Feel free to offer to pay to have that done.
I am sure that the abbot will appreciate it.
You can be sure that the abbot has enough syphoned off money to cover the costs many times over.

Seems a bit over the top, could be construed as sarcastic. He's seen smoking a large joint, and showing his ignorance about a great king, just dumb all round.
Nothing like a little bit of a*** licking. Hey?

We'd all be deported if they read this forum.
'Teak door' forum seems to get away with it and have been doing so for many a year.

I don't mean to be picky but this year the heat and lack of rain is exceptional.
Maybe but the same thing has happened in the past time and time again. Seems really stupid to me that a country celebrates annually with a water festival during it's hottest/driest days. They shouldn't have water shortages in Thailand if they planned ahead. As I said 'same same every year.'

The same could be said of quite a few AN members.

There are several subjects that are strictly taboo in Thailand, where one is not allowed to discuss them and god
forbids if you dare to criticise, but this is their country, take it or leave it...
Would it happen in the west? Rather childish if you ask me.

Yes i have notised this several times on this forum, that a thai person can't stay awake in a car, train, bus, mc etc. why are the doctors not concerned about this?
I have to agree. If my missus goes to BKK on the bus she sleeps the whole 4-5 hour journey, no problem. Same goes for a car journey to Korat, one and a half hours away. Same applies to return journey.
QuoteHow do Thai people fall asleep so easily?
Every Thai person I've ever known can fall asleep in under 5 seconds in any environment. Doesn't matter if they're comfortable, hot, cold, or sitting straight up. I've even seen some able to sleep while standing.
How can they do this?

but in any case, would YOU check out your car damage before attending to an injured person?
Checking ones car for damage before checking the welfare of the motorcyclist is irrelevant as to who's at fault. People react in different ways.

Abandoned...Really...Weird how the video is cut (on purpose?) not showing what actually happens next . Out of context. ps : the car did not make a brutal turn , rather smooth actually. Guess the motorcycle rider was on the phone while driving with no care at all as often here?
If one care to stop the video just before impact you will see that the car was stationary upon impact.

Car's at fault 💯% made a left turn right in front on the motorcycle
Doh. The car turned right, not left. Did you watch the video??????

Cannot say anything about the woman from this video, but the man is definitely more interested in the car than in the human being he hit just 3 seconds ago. What a disgusting person!
The disgusting person person you are referring to was stationary at the moment of collision. MC not paying attention.

I'd probably splay the ends of the pin a bit more to prevent it from accidentally falling out.
I'd do what the soldier has already done. Wrapped the grenade in electrical tape.

No he didn't. He said "You can't use this method here, as you need to surrender your old passport by posting it to UK". Doh.

You can't use this method here, as you need to surrender your old passport by posting it to UK, which you can't do if it contains your original and valid visa and extension stamps in it, which have to be transferred across by Thai Immigration. And what's his wife got to do with it?
What a load of tosh you write up. My wife renewed my passport in May 2019. She also acted as agent for a friend at the same time. Never a problem. Took photo copies of out passports pages and had our Visa stamps transferred the next time we had to report to immigration. So yes you can use whatever method you're referring to.

Interesting, I've recently been diagnosed with emphysema/asthma.
Knowing what I know now I'd go for the H Pylori antibiotic meds before I have the Asthma meds. It'll save you a lot of money if you first make sure you haven't got Asthma. Not too many doctors here clued up on H Pylori.
