  1. Perhaps they should read up on the financial fiasco that just went down in Vietnam within their banking system for some tips on what not to do if they want to stay solvent. People banking with Bankok Bank should check up on the limits of their account protection and consider their risk on their account deposits. Its not over until the fat lady or in this case the fat man sings. I think I hear the music playing in the distance.
  2. maybe next time hook your phone charger up to your car battery and see if that will work
  3. If your "smart" charger has features for stupid people then it should work just fine for you
  4. You are making unfounded moronic statements and claiming that I said them. You are apparently used to being a 4 year old throwing tantrums and expecting to get a candy bar at the end. Its not happening. The thing you need to take the hammer to is not the trickle charger but your head. Im done with this discussion and with you. Have your mom charge your diaper and then better day.
  5. Not sure where you got that i said i would throw out a car battery? I just explained that you were blaming a trickle charger when it didn't do what you thought it would do. If you have a dead car battery have it tested and you'll know if it can be recharged or not but a trickle charger probably isn't gonna do it in any short amount if time as they aren't designed for that
  6. Keep in mind that they held an accounting a few months back to identify people of questionable influence and question them. If memory serves me correctly of the 690+ people of bad influence almost 500 stated that they had already changed their ways, whatever that means. The remainder never committed to change nor did anything ever come of it.
  7. Might want to check that as a trickle charger is meant to charge a battery that is low but not dead with a lower charge rate as to not overheat it but the battery must have some charge. a float charge is meant to charge and recharge a battery to maintain it and has circuitry to stop at full charge and not over charge. A trickle charger is no meant for a completely dead battery.
  8. Perhaps the problem is not the Trickle Charger but your understanding of what it is and how it works. Trickle chargers are not meant for charging a dead battery, they are intended to maintain a charge on a battery that is used very little or in a vehicle that sits for long periods of time without use to keep the batter at a full state of charge.
  9. Hopefully free speech will be tolerated when news articles are posted and discussed and not just deleted when someone doesnt like whats said.
  10. Get a quote to pull it and do an implant instead.
  11. are you sure about buying at that age? While technically she could "own" at her age, it may present problems signing legal documents and contracts in the country. I would check with a qualified lawyer, if you havent yet, to make sure you dont end up in a circle with the various govt offices
  12. First off I never said anything about giving a free flight back. I said its at the carriers expense\responsibility and its up to them to settle with the passenger, or not. What I said was they are required to return you for not following the regulations of the destination country which they may be held accountable for the cost and any associated fines which signing a waiver does not negate. You are quoting carriage language from 1 carrier. Cost is between you and the carrier, end of story since the destination country regulations have to be followed regardless of payment for the return trip. The whole point of the subject is that you can be denied boarding if you dont meet the entrance regs of the destination country and your blurring that point. So you may want to review that and not just the airlines carriage regs.
  13. the airlines have no choice but return you if they fail to confirm the proper documentation on check in. The financial or fines are secondary to that and a separate issue. They can allow you to sign a waiver prior to boarding but fewer will accept that currently so end result if your denied entry you will sit in detention lock down untll you do return. Immigration seldom ever checks exit flights at entrance but anything can happen as its not the Thailand of 5 to 10 years ago
  14. yes , Its the airlines that are generally the issue for checking for onward ticket based on APIS and IATA software that shows them the destination country regulations as they must pay for the return flight if they disregard the regs and you are denied entry. Immigration very seldom will ask unless you have some other issue that they stop you for on entry,
  15. The dont care because its a water festival and if your in public in any way they think its funny to do it to you especially if the person is dry and hasnt been hit yet. Its like they get extra points for doing it.
  16. Sometimes you can't just put your life on hold because idiots have no self control and think everyone is a target and ok to drench. Some people actual have to go out to work and it becomes almost impossible to avoid.
  17. There are condos in abundance available in most all areas. Pattaya is only one location and not the end all and be all of Thailand. It appeals to a certain sector of foreigners but not all or even a majority dispute what people living there think. Maybe not in a particular bldg but certainly in close proximity so I'm not in your camp on this but understand your thinking
  18. Not necessarily. Foreigners are usually the ones getting overly zealous in throwing water. Couple years back I was in the back of a bus going thru town to my hotel and a foreign a-hole decided to climb on the back and dump buckets full of water inside on everyone ruining my phone and camera and passport and most of the documents in my backpack as well as items of the others in the bus.
  19. My comment was to the OP not about you or even my own opinion or what I would do.. Im already sorted. The OP was the one proposing to do that and yes it is pretty self centered position to put others thru as its fairly easy to outline ones wishes and arrangements
  20. My question was really to the OP to understand their thinking.. your scenario only comes into play if the quota is already met and a foreigner wants to be in that condo bldg. A Thai can sell to a foreigner if the quota isn't already met and then its added to the foreign quota.
  21. The real question is why the desire to buy under the foreign quota if the daughter is Thai? Without knowing that reason good advice cant be given. Under her Thai passport and documentation, she can't buy as a foreigner, but I believe she can if using the other nationality documents. I dont see the advantage of being under the foreigner quota but I presume there is some reason to want to do that.
  22. she obviously has a lot of entries in a short amount of time so its easy to see she's not the normal tourist nor is she on any long term multi entry permission to stay. The imm officer questioning that is well within their duties of office. The claims about blacklist etc is generally a scare tactic to get across to people you cant use thailand as a carousel. She doesnt live here and that much travel isnt usual although some do it. She has a date stamp that allows her to stay until that date and a dot beside the stamp means nothing. They can enter notes in the database if they are serious for all imm officers to see. She should have never signed any document without knowing what it was but most likely its the overstay\conduct rules.
  23. Talk to the OP, its his question posted and I was replying to his nonsense. Personally my $hit is already arranged for whenever I go
