Instead of letting the Baht creep up daily, try pounding it down, and keeping it there. The higher the Baht goes—the less chances for a strong economy on all fronts.

Indeed we have waited, although not exactly patiently, for Pfizer. It’s finally here for qualifying expats. And now we wait patiently for prepaid Moderna (for our much younger girlfriends/wives).

I’m not a doctor, but even so, I’d rather have two shots of the same vaccine. Far more history and data supports this. Only exception I’d make—wouldn’t bother with two SinoVac shots.

Right after 1st Pfizer dose, had lunch at an Indian restaurant, then off to BigC for a few things (they have the right beer, among other things). Felt dizzy, so wife & I checked out early, and drove home. Symptoms gone by next morning. Next shot, will go straight home.

If the government would combine relaxation of lockdown with the end of quarantine for fully vaxxed incoming—then things would begin to improve. And this refers to the real vaccinations—not the junk ones.

As long as dead people can still vote—I guess it’s OK…

Here in Isaan the malls remain quite full. People don’t need money. They buy on credit.

How about a comparison of 2 shots AZ, to mix ‘n match SinoVac and AZ? Better yet, compare one shot AZ to two shots SinoVac. You can mix water with your beer. It still tastes like beer, but not nearly as satisfying.

Here in Isaan, personal debt runs akin to personal pride. Gotta have the latest pickup truck, smart phone big house, clothes, etc. No wonder the ladies love foreigners. And foreigners enjoy younger wives in return.

I got my first Pfizer shot last week. Wife doesn’t qualify. Reserved and prepaid Moderna shots July 2 for fourth quarter.. Just hope Red Cross doesn’t commandeer the entire first shipment.

I share your guilt. Got first Pfizer last week., Thai wife has to wait. Maybe Moderna will come this year, if the Red Cross doesn’t hosey the first shipment.

They should publish the opinions of all the SinoVac breakout cases—just for perspective.

This proves something—that people know the difference between a good vaccine, and mediocre (at best) vaccine.

Only numbers in Thailand I truly believe--come from the exchange rates--and they don't look good.

With so many extra shares of Pfizer coming in—why not put a couple thousand into private hospitals to sell at a profit. That was the idea with the Moderna order, but who knows when it will arrive?

Such a tragedy and so sad. Someone owes the world some apologies, and perhaps some reparations.

Golly gee, do you think the economy will pick up when the August numbers come in? The Teflon Baht has added over 100 Satang in just two weeks vs USD, Euro, Pound, and even rose vs Chinese Yuan. What excuse will Bank of Thailand come up with now? Do international currency traders suddenly think Thailand has a robustly growing economy? Have they finally got Covid under control? Amazing Thailand.

Don’t forget fastest rising currency—up 3% in two weeks.

I don’t see a lot of tread on the back tire. Always ride on good, deep treads. Because you never know when it’s going to rain…

Instead of donating more medical devices, why not close down the Wuhan Lab? It would do a world of good.

One country competes with Communist China. The other country embraces and encourages China. Pretty obvious which country will surpass the other.
