I don't think that applies to people who are on extensions of a Non Imm O.

"No need to do ninety day reporting." So would you please tell me who you think it actually applies to; if not Non Imm O & OA holders?

I have an active online report awaiting a reply; if none is forthcoming my attitude will be they aren't being processed and I believe I will definitely be covered by the amnesty through having an extension of stay  based on an O-A. The graphic states clearly "No need to do ninety day reporting."

  3. I've had a Power of Attorney document notarized by a Queensland JP here in Chiang Mai. The document is now in force with my attorney in Australia. If it's any help, PM me for details.

The bonus prize is JP's aren't allowed to charge.....though lunch or coffee are appreciated.

The bigger question is why 300 million? The entire US population is 330 million. Unless mandatory, I doubt 300,000,000 will get vaccinated. Hopefully, there will be an extended "use by" date!

A glimpse into Trump's possible agenda......one sounding quite conspiratorial, the other from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services with disturbingly similar information. Up2U........

like those young girls gang raped by the school teachers

Can you provide some links to stories of young girls gang rapped by teachers in Thailand?

Google "teachers and alumni rape students"...... you'll get the full grisly details from the major Thai newspaper. It occurred in Mukdahan....and been on the news for the last week.

As I understand it we are not at liberty to post links to the broadsheet; hence my response in this format.

I’m confused further about portability; from what I’ve found it seems that citizens who have lived all their life in Australia then gained the OAP cannot get portability. If this correct, surely it can't be like that? Or am I misunderstanding the comments that always seem to be present re ‘outside for 6 weeks’?

If you've lived all of your life, except for some overseas holidays; you definitely do get full portability upon receipt of Aged Pension.

The 6 weeks relates to how long your full pension will be paid. After 6 weeks you only lose the energy supplement, not the Pension.

So I’m assuming that the pensioner must stay in OZ for the 2 years to gain portability, but is the 2 years calculated:

From the date the person arrived back in OZ

Yes; the 2 years starts after you return to Oz permanently. Eg. If you return and re-establish residency 6 months prior to being granted the pension, your full portability starts 18 months after you receive it.

do I need to apply to Centrelink to claim portability and/or request permission to leave OZ permanently?

You don't have to make an application to receive full portability; just call International Services in Hobart to confirm your pension won't be unexpectedly cut off and your 2 year sentence has now been expunged. There is no need to request permission to leave Oz permanently. It is a right enshrined in legislation. However by advising you will be leaving permanently, your payment will be lowered upon leaving to the post 6 week amount, which is currently $884.80. Approx. $100 shy of the full basic payment in Oz.

You may change your mind on that if you have a prostatectomy, and we don't get to choose if we have cancer or not.

We certainly have a choice to have surgery or not.

Free will....ain't it grand. Making that choice do you consider your PSI results, your prognosis of life expectancy or not give a damn either way?

  8. China and America are both complicit in this damned debacle....afterall the lab was picked by Fauci to do research on bat related Corona virus and millions of Uncle Sam's were provided to do it.

But let's not let that get in the way of the holier than thou attitude....

I have not read every post on this, and I may have missed it, what is your Visa and do you have a work permit?

Maybe young man will see Smart BMW in the near future. This is the question he does not want to acknowledge here on more than one occasion.

Slave labour in Singapore, any proof of that or just racist BS?

Split hairs all you like about designations; slave workers, migrant workers, same same in Asia when working outside of your country of origin.

Singapore’s coronavirus numbers have more than quadrupled in the past two weeks, propelled by a surge in Covid-19 infections among its migrant worker population. The island nation had 1,000 cases on April 1, with 10 infections among workers living in dormitories – and 4,427 infections on April 16, 60 per cent of which are migrant workers living in dorms.

  12. For people who like the argy bargy of Centrelink, there are special conditions that can apply when you tell them of an overseas marriage. If you meet the conditions, you get to keep the full single pension. This is achievable..........

    What special provisions are

If you think being a member of a couple causes you unfair hardship, call us on your regular payment line. You can do this at any time.

We may consider you as single under special provisions in the Social Security Act 1991. We assess each request on a case by case basis.
