You can't just sign up for it. 

  Then the employer would have to pay the same amount.

If you've lost your job, you're entitled for unemployment cash, I think it's for six months and 50 % of your salary.

   Taking the money out as a lump sum seems to be different now. i think you have to be 55 to do so.

   BTW, you can go to a dentist and they pay 1,000 baht per year.

  No matter where you're from, you'll have to get in touch with your embassy and if somebody from your country will pay them back, they give you money and a ticket.

   But there's nothing in Thailand that covers foreigners.

Traveling in the middle of a pandemic and sitting on a plane with so many people is insane.

Thailand doesn't do much testing, so I truly believe these numbers are wrong. It sounds better to have an RO of 1.5 than 2.5.
