHT, are you going to travel economy class, or drive a Toyota corolla, or rent  a one room hole for 10K? If so, you definitely won't get elite.

I'm not a billinoire but I have 100 mil. I bought a 20 year elite just for the convenience. No need for Immigration visit, TM30, 90-day reporting, an other non-sense. I feel money wll spent. After all, why you earn money if not able to spend it for convenience? Convenience and luxury is no calculated based on ROI.

I also don't believe in educating a child in a first class country. Have seen thousands Indian coming from humble backgrounds and educated in India become CEOs, board directors, doctors, lawyers, etc in the US so much so that their median income is double the native Caucasians educated in the US. Take the example of most farangs in Thailand. All educated in first class countries but have to come to Thailand, rely on their visas from wife, and live on measly income of 40K/month. 

I would prefer boarding schools in India, Singapore, or may be in Malaysia. But it will be up to the mother to decide. I can only lay the economic foundation and give suggestions.

You don't have to be Michael Jackson wealthy. With three million US dollar that made 600K USD last year only from US stock market, I feel I have adequate money at the age of 58 and most probably on the top 1% in the World. What percentage of farangs in Thailand have USD 3 mllion and an income of 600K USD?

Surrogate mothers won't give the same feeling of a exquisitely beautiful model girl with a moist succulent heaven and a warm perfectly shaped body.

I don't want to take the responsibility (non-financial) of raising a child and most probably I cant. I will give her US citizenship as soon as she is born. Not sure if possible to give Spain citizenship or not, though I got it from my mother. She can go to the US and get her self educated if she had the money. I, born in Trinidad and Tobago, in a middle class family got an education in the US without anybody's help and using only scholarships. I have seen thousands of poor people from India come to US and get educated and become respected members in their community without any US citizenship. If she had the money and smartness, she would be able to do that. Otherwise, she can live comfortably in Thailand. 

Most people look for cheap alternative and a few look for comfortable and pleasurable alternative - same as most travel in Economy but a few like Business/First Class, most buy Honda civics and a few buy BMW. You get the idea. Not that anything is wrong with that. People like to optimize what they value the most - for some it's  money and for others it can be pleasure and comfort. 
 

I don't care if she has another child form another man in the future but my child must be the first one for me to support anybody for life. If my money is divided among countless others, I am glad it helped the family. But I cannot help a girl for perpetuity who has already taken somebody's seed. I help her now whenever I feel horny. It is in my control. Not in her control.

That's what exactly happened. He supported her for two years but she was pressing her to register the child as a British, But he never did. After two years he went back to England and then sent money for a few months and stopped sending money, blocked her in line but unknown to him, she is still  fer Facebook friend.  All attempt to try to contact him through Facebook has failed and now he has blocked her in Facebook also.

I met her in a disco. She speaks good English. So we became friends. But I don't want to support her for life because the child is not mine.  I have taken the same stance for my rented sugar babies in Europe and the USA. 

I fled to Thailand last year (my first visit to an Asian country) to hide my whereabouts from some unsavory characters. I have already impregnated (confirmed by fetal DNA test) a 19-year model from Poseidon. I support her now with 40K/month cash, 30K/month credit card, unlimited maternity care at Bumrungrad, and a rental condo. These are chump changes for me. I promised her I would give her two million baht when the child is born and buy her a house and a car and continue giving money every month still I die. Only thing she has to do is not damage the child  before the child is born. I want her child to carry my DNA and my last name to continue my DNA in the future generations. 

I don't want to impregnate another lady who had a child from another person just to support her financially for life but want to help her non-financially if possible, if not it is not my headache. I'm not looking for a wife or a marriage visa. I already have a 20-year EV, passports from US, Spain, Trinidad and Tobaco, and Antigua and Barbuda.

My rented girl friend has a girl from a British man. The biological father is in the birth certificate and confirmed by a DNA test. After the DNA test, he fled. The mother has a copy of his passport. Can she claim child support in the UK embassy? If so, what is the process? She is also interested in registering the child as a British citizen. Can she do that without father's cooperation and present whereabouts except facebook profile. 

Mine took almost 5-weeks on an Antigua passport. I applied in the USA and I did not have any history of entering Thailand prior to that. The passport had lots of European entry (Schengen and non-Schengen) From various posts, I would guess that it takes between 3-8 weeks. 

I've a 20-year elite and I don't like to bother with 90-day or TM30 as long as the Immigration has my correct address. Elite office will 90-day but I am not sure if any 90-day from Elite office was rejected due to non filing of TM30? Can some elite member confirm this? If they are rejecting 90-day report from elite office for not filing TM30, I would fly to Singapore or Tokyo before 90-day is due which is next week.  I don't have any need to visit immigration in near future.
