No, I am very well aware of that the world can´t come to any agreements that they can keep to. You can clearly see that in all from war to simple Brexit. However, I just vented my opinion. Actually that is not relevant at all. It have been years that 50 has been the age for retirement in Thailand. You could have changed that long time ago.

The USA is not the center of the universe, but it is an important part of a  healthy and prosperous planet earth. You should have a look at where much of the world's funds for social progress are sourced. Hint: It's not Australia, Germany or hina.

Yeas, you are right. But only because they have always been there and know exactly that they are putting themselves in a very good position of power. What if the world re-think and take that power away from them? Still only 350 million people, as you say now the center of the world. They are just in the position they are, because the rest of the world has been fools for too long time and allowed that to happen.

Your assumption is correct, but your father will only get a permission to stay based on the time your extension has left.

No one on a tourist visa gets a 30 day extension without an embassy letter. Not heard that is something special for Indian citizens.

Good Luck with that! They will most probable be at the customs office, where they will ask you do declare every little single thing. After that they will most probable ask you to depart with a couple of thousands of baht to get your things. 

They have clearly stated that there will be no more extension of amnesty. Wishful dreaming is one thing, but this ain´t so hard to understand. Not so hard to fix. The only thing needed is a guy that can cut a piece in the right size, Put up a new piece of wood to hold it if needed. After that it´s just to seal the roof and make it flat and smooth as well as paint it again. Most times there are a guy close or in the village that can fix such things with good result.

A fair guess would be gypsum, as that also is standard in Thailand in houses and apartments since 15 years back

Yes, absolutely. They are getting better, but yet soo far away to be able to use as a reliable translation. Sure it is a good tool for people that do not know Thai and are chatting with a Thai that do not know english. Mostly they can at least guess what it should be and get it quite right. ????
