I've always loved exotic reptiles. As a kid I had a Tokay Gecko as a pet. Bought it for a hefty price at the pet store, they put it in a little box, and I took it home to a beautifully prepared terrarium complete with live plants, twisting branches, and a little swimming pool. I was proud to have rescued it from the small tank in the pet store crammed full of too many Geckos. I figured it had never felt the freedom of movement or extended cardiovascular exercise.

When I opened the box to introduce it to its new home, it jumped onto my face, ran up and leaped off the top of my head, turning some kind of cool twisting ninja flip in the air, and stuck to the ceiling upside-down, all in a flash. It then ran all over my bedroom ceiling as I chased it with a fish net, until it finally collapsed from overexertion and fell to the floor dead as a door nail. And that was the end of my experience with a pet Today Gecko.

Very sad experience, I had one a bit similar with a dwarf rabbit, Luckily for them they had not to experience the traumatizing experience of the swimming pools being under lock-down due to Covid.

So now 7 days has passed and i was calling the desk to book a 30min stroll on their roof as stated in their broschure, after first negative result. i now have 2 negative results. And after 1st negative result i have a room cleaning. Behold.... They have now removed the 30min stroll and also removed the roomcleaning. Now i got an apollogy saying they are sorry but i must have read the not updated broschure that they now have changed. I will survive but this is certainly not needed when in quarantine

Soon cockroaches coming to visit you, spend some time. 555555

While you were stuck in the US for 2 years. This Gecko ensured that your home didn't become infested with all manner of bugs.

Killing the Gecko is how you say thanks. Karma will take care of you for sure.

Covid hasn't been around for 2 years if I recall correctly....

Being American I naturally reach for an automatic weapon in these situations.

Like your flamethrower solution, it is hell on the house but sooooooo gratifying. There's nothing like the smell of cordite in the morning!

I have abandoned the peace accords idea.

Must bring some memories back to you.. Napalm, agent orange......????

we never kill them. My gf catch them by hands and let them go outside.
but I keep them out of space between ceiling and roof of kitchen by mothballs. Mothballs keeps rats away as well.

Don't the mothballs keep away your wife too?? 5555555????

Borax or boric acid from lazada pour into drain and sprinkle everywhere in condo where cockroaches crawl

They eat it and die in the the nest where others eat it and die

Takes about a month to work and I can confirm it works!

Can also be used for your washing machine, cleaning all kinds of stuff and can be ordered on Lazada..

US Navy in Thailand? Where?  The only US Navy in Thailand could be a military attache at the Embassy.  I would say if Thailand had a US Naval base(like in Japan) then this might be possible.  Otherwise this sounds highly unlikely.  If one is a US Military retiree with a retiree ID then a vaccine at a Base hospital is probable.

The OP wasn't referring to US Navy only. Anyway soon about a 1000 of them should be here for RORO... Let's hope they were vaccinated and checked on STD's prior to their arrival.

Please do not make this into big secret plot to drug ASQ guests.

There are many possible reasons for your feelings. Most likely is you. You are stressed out and the more you think about this, the more you will start to imagine things.

Another good reason is the air quality. Thailand hotels can have poor air quality. Not all hotels  have modern air filters or change the filters or clean the mold and dust from the ducts. Thailand has bad air pollution. It is the rare hotel that cleans its ductwork on a regular basis.  Some of the pesticides and cleaning products they use can make people sick. I  stayed in one place that use so much air scent to cover up sewer smells that was given bad headache and nausea. The air fresheners rely on bad chemicals like formaldehyde and acetone.   Is it possible to open a window and to exchange the air? Can you go outside to the designated exterior zone? A bit of exercise and change in venue can help.

There is absolutely no need to drug anyone and those who suggest are not funny. Irresponsible claim too.

Some people are far tooooo serious. 5555555????????

Well, they did tell him all that was required for the different processes. When I said he didn't have TM30, she said she'll manage with a rental agreement. There is nothing much to complain about it. He is happy to have someone take care of everything for him, if he was more adventurous he would try 2 of the 3 processes by himself.

Maybe the wildest adventure in his life so far,a lot more to expect here. 55555

No i don't recomand to visit Pattaya now

all the entertainement venues are closed and the whole city is depressing, you can not even walk on the beach without being hunted by the police

Hua Hin could be better for the beach, or Ayuttaya for the ruins or Kanchanaburi if you like the jungle and the historical side

    (Erawan park is nice)

Have you lost your sense of humor??? 5555

Of course there are less things to do with the closures

however what stops you to move from Bangkok?

I mean if you are busy working, you don't have a lot of time

so it shouldn't be a problem to share the little free time you have together and if you don't work or if you can take some holidays (And since she is moving to Bangkok despite having a career in the marketing, it seems you can have some break from the work) i suppose you could have a trip together to another destination in Thailand with less restrictions, since the money isn't a problem for you. A lot of videos on YT from expats actually doing domestic tourism in Thailand with their Thai gf\wife, they don't seem to be bored at all

You limit yourself to BKK like if you was jailed here

there is a lot to see in the vicinity of the big city

maybe it's the moment to go on a discovering trip

For instance come visit Pattaya. 555555
