no you should be able to increase your limit per transction. You have to contact the bank to find out their process. It should be understood that the limit is there to give you a stop gap and worse case loss if scammed. if you raise the limit and get scammed you get no extra support as a result of increasing your limit.

I have a krungsri acct for years for my retirement extensions. I dont do wise transfers as those are inter-banked as Krungsri is not 1 of the 3 banks Wise uses in country. I believe although they do process quickly even with wise. I only do swift wire transfers which generally arrive the next day , barring the weekend restriction in the US on transfers by swift at origin banks. Never had one take more than 2 days. I send the money in USD and convert on arrival at the bank and never get raped on currency conversion. Im on the monthly deposit method so it important they arrive with proper coding on the 12 month statements, which swift transfers always do. They will print the credit deposit statements for each on request. Easy bank to deal with. And they are a real bank not a money mover like wise or others. They are also rated a very stable and profitable bank among the choices in thailand. Just my opinion.

Have you tried Krungsri ? I've had great service with them and friendly to foreigners if your on a longer term extension. Should be a walk in the park

The imm's i have spoken too all seem to know the code for international bank transfers. Its more a matter of whether the bank 12 month statement lists the codes or just a description. But with that said its always best to check with the local Imm Off for what the expect, especially what copies are required

NST Imm office required the bank book pages copied, a current account balance letter and 12 month statement. Codes are always list on Krungsri 12 month statement. I also provide the Deposit Statement for each swift wire transfer\deposit as a matching back up. Never had an issue although all Imm office can be different as are some bank statement formats.
