I would be very surprised if they said they weren't, but that were only for show(ing off!)

A villa-cum-resort ????   Well not wishing to over emphasis the double entendre there ???? , it seems with the weapons and guns found it should have been entitled resort-cum-shooting range

So…. What is the “resort-cum-shooting range”?

    About 50cm?

I did read it. And it looks like a face saving exercise that is not doing it.  Again if they wanted to identify the alleged rapist test the fetus. If not why not? No fetus? No rape?

I gave a plausible back country explanation.

Child died of complications from cancer that eventually hit her brain. But it would make sense it was in her body/belly earlier causing a mis-diagnosis of pregnancy, leading to a witch hunt for a rapist.

The poor girl dies of rampaging cancer which finally entered her brain.  And some edjit says ‘complications’ for pregnancy, and doctors who missed the cancer say nothing to save face.

Grandfather is stitched up for months til autopsy finally shows child died from ‘complications of brain cancer’. But nothing stated it was not all through her body making her seem pregnant to country doctors, who missed it.

If it's the one next to the Pavilion Resort, it seems to be closed - Google Maps says "permanently closed" - or under reconstruction, just as like Pavilion.

This is how it looked last time I snapped a photo; however it's a year ago now, i.e. 10th October 2020...

Drove by last week looked about the same.

Lamai is not as dead, percentage wise, as Chaweng. But neither is fully recovered from the tumbleweed / ghost town stage of 2020. But Laguna shows no life.

    1,315 bases a majority.

    54% of a tiny, 2 day survey.

This indicates a very small plurality of a miniscule sample. Since with this sample size 3-5% inaccuracy must be assumed it is 50/50 yes and no.

Essentially half the questioned said no, half said yes or fine with me. But nothing is showing an accurate ‘majority’.

I’s not like 80% of 100,000 folks cross the entire country were asked to ‘privately and blindly answer’ unbiased questions and then gave a thumbs down.

if you call it “pornography” you bias the question, and to do it in a semi-public, peer surrounded, way the answers will be massively skewed.

there is sexually acts on film and there is pornographic content and they are not the same thing unless the definition is stretched. It is a concept that differs between many cultures.

    How about a quiet questionnaire not answered verbally in proximity to others asking;

Do you think access to videos of active sexuality should be legal for consenting adults?

aak that of 100,000 Thais not standing next to their wife or husband and you might get a more accurate response

    Thai tourism:

Tombstone Rip Graveyard Cemetery PNG | Picpng

They have been flogging this dead buffaloe for decades, thinking their puritanical view of what they think things should be…

can be turned into a viable National Business Model that will paper over the less puritanical business model that caused profits to suport the populace.

They have gotten manufacturing and agriculture-business to be profitable, but not enough to adequately to pay for a population mostly living on the edge. And often shooting their own feet in agriculture sector.

The ‘entertainment sector’ had for decades, post Vietnam war, taken up most of the slack and made it the fun place to visit whether wild social drinkers or the smaller “sexpat” sector. And remember, the local sex industry dwarfs the foreign ‘entertainment’ numbers maybe 80% to 20%.

But that always rankled the puritanical HiSo wives, and so their husbands paid lip service to ‘cleaning up the National act’ by spouting public announcements of a “more family friendly tourist market”.
Before sodding of to the Mia Noi’s or ‘private members clubs’.

But as a business model ‘family friendly tourists’ will spring the country back to life as Disneyland Happy Families Asia.

Ho Hum, All this hand wringing over a virus is getting tiresome. Can we please talk about something else?

If I remember the apeteryx, a wingless bird with hairy feathers, has been extinct for millennia, and it’s known kiwi descendants are so constricted in area that even Jacinda hasn’t seen one. So that might explain the ostrich like viewpoint on current affairs.
