  1. it seems like people are getting a little defensive about this issue.im not sure anyone has connected gays with lady men.i know i havent as ive already stated that i dont think they get the op for sexual reasons.

anyway im just a dosser, with an interest in psychology, but ive found this great website,by a pschiartrist from san fransisco, raymond lloyd richmond.

    this is what he had to say about the subject;

    quote;

"so why then would anyone develop a desire to change reproductive reality?well even if you understand the reality of the soul, the basic facts of life-reproduction & death-are still painful realities.but as plain realities, they dont mean anything;they just are.

a fantasy of changing ones personal meaning by changing ones gender derives from a misguided belief that sexuality contains some mysterious, great secret that will release you from the hard facts of life, death & social emptiness.so,at the core, the fantasy,in its very impossibility, represents an unconscious attempt to escape death"end quote.

i personally think that they just like wearing dresses, flicking their hair & saying kha a lot. :o

  2. who'd have thought it an italian player diving.

i was having a drink with an ozzie the other night & he recons footbal is going to really take off in oz.

i hope so,ive give up watching the international cricket, its too painful. :o

  3. paul gascoine was one of the greats.unfortunately the press seemed to be more interested in his exploits off the pitch & that he was a bit of a porker.

maybe rooney is one of those freak atheletes like lomu, the rugby player, when he was playing.

  4. i saw these 2 thai workers painting the underside of a walk bridge crossing, across a 3 lane busy highway,in bangkok.they were sat on just a board suspended by a thin rope on each corner, with nothing to protect them if they fell into the traffic below.that wouldnt happen in the uk.the construction company would cover their arse.

past & present religion must be factor on peoples veiws on life & death.

wasnt christianity invented by imprisoned slaves who accepted that they were always going to be slaves?"the meek shall inherit the earth".

maybe the budhist religion is also an accepting religion.

politics, past & present,of a country, must also come into peoples attitudes.

  5. yes,i tried it twice when ive been drinking with burmese freinds.to be honest it tastes like foul medicine.gives you a numbness around the jaw,or more of an effect if you take it after a couple of beers.i think it took off big in india, but now i hear that its most popular in burma.

if you try it,maybe have somewhere close where you can spit it out again.yuk.

  6. i wonder whether thailands long history of concubines & prostitution,is part of the reason why there are so many lady men in thailand.a sort of evolution into an anything goes sort of land, sexually.

i still find it hard to believe that a man would have the full operation for sexual reasons, considering that after he may never have an orgasm again,or definitely reduced pleasure.

i read somewhere that ,who we think we are is only a vague approxination of who we really are, because, who we really are is to painful to face up to,eg .vulnerable, not really in control of our lives,a pissing & shitting & farting, abused, human being.

maybe its the change of identity, not wanting to deal with who they really are,& so they create this new identity which they have control over.

    boll@@cks i hear somebody cry!

  7. i saw a deranged man kill another thai man (his relative) at point blank range with a sawn off shotgun around 6 months ago, whilst i sat in a restaurant .the blast woke me up from my daydreaming.

i heard from a relative of the guy who got killed that he was shot just because the nephew wanted to drive the car that they arrived in.

the guy took his last breath in front of me,after looking at me.

they caught the guy after he drove into a ditch, shortly after.

after seing it at close range i was happy that they caught the guy,& i suppose i was in favour of the consequences of his actions at the time, but i would also worry about police corruption,###### ups on investigations, human error, casualness, etc .

  8. as much as i dislike the way mcdonalds try to fill towns in the uk with as many of there restaurants as possible,i am not forced to enter one,& if i do, i am not thinking i am doing my body a favour by tucking into there food.

its the same with a smoker,he or she is generally not thinking about the harmful affects of smoking every time he lights up a ciggy.

maybe peoples denial should be addressed if they are entering a mcdonalds.

  9. anyway, back to the constructive critisism.

i think rio ferdinand needs to get a haircut.he looks more like hes going for an audition for pop idol than a defender for england,& if england lose against equador you can add on another eleven muppets.

  10. i was drinking with a journalist from a well known publication about burma the other week & he told me that aung sang suu kyi has got diariah at the moment, which i found a little amusing.a special person, but she is human after all,she gets the shits.

does anybody know how financially important tourism is to the burmese goverment?

they have a lot of natural resourses ,gas, timber, gemstones, minerals & i think trade with india & china is pretty good.plus the drug trade.

i know that tourists get charged around 3 times as much as the locals for goods & services,(which i think is right),& i think that the average burmese local welcomes tourism.

i have a burmese/karen freind,& i hear that buying a passport for her is a lot more expensive, than for burmese.which i interpret is because they dont really like them having a voice (power) outside of burma.

  11. yes,papillon,great movie,fantastic book.

bullit, another good steve mcqueen movie.best movie car chase ever?

road to pedition was a good movie, another sam mendes film.jude law played a great psycho.

i thought das boot is a great war movie,if you can call it that.

what was the stalingrad sniper movie with jude law, joseph feines, & rachel weiss?

great film(so great ive forgotten the f@@@@@g name of it).

  12. im pretty sure you wont get any anti american feeling there.

i have many burmese freinds,& the british colonial thing doesnt bother them.

if you dont get any in laos, the most bombed country in the world,im sure burma will be ok.

i think people are too busy trying to get by,to worry about politics.i hear burmese soldiers are paid a pittance,so i would be more worried about getting scammed.

  13. surely westeners with unlimited cash (compared to thais),who are prepared to pay ,way over the going rate for property, has some significance in this.

also the people that havent spent alot of time here or the people that have been living in tourist destinations for long periods of there stay in thailand,& a not really familiar with real thai prices.

i think if i had a nice pad in thailand with my imaginary wife,& put it up for sale,& then got a ridiculously high offer from a rich thai,& also a lower offer from a poor thai farmer,i'm not sure i'd be thinking of the wider picture.

  14. i think that the people who are critising england are doing so because they're worried that the team may not progress, if the performances so far are anything to go by.

im not sure its slagging off.

a half lucky goal against paraguay,a great clearance,by john terry.shots hitting the english goal posts against sweden.

    equador look a tough side.

  15. you have to feel for the lady.maybe she has more power & exposure whilst being under house arrest though.

i think its fair to say that the burmese goverment are a little afraid of tourists in burma ,because they have voice & a goverment behind them to speak up about whats going on there.

where as the locals are just treated like dogs.

ive heard of westerners who have been jailed after entering burma illegally,& ive heard they were treated pretty well,& released shortly after.
